Padini Concept Store at The Spring Kuching started a renovation clearance on 10 September 2026 with stock from RM9, then closes temporarily for renovation. Padini has published no end date and no product list, and the poster's fine print is the whole rulebook: only valid at The Spring Kuching, no reservation, no refund, while stocks last. We read Padini's own store locator and its online catalogue this run. Only three of the 131 items on Padini's Concept Store page cost under RM20, and once this shop shuts, Kuching is left with a single Padini Concept Store.
Ayam Brand's RM150,000 Beli & Menang Runs to 31 October: Spend Past RM100 on One Receipt and It Counts for Nothing
Ayam Brand is running a nationwide Beli & Menang contest from 1 September to 31 October 2026 with RM150,000 of prizes, headed by a Proton e.MAS 5 Premium Spec worth RM78,450. Buy RM20 of participating Ayam Brand products in one receipt, photograph it and upload it on the contest page. We read all sixteen clauses of the official terms this run, in both languages, and the rule that decides everything is buried in clause 6: every RM20 on a receipt earns one serial number, and each receipt is capped at five. RM100 is therefore the ceiling. The organiser's own example shows a RM187.50 receipt earning the same five chances as a RM100 one, so RM87.50 of that shop bought nothing. Three more things the poster does not tell you: the weekly prize count on the artwork does not match the weekly schedule printed beside it, the Malay and English terms disagree in three places, and only ten named product ranges qualify.
Genting Highlands Premium Outlets 15th Anniversary Sale: Up to 80% Off from 10 to 13 September, and Only Thursday Earns the Cable Car
Genting Highlands Premium Outlets turns 15 this month and marks it with four days of tenant sales, 10 to 13 September 2026, 10am to 10pm. The centre's own anniversary listing carries 73 dated brand offers. Its deals index carries 43. Only one brand sits on the deals index and not the listing, while 34 sit on the listing and never appear on the deals index at all, including Coach at 50% off storewide, Citizen's second watch at RM1 and La Senza's buy one free three. On eleven brands the two pages disagree: the deals index has New Balance selling a third item at RM1 while the anniversary listing has it at 50% off three, and on Guess and Sunglass Hut the index quietly publishes money the listing leaves out. A third offer, Skechers, is on both pages but not on the Skechers store page, because the mall has filed it under a retired duplicate record with the wrong suite number. And the RM200 cable car redemption that shoppers reach for runs Monday to Thursday only, so of the four sale days exactly one qualifies. We re-read all four of the centre's surfaces on the morning of 10 September, opening day, and the whole mess is still there. Here is every offer, the arithmetic on the ones worth the drive up, and the ones that are worse than what the same shop gives away for free all year.
Eco-Shop's Beli 5 Percuma 1 Runs to 31 December, Members Only: All 358 Eligible Items Are Food
Eco-Shop has a buy-five-get-one-free offer running for the whole of 2026, and the details live in a terms and conditions PDF that its campaign page links to but never summarises. We read all 14 pages this run. The mechanic is simple: buy six items from the eligible list in a single receipt and the sixth is free. Three things the poster does not spell out. It is for Eco-Shop members only, so a walk-in paying cash gets nothing. The eligible list is exactly 358 item codes, and every one of them is food or drink, with no household, stationery, pet, baby or beauty product on it at all. And on Eco-Shop's stated RM2.60 price point, six items cost RM13.00 instead of RM15.60, a flat 16.7 percent off, which is about 83 times what the chain's own loyalty points return. Running alongside it until 30 September is the RM2.60 Merdeka collection with Projek SembangSembang, and the local-picks shelf beside it is made almost entirely of Buy 5 Free 1 stock.
Pacific's 58th Anniversary Shop & Win Closes 16 September: RM50 Buys One Entry, However Much You Spend
The Store Group's 58th Anniversary Shop & Win has been running since 22 May 2026 and stops accepting entries on 16 September. Spend RM50 in a single receipt at a Pacific, Pacific Grocer, The Store, Market Place, TS Concept Store or Super Jimat, scan the QR, upload the receipt, and you are in the draw for a Proton e.MAS 5. We read the full official terms on the organiser's own entry site this run, and the line that matters is buried in the middle of them: each purchase receipt is entitled to one entry only, regardless of the total purchase amount. A RM500 receipt and a RM50 receipt are worth exactly the same. Two more things the posters do not tell you: winners pay the registration, insurance and road tax on the cars themselves, and anyone who does not turn up in person at the prize ceremony forfeits the prize. This is also the rare national campaign that is almost entirely out of town: Pacific's own store list runs to ten outlets across Kedah, Penang, Perak, Kelantan, Terengganu, Pahang and Johor, and not one of them is in Kuala Lumpur or Selangor.
M Social Penang's RM98 Malaysia Day Buffet: Even the RM49 Child Price Is the Standing One
Beast & Butterflies at M Social Resort Penang in Tanjung Bungah is running a Taste of Malaysia buffet lunch on Wednesday 16 September 2026, from noon to 3pm, at RM98 nett per adult with Buy 3 Dine 4 and MyMillennium savings of 15 to 25 per cent. We read the hotel's own offer pages and its own menu PDFs, and almost all of that is already standing. RM98 is exactly what the restaurant charges for its weekend brunch buffet, Pay 3 Dine 4 is the standing group discount on that same brunch, and the 15, 20 and 25 per cent member tiers apply to every buffet there. Two things are genuinely different on 16 September: a one-day menu that runs seven states across its mains, and a buffet on a Wednesday. We have since queried the restaurant's own booking engine date by date, and it settles the last open question against the offer: the standing Saturday and Sunday buffets charge the same RM49 for seniors and children, so the RM49 on Malaysia Day is not a saving either. The RM38 weekday set lunch is still bookable on 16 September alongside the buffet.
Al-Ikhsan's Malaysia Day Mega Sale Has 11 Offers and Five Spend Thresholds, and Only One Poster Carries a Date
Al-Ikhsan Sports is running its Malaysia Day Mega Sale across more than 180 stores in Peninsular Malaysia, and it is not one promotion but eleven, each with its own spend threshold at RM100, RM150, RM200, RM300 or RM600. We read all twelve pieces of the retailer's own campaign artwork and every relevant collection on al-ikhsan.com. Only the Puma Running Fest poster prints a date, 1 to 30 September 2026. Everything else is undated. The free-socks offer is described one way on Al-Ikhsan's website and another way on its own in-store poster, the two lists of qualifying brands do not match, and Puma is on the website's list but neither of the poster's. There is also a separate online-only 9.9 drop that was advertised to open for orders on 9 September; we checked that morning and the collection behind the banner still listed nothing, while the Selangor FC shirts it calls a new arrival had already been on sale since 20 to 29 August.
