> Quick view: Bingxue Malaysia's Buy 1 Free 1 Coffee Series finished on 31 July 2026, and the FoodPanda-only "KOMBOFREE" version finished even earlier, on 27 July. Neither has returned. What is running instead, as of 23 August 2026, is the 69 Tahun Merdeka Colouring Competition 2026 — spend RM10 at any Bingxue outlet, collect a free colouring sticker sketch, and 100 winners share a prize pool the campaign poster puts at up to RM10,000. It closes 31 August 2026.
The Buy 1 Free 1 coffee deal has ended
If you came here for the coffee promotion, the short version is: you have missed it.
- Nationwide in-outlet Buy 1 Free 1 Coffee Series — ran 1–31 July 2026 at every Bingxue outlet, hot or iced. Ended.
- FoodPanda "KOMBOFREE" Buy 1 Free 1 Coffee Series — ran 21–27 July 2026, delivery only. Ended.
Bingxue has not reissued either mechanic in August. With Bingxue coffee sitting in the RM6–RM10 band, that July pairing was worth roughly RM6–RM10 off every two cups — which is why it is worth knowing it is gone before you queue up expecting it.
What is live now: 69 Tahun Merdeka Colouring Competition
Bingxue's current campaign is a Merdeka activity aimed squarely at families, not at coffee drinkers. Here is the whole mechanic:
- Spend RM10 in a single transaction at any Bingxue outlet.
- Collect the free colouring sticker sketch at the counter — a Merdeka-themed sheet with the Bingxue Bobo bear, a Jalur Gemilang, durian, ice cream and other Malaysian motifs.
- Colour it in. The competition is for children 12 years old and below.
- Photograph or film the finished artwork, follow @BingxueMalaysia, and make sure the Instagram or TikTok account posting it is public.
- Post it tagging @BingxueMalaysia with the hashtag #BingxueColouringMerdeka2026.
Prizes: 100 winners, each receiving a Bingxue Bobo certificate plus either cash or a cash voucher, from a pool the poster states as up to RM10,000 in total. Winners announced 7 September 2026 at 6pm, on Bingxue Malaysia's own channels.
Window: 13–31 August 2026. There is no extension announced, so the last usable day is Merdeka Day itself.
Who this suits — and who should skip it
Worth doing if you have a primary-school-age child, already buy Bingxue drinks, and are comfortable posting your child's artwork on a public social account. The RM10 spend is not an extra cost so much as a normal order.
Skip it if you keep your family's social accounts private — a public post is a hard requirement, and there is no offline submission route. Skip it too if you are an adult hoping for a discount: this competition gives you no price reduction at all, only an entry.
What RM10 actually buys at Bingxue
The RM10 threshold is a single-receipt figure, and Bingxue's menu sits low enough that it usually takes two items. Using the price bands recorded for Bingxue Malaysia in August 2026:
- Ice Cream Cone Waffle — about RM4.00, Bingxue's best-known item
- Lemon Black Tea — RM4.00, one of the cheapest items on the board
- Brown Sugar Bubble Tea — RM5.50–RM7.00 depending on size
- Coffee series — RM6.00–RM10.00
- Smoothies — RM7.00–RM12.00
So a cone plus a lemon black tea comes to about RM8 and falls short; a brown sugar bubble tea plus a cone lands around RM11 and clears it. A single coffee at the top of its band clears RM10 on its own. Overall Bingxue's menu runs from RM4.00 to RM19.90.
Where you can actually do this
Bingxue Malaysia is operated by master franchisee Five Tastes F&B Group Sdn Bhd (SSM 202301019102). JAKIM e-Halal listings compiled on 3 August 2026 show 42 halal-certified Bingxue premises under that single company, spread across 8 states and federal territories — see the table above for the split.
The practical point: Johor alone holds 17 of the 42 outlets, 40% of the chain. If you are in Penang, Kelantan, Negeri Sembilan, Perlis, Sabah or Sarawak, there was no certified Bingxue outlet in your state as of August 2026, so neither this competition nor any future in-outlet Bingxue deal is reachable without travelling.
What Bingxue's calendar suggests comes next
Bingxue Malaysia has run a coffee-led promotion in most months of 2026: a 50% off second coffee in April, the same mechanic 6–31 May, an all-day RM3.90 Hot Americano at selected outlets through June, then the full Buy 1 Free 1 in July. August broke that run in favour of the Merdeka campaign. That pattern makes a September coffee offer plausible — but Bingxue has announced nothing, so treat it as a habit, not a promise.
Fine print Bingxue has not published
- Per-winner prize values — only the 100-winner count and the up-to-RM10,000 pool are stated. How the pool splits is not published.
- Judging criteria — whether winners are picked on artistic merit, engagement, or randomly.
- Entry limits — whether one child may submit more than once, or whether multiple RM10 receipts yield multiple sheets.
- Sticker sketch stock — the poster does not say the sheets are while-stocks-last, but it does not guarantee availability either. Ask at the counter before you order if the sheet is the only reason you are buying.