Family Store Negeri Sembilan Is Running Three Price Lists at Once, and Your Branch Decides Which One You Get
Family Store has 11 outlets in Negeri Sembilan and is currently running three separate September promotions across them. Not one of the three covers all 11 stores. The Selamat Hari Malaysia flyer is state-wide but has no fresh prices at all until 11 September. A Weekly Deals list runs to 13 September at four branches only. A six-day Promosi Hebat runs to 13 September at two others. Five branches get neither. We read all three flyers off the chain's own Facebook page and found the same French beans priced at RM2.90 a kilo on one and RM8.90 a kilo on another.
AEON's 42nd Anniversary: RM42 Buys One Draw Entry, and Only 21 Stores Get a VIP Day
AEON has stacked five separate promotions under one 42nd anniversary banner between 1 September and 31 October 2026, and they pull against each other. Spend & Win gives one Batik Air draw entry per RM42 receipt no matter how much more you spend, so splitting your basket multiplies entries. But splitting destroys the RM100 voucher threshold and the RM150 tote threshold. We read AEON's own terms PDF and all five campaign posters, found the flight prize count contradicted between two of them, and worked out which day to shop.
Lost World of Tambun's Own Promo Codes: RM40 Off an Ipoh Day Ticket, RM450 Off the Hot Springs Pass
Sunway Lost World of Tambun prints two promo codes on its own ticket store and explains neither. We put both through the cart on 7 September 2026, re-tested them on 8 September, and the results invert. On day tickets, WS2602MYKAD is the real one: a Malaysian adult theme park ticket falls from RM160 to RM120, a child from RM140 to RM103, and a night park adult from RM130 to RM100. WS2602ONLINE is worth only RM5 to RM7 there. On the Hot Springs and Night Park Annual Pass it is the other way round. WS2602MYKAD is refused outright, while WS2602ONLINE takes the pass from RM648 to RM198, a RM450 cut that pays for itself on your second night visit. Two things to know before you buy: the store accepts only one code per cart, so the pass and the day tickets have to be two separate transactions, and every night park ticket is void on the nine October and November nights that belong to Screamfest 5.

We pulled every one of the 1,439 items in the campaign and worked out the real ladder: half the range is under 30% off, only 200 items reach 50%, and 98 items sitting inside the sale have no discount at all. The 151 items that need no Star Card are cut deeper than the 1,190 that do.
Gaya Island Resort Kept Its MATTA Fair Rate Open: RM1,119 for Two Nights in Sabah, Every Meal Included
MATTA Fair ended on 6 September 2026, but Gaya Island Resort's fair package is still sitting in the resort's own booking engine with an Extended ribbon on it, open to any Malaysian or Singaporean resident with no fair code and no proof of attendance. It is the resort's standing Residents' Package with a flat RM300 taken off: RM1,119 for two nights in a Canopy Villa in October, RM999 for a Bayu Villa in January, with breakfast, set lunch and set dinner for two every night and return speedboat transfers from Jesselton Point. We priced it against every other rate the resort sells, added the Sabah Parks conservation fee and the 18% nobody quotes, and worked out where the RM300 is worth the most.

Telekom Malaysia has opened the entire Unifi TV channel line-up, all 73 of them, to anyone in Malaysia from 31 August to 30 September 2026. That includes the HBO and Cinemax channels TM sells as its exclusives, plus beIN SPORTS and SPOTV. You do not need to be a Unifi broadband customer, you do not enter card details, and you do not subscribe to anything: an email address on the Unifi TV 2.0 app or at unifitv.com.my is the whole sign-up. Here is what is actually worth watching in the days that are left, what Unifi's own price list says the same channels cost the rest of the year, and the 22 channels that quietly stay free from 1 October.
Resorts World Langkawi's 2026 Packages: One Saves You RM170, Another Costs RM592 More Than Booking It Yourself
Resorts World Langkawi publishes five packages that all run 1 January to 31 December 2026, with member and non-member ringgit printed for every room type. The resort also publishes an a-la-carte rate for each activity it bundles, which means the packages can be checked instead of trusted. Do the arithmetic and they split cleanly: the Golden Hour Sunset Cruise package beats booking the same two nights and the same cruise separately by RM170, while the Signature Suite Getaway costs RM592 more than assembling it yourself. We priced all five against the resort's own activity list, mapped the Genting Rewards discount room by room, and found the RM10 per night Langkawi levy that none of the package pages mention.
PETRONAS Kedai Mesra: Splitting RM45 Into Three RM15 Receipts Triples Your Shot at RM10,000
Senangnya! Ini Baru Mesra runs 1 September to 31 October 2026 at Kedai Mesra outlets inside PETRONAS stations nationwide. Spend RM15 in a single transaction on eligible non-fuel items and you earn one draw entry, with 134 prizes led by ten cash awards of RM10,000. The mechanic PETRONAS publishes but never puts on the poster is that a RM100 receipt earns exactly the same single entry as a RM15 one, so how you split the basket matters more than what goes in it. We also read the live Kedai Mesra price list and found three lines that cost more in Sabah and Sarawak.
Johor Premium Outlets 15th Anniversary Sale, 10 to 13 Sept 2026: Up to 80% Off, Midnight Closing on Two Nights, and the Offers That Are Not Actually New
Johor Premium Outlets in Kulai turns its 15th anniversary into a four-day sale from 10 to 13 September 2026, and on the Friday and Saturday it stays open until midnight while its sister centre in Genting Highlands closes at 10pm as usual. We read all 83 offer listings off JPO's own event feed on 6 September 2026, then cross-checked every one of them against JPO's own live deals listing. Forty-eight are dated to the four sale days and 24 run the whole month, but several of the headline numbers are not anniversary offers at all: G2000's up to 80% has been running since 16 June, Vans' 50% with two items since 2 May, and MANGO's RM69 off RM350 since 21 August. The one that moved the other way is Akemi, whose fixed RM15 and 2-for-RM29 tiers expired on 6 September and are not in the anniversary version. Re-checked on 8 September, we also found the 48 standing VIP Shopper deals the anniversary page never mentions, and four brands whose two JPO listings now disagree. Ecco changes its offer by the day. A separate contest called Shop More, Win Bigger runs seven days longer than the sale, to 20 September, and the Maybank voucher everyone mentions does not work on Malaysian-issued cards.
Nights of Fright 12 at Sunway Lagoon, 25 Sept to 7 Nov 2026: RM138 a Ticket, and Four Nights Are Already Gone
Sunway Lagoon's Nights of Fright is back for a 12th year, themed The Apeocalypse, running every Friday, Saturday and Sunday night from 25 September to 7 November 2026. Admission is RM138 all in, and the checkout forces a second line at RM0.00: one 50g bag of Sunway Theme Parks Kedai Runcit potato crisps per ticket, redeemed not in the park but at Sunway Pyramid. The Xpress Pass costs RM98 on top, a 71 percent uplift, and buys 30 minutes of early entry plus express lanes. We went back through the checkout on 10 September 2026 and four of the twenty nights can no longer be bought at all: opening night on Friday 25 September, then Friday 2 October, Sunday 1 November and Friday 6 November. Sunway's own colour-coded calendar still shows three of those four as freely available, because it is a JPEG that has not been re-uploaded since 24 August. What it teaches about which nights go first is backwards: every Saturday it flagged as selling fast is still on sale, while three of the seven Fridays have gone. The Xpress Pass runs out ahead of the ticket, and is already unavailable for Saturday 3 October even though admission that night is not. Separately, the park's roller coaster is still shut, and not for an upgrade: it stopped abruptly on 22 August, ten of the twenty-two riders were injured, and Selangor's police chief said on 7 September that the investigation will take three to four months.
Genting SkyWorlds Charges RM168 at the Counter. One Card Brings It Down to RM65
Every rate card Resorts World Genting publishes points the same way: book online at least a day ahead or pay double at the gate. The Kad Pekerja MADANI offer is the one exception. It is a RM65 one-day standard ticket to Genting SkyWorlds, sold only at the ticketing counter, only to holders of the union workers' card, and it runs all the way to 31 December 2026. That is RM103 below the Malaysian walk-in price and RM23 below the advance online price, which makes it the only counter rate on the hill that beats booking ahead. We read RWG's own offer page, all three Genting SkyWorlds rate cards and the Unlimited Pass terms this run to work out who actually gains, and the three groups who should ignore it.
CelcomDigi Says Spend RM20 to Join Mega Gegar. Its Own Page Sells a RM6.90 Entry That Comes With 1,631GB
CelcomDigi's Mega Gegar 20 Juta runs to 30 September 2026 and is really two campaigns: a nine-offer Nationwide Sale you can just buy, and a RM20 million contest. We read all three terms and conditions documents and every one of the brand's fifteen device cards. The National Day Pass gives 1,631GB for RM6.90 against 9GB for RM6 on the standard three-day pass, the device rebate stops at your own instalment, three foldables carry gifts worth up to RM2,899 that the terms never mention, and the mystery box turns out to be an animation played over a decision already made on response speed.
Gurney Plaza's Mid-Autumn Gift Ladder Has Four Rungs, and You Only Get to Pull One
Gurney Plaza's Reunion Mooncake Fair runs 4 to 20 September 2026 on the Ground Floor Extension Wing, and the mall has attached four spend-and-redeem gifts to it: RM450 from 4 September, RM400 from 5 September, RM300 from 11 September, RM200 from 16 September. The fine print on the mall's own artwork limits you to one redemption per shopper, so the four rows are a menu, not a staircase. Here is which rung is worth pulling, why the receipts must be same-day, and why 16 September is the one date that matters.
Giant Has Three September Price Lists, and Its Own Website Is Unreachable
Giant's Harga Hangat flash list published exactly ten prices and expired on 6 September 2026. Its I Love Malaysia catalogue runs to 16 September. And there is a third list nobody counted: Harga Rendah Lebih Lama, pushed on 4 September across five slides naming Mi Sedaap, Jasmine Sunwhite, Drypers, Dutch Lady, Kotex, Softlan, 100PLUS and Mamee Monster without a single ringgit figure or an end date. The complication is that giant.com.my refused connections on both 5 and 6 September 2026, so the catalogue that outlives the weekend is the one you cannot currently open. Here are all ten weekend prices kept on the record, the catalogue figures captured before the site went dark, and what is actually still worth a trip.
A'Famosa Melaka's MATTA Fair Rates Outlived the Fair and Then Fell Again: Condo 2-Room Is Back to RM209, and the Honeymoon Villa Is Sellable at RM599
The 59th National MATTA Fair closed at MITEC on 6 September 2026, and A'Famosa Resort's fair pricing did not close with it. We re-read both first-party channels on 7 September, the day after, and found the ticketing page still selling nothing but MATTA-priced tickets — RM89 for Safari Wonderland and Water World together, RM59 and RM39 separately, annual passes at RM289 and RM239 — and the booking engine still quoting MATTA Fair room plans. Better than that, the rooms came back down. The overnight reprice we recorded on 5 September has been reversed to the ringgit: the Condo 2-Room is RM209 again, not RM289, against an unchanged RM435 public rate, which is 52 percent off. The Gemilang Gateaway plan on the villas has been cut harder still, the Honeymoon Suite is bookable again at RM599 against RM995, and the Condo Family Studio the poster leads with has quietly gone off-sale on both plans. POPULAR Super Holiday Promotion to 16 September 2026: The RM12 Card Is Worth More Than Most Prices on the Flyer
POPULAR Bookstores is running its Super Holiday Promotion from 28 August to 16 September 2026 at all 80 POPULAR and HARRIS outlets in Malaysia. We read the campaign artwork on POPULAR's own site at full resolution and priced every line on it. The finding that matters is not the headline "Save up to 25%": it is that a large share of the flyer carries two prices, a public one and a lower member one, and the gap on a single item runs as high as RM19.90. A one-year POPULAR Card costs RM12 and a three-year Privilege Card costs RM25, so on this flyer one Chinese business title, one K-pop CD or a six-item back-to-school basket already pays the card off. Separately, members get a one-time 20 percent storewide gift certificate valid to 27 September, which breaks even at RM60 in a single receipt. One block of the same flyer, the WOW! panel, was only ever valid in August and is already dead.
Everrise 33rd Anniversary RM100,000 Contest, 4 September to 31 December 2026: RM100 in One Receipt Enters You
Everrise's 33rd Anniversary flyers of 3 and 4 September carried a gold star reading "THE MORE YOU SPEND, THE MORE YOU WIN WORTH RM100,000" with no mechanic printed anywhere, and this article first read it as a supplier campaign. Everrise has since printed the rules on its 5 and 6 September sheets, and the contest is its own: 4 September to 31 December 2026, at all outlets, members who spend RM100 in a single receipt storewide, for a grand prize of RM10,000 cash, a first prize of RM5,000 cash and two Disney Cruise special prizes. QL Eggs' Beli & Menang Telur Emas, 1 August to 30 September 2026 on a minimum RM15 of QL products, is a separate contest on the same paper. The three-day members' price list ran 4 to 6 September at 19 of Everrise's 21 stores, and the four regional sheets do not agree with each other: PediaSure 1650g is RM204.99 in Kuching and RM194.99 in Miri and Bintulu. A separate one-day Members' Best Value sheet then ran on 6 September at 8 of the 14 Kuching stores and beat the anniversary sheet in the same shop on several lines.
Bataras' Merdeka Catalogue Expired 8 September — the Prices Are Still Up, and Facebook Had a Second Price List All Along
Bataras' Merdeka Bersama, Jimat Bersama catalogue ran from 28 August to 8 September 2026 across 58 named outlets in Sabah and Labuan. It has now expired — and when we re-checked on 9 September, the day after, nothing had replaced it and nothing had been taken down. bataras.com still serves all eight flyer pages, the site's media library has accepted no upload since 28 August at 2.29pm, and every dated card on the official Facebook page still reads "Sah Sehingga 08/09/2026". The prices are still on screen and none of them is valid. Two things came out of that re-check that were not in the catalogue at all: a Facebook-only price list carrying Econsave house-brand stock on Sabah shelves, which is the plainest evidence yet of the May 2025 takeover, and KAMI PATUH, Bataras' standing written promise to honour the lower price when the shelf label and the till disagree.
emart24 PWP Deals to 30 September: The Poster Says Up to 60% Off, the Deepest of Ten Cards Is 41.9%
emart24 Malaysia posted its September Daebak Deals on its own Facebook page on 3 September 2026: purchase-with-purchase prices on ten items, unlocked by a minimum spend of RM5, running 1 to 30 September 2026. We downloaded all ten campaign cards at full resolution and did the arithmetic on every one. The headline reads up to 60% off. The deepest card published is the 230ml pouch drink at RM2.50 from RM4.30, which is 41.9%. The average across the ten is 26.8% and the median is 20.3%. More useful than the percentages is the RM5 gate: only five of the ten items save you more than the RM5 you must spend to reach them, so half the list is worth buying only if the RM5 basket is something you wanted anyway. There is also a second, unconditional emart24 offer running until 16 September that beats six of the ten PWP cards outright.
Resorts World Kijal's RM740 Turtle Weekend: The Package Price Never Moves, the Room Rate Does — Every Remaining Friday Priced
Resorts World Kijal in Kemaman, Terengganu is selling a package called Be A Seaturtle Superhero: three days and two nights in a Premier Seaview room, daily buffet breakfast for two, and a one-time release of two baby turtles on the Saturday morning. It is RM740 nett for SkyCard or Genting Rewards members and RM800 for everyone else, and it runs Friday to Saturday until 31 October 2026. The package price is fixed at RM400 a night. The plain room-only rate for the same Premier Seaview is not. We re-priced every remaining eligible Friday on Genting's own booking engine on 4 September 2026, and on eight of the nine the package is the dearer buy: the bare room costs RM305 a night on seven Fridays and RM336 on 25 September, which puts the package RM190 or RM128 ahead over two nights. The single Friday where it undercut the room, 4 September, is now the check-in date itself. Guardian's Buy 2 Free 1 Ended on 7 September. Now 3,001 Items Are Marked Down and Buy 2 Save More Runs to 29 September 2026
Guardian's Beauty Days Buy 2 Free 1 ran from 2 to 7 September 2026 and is now over. We re-ran the same baskets through guardian.com.my on 8 September: three RM5.90 bandages come to RM17.70 with no discount line at all. What replaced it is better for most shoppers. The Beauty Days pool has grown to 4,262 products and 3,001 of them, 70.4 per cent, are now individually marked down by an average of 21 per cent, where on 3 September not one item was. Our worst promotion basket, RM526.00 for a 1.1 per cent saving, now rings up at RM307.10. Separately, Guardian's printed September catalogue is running Buy 2 Save More at fixed two-for prices until 29 September, and on two of those items the website is cheaper than the flyer. AEON Ipoh Stamp Card, Till 25 November: Why One RM400 Receipt Earns Less Than Eight RM50 Ones
AEON is running a stamp card at its Ipoh store called Stamp It, Fill It, Redeem It. Cards are issued until 27 October 2026 and the last day to redeem is 25 November 2026. The mechanic looks ordinary until you read the one line that matters: a stamp is earned per receipt, not per ringgit. One receipt of RM50 earns exactly the same single stamp as one receipt of RM400. That inverts the usual supermarket logic and decides whether the card is worth carrying at all. We worked out what a full card costs an AEON member versus a non-member, why the free membership is worth RM240 of avoided spending here, and why redeeming at four stamps quietly cancels the better reward at eight.
KK Mart September 2026: All 50 KK Murah Prices, Plus Buy 1 Free 1 on Five Tuesdays
KK Mart is running two separate campaigns this month and they do not cover the same map. KK Murah runs 1 to 30 September 2026 and prices 50 named products, each card printing the normal price alongside the promotional one, so for once the discount is checkable rather than a slogan. The separate Tuesday Value Buy 1 Free 1 covers only three products and only on 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29 September, and KK excludes the whole of Sarawak from it. We read all 50 cards, worked out the price per 100ml and per 100g, and found one big bottle that costs more per millilitre than the small one.

Health Lane Family Pharmacy's Merdeka Mega Sale runs from 21 August to 30 September 2026 across more than 255 outlets, and the booklet on its own site is really three campaigns stacked on top of each other: a gift-with-purchase, a Khind appliance at a purchase-with-purchase price, and a stamp card that started even earlier on 3 August. The headline says up to 70 per cent off. The arithmetic says something more useful. The lunch bag you can get free at RM350 in a single receipt can also be bought for RM9.90 at RM250, and the gap between those two routes is RM100 of extra spending to save RM9.90. The cheapest hook in the whole booklet needs a RM50 basket, not a RM350 one.
Econsave Istimewa 9.9 Ends Today, 9 September: All Twelve Prices, and the Merdeka Catalogue That Expired With Nothing to Replace It
Econsave's Merdeka Bersama catalogue died on 8 September 2026 and, a day later, nothing has replaced it: the promotions page still links five expired PDFs and the chain's media library has not taken an upload since 28 August. What is live instead is Istimewa 9.9, a twelve-offer set that Econsave published only to Facebook and only until 9 September, and Ceria Bersama Si Manja, a 66-prize baby contest that runs to 20 September and is Peninsular Malaysia only. We priced all twelve 9.9 offers per unit — eight of them are multi-buys, not markdowns — and worked the contest's RM42,000 claim out to RM42,758, which only holds because Econsave valued the Sunway Lagoon passes at their RM348 sale rate rather than the RM968 published one.
Village Grocer Opens at Horizon Mall, Iskandar Puteri on 3 September: Buy 1 Free 1, Then a Freebie Every Thursday to 24 September
Village Grocer opens its Horizon Mall store in Iskandar Puteri on Thursday 3 September 2026, and the opening is running four separate offers on the same day: Buy 1 Free 1 on four items, three spend-based freebies from RM100, two more gifts reserved for Bites members from RM30, and a free Lotte Pepero pack for anyone who leaves a Google review in store. We read every slide of the brand's own campaign carousel and the developer's own tenant listing. The freebie dates are not random, they are every Thursday, with one Saturday exception on 12 September when a RM350 fresh-seafood receipt buys you a whole 3kg to 4kg Norwegian salmon. That single item is worth roughly RM196 at the store's own opening-day price, and only 30 are given away.
KLIA Transit to Putrajaya: What a Return Costs Now the Merdeka RM14 Fare Is Gone
ERL's Merdeka RTN fare, which halved KLIA Transit return tickets into Putrajaya & Cyberjaya, expired after 31 August 2026. We re-priced every Putrajaya sector on ERL's own booking engine on 9 September 2026, for a 16 September same-day return, and the engine now returns exactly two products: CIMB Visa Debit RTN at RM19.60 from KL Sentral, and the standard online return at RM25.20, against RM28.00 at the gate. From Bandar Tasik Selatan it is RM11.20 and RM14.40. A MyKad Category A concession reaches the same RM19.60 with no bank card, at 30% off one-way fares. The Visa and Maybank card deals are KLIA Ekspres only, and Group Saver and Family Package do not cover Putrajaya at all. No Malaysia Day fare has been published, and ERL's expired Merdeka offer page is still live on its homepage carousel.
Sunway Lost World Hotel Stay & Play, from RM511: the Ipoh Room That Costs RM51 Once You Count the Tickets
Sunway Lost World Hotel in Ipoh is running a Stay & Play package to 30 September 2026, headlined "from RM511 per night" with theme park and hot springs entrance plus breakfast for two. We re-priced it on the hotel's own booking engine on 7 September 2026, searching 17 of the 23 remaining check-in dates. Every rate is unchanged: the same Exotic room without theme park tickets is RM387 on a Sunday-to-Thursday night, so the two park tickets cost RM124, or RM62 a head against a RM125 MyKad adult gate price. Three things did move. The hotel is closed on the night of Saturday 26 September and the engine refuses any stay covering it. Friday is priced identically to Saturday, not as a weekday. And a Monday check-in cannot be fixed by adding a night, because any stay with a closed Tuesday inside it loses the package.
Petrosains KLCC in September 2026: the RM30 Chakri Palace Voucher, and the Six Days It Costs Least
Four of the five Merdeka offers Petrosains listed ended on 31 August 2026, and the promotions page proves none was extended: every card was published on 12 August and has not been modified since. Alongside it sit three offers with no published end date at all — Oden FAMee at RM4.90 a bowl, the Rasa Kopitiam range with Oriental Kopi, and two new Sofuto flavours. The Harvey Norman Sunshine Central price slash ended on 9 September 2026 as scheduled, and its campaign page is still live and still advertising the dead 27 Aug to 9 Sep dates. Harvey Norman has moved the same store-only format to IOI Mall Kulai in Johor (10-16 September) and to its new Coalfields store in Sungai Buloh (10-23 September). Four model numbers appear on both the Penang and Kulai lists, and we compared every one: Penang was RM300 cheaper on the Philips 50-inch TV, Kulai RM100 cheaper on the HP laptop and RM102 on the Honor X9D, and the Asus Vivobook was RM3,099 in both stores - the same price Harvey Norman charges online nationwide. Penang itself now gets the Malaysia Day Mega Sale (to 16 September) and the Top Brands Mega Clearance (to 30 September) across all five of its Harvey Norman stores.
Sony Malaysia Pays Up to RM4,400 in Touch 'n Go eWallet Credit Until 4 October: Every Model, Every Deadline
Sony Malaysia's Merdeka campaign is not a price cut. It is a redemption, which means you pay the shelf price first and claim Touch 'n Go eWallet credit afterwards by registering the product on My Sony Rewards. Buy between 31 July and 4 October 2026, register by 18 October, and eligible BRAVIA TVs, soundbars, Alpha cameras, headphones and speakers pay back anything from RM20 to RM2,000. The rule almost nobody reads is the doubling clause: put an eligible TV and an eligible soundbar on one receipt and both rewards double, which is how Sony gets to its own RM4,400 headline. Stranger still, a rival brand's TV bought together with a Sony soundbar also doubles the soundbar's reward. Re-read on 8 September 2026, this is no longer the campaign Sony launched: the reissued terms and a rewritten campaign page have doubled the WH-1000XM5 and WF-1000XM6 rewards to RM100, added the WF-1000XM5 and two ULT Towers, quietly dropped ULT Wear, LinkBuds and the INZONE H9 II with no replacement window, and reopened the ZV-E10 on a date Sony's own terms PDF still says does not exist.
Lexis Port Dickson: RM58 Fish Head Feast to 20 Sep, Kidz World Ends 6 Sep, MATTA Vouchers From RM200
Lexis Hotel Group ran two Merdeka offers in Port Dickson, and a week into September only one is still standing. The Grand Merdeka Fish Head Feast at Roselle Coffee House, Grand Lexis Port Dickson, runs to 20 September 2026: a whole fish head in curry or asam pedas with steamed rice, ulam, salted egg and Sago Gula Melaka for RM58 nett, plus five add-ons priced RM10 to RM25. The Kidz World Merdeka Fun Package at Lexis Hibiscus, RM55 nett per child, ends on 6 September with nothing replacing it on the resort's offers index. Neither was ever a room discount — but a third campaign that neither poster mentions is one: Lexis Golden Deals at MATTA Fair sells e-Room Vouchers from RM200 nett, valid a full year with no peak-season surcharge, until 9pm on 6 September. We read both campaign brochures, the MATTA rate card and the group's two terms and conditions PDFs this run, and the details that matter are the ones the posters never say out loud: there are three Lexis resorts in Port Dickson and two of them publish the same street address, three of the group's restaurants are called Roselle Coffee House, the RM50 breakfast voucher saves you nothing at one property, and every Port Dickson stay carries a RM4 a night state levy that is never inside the quoted rate.
Firefly Flights Pay 4% Cashback in TNG eWallet From 1 to 14 September, 2% Until 31 December
TNG Digital and FlyFirefly are running a cashback campaign that most people will only hear about after the best fortnight of it has passed. Buy a Firefly ticket inside the Firefly Mini Program in TNG eWallet and you get 2% back, capped at RM150 a transaction, with no minimum spend. From 1 to 14 September 2026, timed around the National MATTA Fair at MITEC, that rate doubles to 4% and the cap rises to RM300, but it drops to one cashback per user for the whole fortnight. We read TNG Digital's own terms line by line, and three details decide whether this is worth planning around: the entire campaign shares a single RM100,000 cashback pool on a first come, first served basis, split and combined transactions are banned, and the cashback cannot be stacked with any other TNG eWallet promotion or voucher. Both caps happen to bite at exactly the same ticket total, RM7,500, which makes the ringgit math unusually easy to work out in advance.
Burger King Imago Reopens 28 August in Kota Kinabalu: Buy 1 Free 1 Whopper to 11 September, Free Burgers at 11am
Burger King's Imago outlet on the Kota Kinabalu waterfront reopens on Friday 28 August 2026 after a refit, and Burger King Malaysia's own campaign artwork carries four things: a free burger for the first 100 customers at 11am, a Lion Dance and Magunatip performance at 12.30pm, prizes on the day, and a Buy 1 Free 1 Whopper that runs from 28 August all the way to 11 September. The artwork does not print a price for that Whopper deal, and the RM18.90 figure circulating on listing sites is not on it, so we say plainly which numbers came from Burger King and which did not. One number that is confirmed on Burger King's own poster: the Signature Whopper drops from RM16.20 to RM6.90 on 31 August, Merdeka Day, one day only, and Imago is not on the excluded-outlet list. That lands inside the Buy 1 Free 1 window, which makes the last weekend of August the best-value stretch of the whole campaign.
Padini's Merdeka Clearance Is Over: SITEWIDE15 Takes 15% Off Above RM100 Until 30 September 2026
Padini's Merdeka Clearance closed on 31 August 2026. The live offer now is SITEWIDE15, 15% off a minimum spend of RM100, valid 1 to 30 September 2026 — and the banner's fine print excludes B1F1, combo and Deals, which means the clearance rail this page originally covered cannot use it. Re-measured on 8 September, that rail has shrunk from about 2,100 items to 1,373 and its cuts have gone shallower, not deeper: 9.3% to 18.8%, median 15.4%, against 20.4% to 30.3% on 31 August. The entry price did fall, from RM19 to RM13. What survives is School's Out, which runs to a final check-in on Wednesday 16 September 2026 and prices a Deluxe Suite at RM228 nett Sunday to Thursday, RM248 on Fridays and Saturdays, with buffet breakfast for two adults and two children for RM60 more. Underneath it sits a rate the Special Deals page never mentions: a Sunday-to-Thursday Room Only Special Deal at RM200 for a Studio Suite Twin and RM230 for a Junior Suite, RM90 off both, blank on every Friday and Saturday we searched. Genting Highlands Premium Outlets: RM600 of Shopping in a Day Buys a Genting SkyWorlds Ticket, RM200 Buys a Free Cable Car Ride (Till 30 Sep) - Plus Up to 65% Off, 28-30 Aug
Almost everyone who shops at Genting Highlands Premium Outlets pays full price for the theme park afterwards. They should not have to. Five separate centre-level programmes are running at KM13 right now, and only the newest is a tenant sale. The headline one, Premium Outlets x Genting Rewards, runs 1 July to 30 September 2026: earn 6GP in a single day at the outlet and you can pull a Genting SkyWorlds 1-Day Standard Ticket through the RW Genting app, and Genting Rewards pays 1GP for every RM100 spent — so RM600 of shopping in one day returns a ticket that a Malaysian pays RM168 for at the gate, or RM88 booked online a day ahead. Three GP gets a Skytropolis 1-Day Unlimited Ride Pass; two GP gets two Eufloria Gardens tickets. Running underneath it all year, a single RM200 receipt redeems a free cable car return ticket Monday to Thursday, or a free train ride ticket on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and public holidays. The fifth is brand-new and lands this weekend: the outlet's National Day Specials run 28 to 30 August 2026 with savings up to 65% and sixteen named tenant sales, and because those three days are a Friday to Sunday they line up with the free train ride, not the cable car. The catch is that e-wallet payments earn nothing, the card has to be presented at the till, only 65 of the outlet's brands participate, and the Maybank voucher programme sitting alongside these excludes Malaysian-issued cards entirely.

SOGO's Members' Day Sale ended on 6 September 2026 and SOGO has since deleted the campaign page - the URL returns a 404 and the sale is gone from SOGO's own index, which is as close to proof of death as a Malaysian retail promo gets. What is still live, read on 7 September 2026: a Warehouse Deals run at the Ground Floor Centre Atrium of SOGO Kuala Lumpur to 13 September, split into three date bands, with the 7 to 10 September band offering F&N Cordial Syrup 2L at RM7 or an assorted Perfume Inspired 30ml at RM17 on a minimum RM150 purchase; a Luxasia fragrance clearance and an RCB POLO Club deal at the 7th Floor Event Hall, both to 8 September; and four group-wide offers running to 16, 20, 30 September and 31 December. The catch is that the supermarket is excluded, the Easy Payment Plan cancels your bonus points, and one of the gift-with-purchase allocations is already fully redeemed.

At The Mall, Mid Valley Southkey, any foreign passport holder aged 16 and above can walk up to an Information Counter on the Ground Floor and be handed a free Tourist Privilege Card, valid for seven days, that carries flat discounts at more than forty tenants — 20% off normal-priced Bonia, 15% off the à la carte menu at TGI Friday's, 10% off Starbucks food and drinks, 30% off normal-priced diamond jewellery at Tomei, RM300 off a RM6,000 purchase at Diamond & Platinum. Running on top of it until 31 December 2026 is a Maybank Singapore card offer: RM50 in shopping e-vouchers on RM500 of spend, plus a separate RM10 off dining. Re-checked on 4 September 2026: every Merdeka campaign that used to out-price the card has come off the mall's deals page, and of the ten tenants now promoting something, only one — Diamond & Platinum — appears on the card sheet at all. That makes the card worth more this month than it was last.
Queensbay Mall's 'Our Malaysia, Our Pride': RM50 Buys a Kid a Batik Workshop, RM388 Buys a Handkerchief — the Cheapest Rung Is the Best One
Queensbay Mall in Bayan Lepas is running "Our Malaysia, Our Pride", its Merdeka and Malaysia Day 2026 campaign, through to 20 September 2026 — and unlike most mall Merdeka campaigns, this one is not a single spend-and-redeem line. It is a four-rung spend ladder (RM50, RM100, RM288, RM388) sitting on top of a free exhibition, six free cultural performances by Dewan Budaya Universiti Sains Malaysia, and six heritage-craft workshops for children run with the Penang History Gallery. The structure is upside down in a way that works in your favour: the cheapest rung, RM50 in a single receipt, is the one that buys a child a place at a batik, gasing or kah kiak making workshop — something you cannot buy at all elsewhere in the mall — while the top rung, RM388 across a maximum of two same-day receipts, buys a batik handkerchief and does not open until 16 September, four days before the campaign ends. It is also, honestly, a small gift attached to a four-figure purchase — so the more useful question is not whether the towel is worth it, but whether anything else on the same website is. Aman Central in Alor Setar is running "Knot of Harmony", its Merdeka and Malaysia Day 2026 campaign, from 13 August to 20 September 2026 — and on 1 September it changes shape. The free Merdeka Bazaar and the free Unity in Motion dance performances both end on 31 August, and with the bazaar goes the cheaper route to every gift in the campaign: the exclusive tiffin reverts from RM850 of bazaar spend to RM1,500 mall-wide, and the Muhibbah Knotting Workshop on Saturday 5 September reverts from RM200 to RM350. What survives into September is the RM100 tote, the tiffin, the workshop and a short-video contest with RM3,200 spread across 34 cash prizes. The banner says up to RM5; TGV's own promo-code artwork says something more precise, and it is the part worth reading before you get to checkout. There are two separate codes doing two different jobs: GRABPAYTGV3 takes RM3 off when you pay with the GrabPay wallet, and PAYLATERTGV5 takes RM5 off when you pay with PayLater by Grab — a deferred-payment product, not a wallet. Both need a minimum spend of RM40, which a single adult ticket will not reach at most TGV halls. The campaign visual also carries a condition that never appears in the written terms at all: it is exclusive to MovieClub members. What is dead: the tee, the Merdeka Day flag, The Body Shop's tiered discount and TMT's laptop sale. The mall publishes new promos strictly on the 1st and the 15th, so the next batch lands on 15 September 2026.
UNIQLO Malaysia, 10 Sep 2026: the Limited Offer Runs to 2am, Value Buy Jumps to 221 Lines, KAWS Lands 14 Sep
UNIQLO Malaysia's Limited Offer is tagged "4 - 9 September 2026", but the tag's own machine-readable timer runs to 02:00 on 10 September - so the 36 discounted lines survive two hours past the date printed on them, and the same 2am-to-2am shape appears on UNIQLO's brand-new Multi-Buy flag. Two things we reported on 4 September have changed: the Women's Limited Offer page has been fixed and now renders all 16 of its lines (Baby's zero was never a fault - there are no baby lines this window), and Value Buy has grown from 200 lines to 221, with the underwear rail back at RM19.90 instead of the old RM9.90. The new Multi-Buy badge sits on exactly one product in 1,281, with one unit left nationwide and no published terms. Next dated launch: KAWS: UNIVERSE on 14 September 2026, already priced from RM39.90. And the in-store return cliff for August online orders falls on 29 September.

Re-checked against the mall's own Offers and Events page on 3 September 2026, eleven offers that were live in late August are gone — Thai Odyssey's RM69 pair deal, HABIB, TOMEI, LAC, AKEMI, OH!SOME, MUJI, Pandora, Sushi Zanmai and the Kidzooona anniversary card among them — and four of those expired offers are still displayed on the mall's page with their own past end dates printed in the caption. What replaced them is worth the trip: a POPULAR Bookfair on the 3rd floor concourse to 6 September (not on the mall's page at all), Sushi King's free blind-box plushie to 30 September, Thai Odyssey's RM160 cashback on a RM900 package to 30 September, and a Lea Centre stock clearance to 17 September. Big Bad Wolf's Kuching leg at Boulevard Shopping Mall finished at 10pm on 6 September 2026, and the brand's own last post confirmed it was packing up rather than extending. The next Sarawak stop is already dated: Big Bad Wolf Miri, at Boulevard Shopping Mall Miri, 24 September to 4 October 2026, 10am to 10pm, books from RM3 and up to 95 per cent off — published inside the campaign artwork on Big Bad Wolf's own Instagram on 4 September, not in the caption, which is why it was widely reported as "teased, no dates". The Kuching run also settled three things the pre-sale coverage could not. Big Bad Wolf published the stacking rule on the Merdeka poster — the promotions do not stack — and attached an RM90 minimum spend to that 6.9 per cent discount. It ran two mechanics almost nobody wrote down: an RM15 returning voucher and an early-bird voucher giveaway for the first 50 customers. And its own price posts show what "up to 95 per cent" really looks like on a shelf, from 87 per cent off a children's board book down to 20 per cent off the Korean bestseller everyone wanted. MR.DIY's two Merdeka campaigns are finished — Bersama Satu Promosi and the Merdeka Riuh Sale both closed on 31 August 2026 and now sit in the chain's Past Promotions list. Replacing them, both 1 to 30 September 2026, are Jom Beli Barangan Malaysia (the buy-local storewide flyer, 37 priced lines in the Peninsular catalogue) and the Gemilang Toy Fiesta. The RM40 Purchase-With-Purchase survived intact and is still the best value MR.DIY sells: a 1250ml Cold Cup at RM15.90 against a normal RM33. We opened both regional catalogues and read every page. In August the flag section was priced identically nationwide. In September nothing is: every one of the 33 lines that appears in both flyers costs more in Sabah and Sarawak, from RM0.40 to RM3.10 a line, and the two deepest discounts in the campaign — a Farm Fresh buy 1 free 1 and Indomie at 28 per cent off — are not offered in Borneo at all.

Black pomfret drops from RM11.90 to RM6.90 a piece, a Samsung 55-inch 4K AI TV drops RM1,200, and three electrical lines are priced for AEON members only, with non-member prices printed right beside them — the Tefal combo alone swings RM590 on whether you scanned an app at the till. But not every line on the catalogue is a discount: one bundle saves you RM1.60 across four items, and one protein is cut by ten sen. What follows is the record of what the sale actually was, and what is still bookable on airasia.com today. AirAsia ran it like this: book by 23 August 2026 and travel any time from 24 August 2026 right through to 31 March 2027 — a seven-month window that covers the Merdeka long weekend, the year-end school holidays, Chinese New Year and the March break. There was no promo code published. But the asterisk on AirAsia's own campaign banner did a lot of quiet work: the discount applied to the one-way base fare on selected routes only, which is not the same thing as 10% off the number you pay at checkout. Twenty winners take an RM5,000 Malaysia Airlines gift card each, RM100,000 in total, but the cards are good for domestic flights only. The other half is the ordinary discount stack running alongside it: 25% off a first Dine Out visit with no cap, RM12 off RM50 on GrabFood Hot Deals from Wednesday to Sunday, tiered Group Order discounts up to 15%, RM69 off RM300 on GrabMart — one date left, 14 September — RM35 off RM200 on PayLater, and GrabUnlimited at RM1.50 a month. Two things did get better — breakfast now names a headcount, and the welcome surprise is itemised. One thing got worse: Malaysia Day 2026 falls on a Wednesday, so unlike August there is no long weekend inside the window at all.

It is a campaign built out of a dozen separate offers with a dozen separate end dates — here is which ones are worth the drive up, and which ones quietly are not.

Setel — PETRONAS's fuel-and-pay app — has pushed its QR payment outside the petrol station for Merdeka. Spend RM100 or more in a single transaction at Mydin, AEON BiG or Lotus's and pay with the Setel QR, and RM6.90 lands back in your Setel Wallet automatically. The number is a nod to Malaysia's 69th year of independence, and the campaign runs from 15 August to 30 September 2026. Three details decide whether you actually get it: DuitNow QR does not count even when you scan it inside the Setel app, Lotus's only qualifies at self-checkout counters, and the whole campaign is capped at 5,910 redemptions nationwide on a first-come, first-served basis — one per user ID, for the entire six weeks.
Berjaya's 69th Merdeka Specials: Langkawi From RM450+ To 16 Sep, Island Extra 10% Ends 31 Aug
Berjaya Hotels & Resorts has put its Merdeka campaign on the island properties this year, and the numbers are worth reading properly. Berjaya Langkawi Resort has a named package, Celebrate Malaysia in Nature, from RM450+ room-only and RM470+ with breakfast, bookable right through to 16 September. The three east-coast island resorts — The Taaras, Redang Island Resort and Berjaya Tioman — get an additional up to 10% off on top of existing promotional rates, each with a one-time RM69 dining discount attached. The catch is in the dates: the campaign header, the individual property cards and the Langkawi offer page print three different sets of deadlines, and the Langkawi package is fully prepaid and non-refundable 14 days out. Re-checked 31 August 2026 — the extra-10% mechanic closes tonight with no extension published, but Berjaya Tioman has already replaced it with an End-of-Season Sale at up to 35% off Best Available Rates for September and October stays, and Redang Island Resort now publishes a straight RM394 nett per person two-night package.

Working on Malaysia Day 2026: What the Employment Act Pays You, and the RM4,000 Line That Switches It Off
Malaysia Day falls on Wednesday 16 September 2026, and it is one of only five public holidays the Employment Act 1955 makes compulsory by name. If your employer requires you to work that day, section 60D(3) says you get your holiday pay plus two days' wages at the ordinary rate, and it applies even if you work one hour. Overtime beyond your normal hours on that day is at least three times your hourly rate. But the First Schedule to the same Act switches section 60D(3) off entirely for anyone whose wages exceed four thousand ringgit a month, unless they fall into one of five listed categories, and the Act does not extend to Sabah or Sarawak at all. Putrajaya's Parks and Sports Facilities 2026: The Netball Court Is Free, the Football Field at Night Is RM200
Perbadanan Putrajaya publishes an hourly rate card for its Taman Pancarona sports complex, and it settles a question most Klang Valley councils never answer in public. A sepak takraw court is RM2 an hour in daylight. A netball field is free, all day, every day, with no night rate at all because there are no lights. A football field is RM70 in the day, RM140 at night and RM200 on a public holiday night, which is nearly three times the daytime price. We also read the opening hours of six Putrajaya parks on 10 September 2026 and found one that closes every Monday and shuts for lunch on the days it does open, and one that Perbadanan Putrajaya lists as a public park but Google has no venue record for at all.
Sate Kajang and the Klang Valley's Satay Shops 2026: What a Stick Really Costs, and the Rest Day Nobody Warns You About
Kajang is where Malaysians drive for satay, but almost nobody checks the price before they sit down. We read eight Klang Valley satay operators' own channels on 10 September 2026 and found a chicken stick costs RM1.70 at Sate Kajang Hj Samuri and RM2.00 at Satay Putera Kajang two kilometres away, a 30 sen gap that inverts on mutton, where Putera is the cheaper of the two. The drinks gap is wider than the satay gap: Hj Samuri's cheapest glass is RM2.30 and every drink at Putera is RM5.90. Five of the eight close one day a week, on three different days, and one of them closes on Wednesdays, which is Malaysia Day this year. Only one Hj Samuri branch out of sixteen is actually in Kajang, and six are highway rest stops.
