> Quick view: Dunlopillo's Merdeka Sale at Suite Melaka ended on 31 August 2026. Its successor is the September Special, running 1–30 September 2026 at Dunlopillo Suite Melaka and three sister outlets. The headline deal, a Buy 1 Free 1 CoolSilk 2.0 Cool Comfy mattress for RM6,199 (normal price RM10,999), is also sold at the same price on dunlopillo.com.my with free shipping in West Malaysia.

What changed since August

The Merdeka Sale this page originally covered (bedframe-and-mattress sets from RM1,399, bedframes from RM299 and pillows from RM25) ran from 10 to 31 August 2026 and is over. It was not a one-off: Suite Melaka has now run three named campaigns this year. A Raya Sale at Suite Seremban and Suite Melaka ran to 31 March 2026 with Buy 1 Free 2 and an RM99 bedframe purchase-with-purchase, the Merdeka Sale followed in August, and the September Special took over on 1 September.

The September Special at Suite Melaka

Dunlopillo Suite's own September Special poster leads with one product: the CoolSilk 2.0 Nano-G Cool Comfy, Buy 1 Free 1, advertised at RM516.60 a month for 12 months against a normal price of RM10,999. Twelve payments of RM516.60 come to RM6,199.20, which is the same RM6,199 Dunlopillo charges for the identical bundle on its own online store. The monthly figure is the full price spread over a year, not a deposit.

The campaign listing that reproduces the Suite poster, published on 7 September, names more mechanics but prices none of them:

  • Buy 1 Free 2, without saying which models qualify
  • Bedsets from "RM1,XXX", with the exact figure masked, so ask the outlet
  • An additional 30% off
  • Purchase-with-purchase deals and a lucky draw for a massage chair
  • Free delivery, free disposal of your old mattress, and 0% interest instalments

The participating outlets are Dunlopillo Suite Melaka, Suite Seremban, Suite Sunway Carnival Mall in Seberang Jaya, Penang, and the Sleep Gallery in Shah Alam. Dunlopillo's three Johor Suites (AEON Bukit Indah, Taman Molek and Sutera) are not named on the September Special, so don't assume the Melaka offer carries across to Johor Bahru.

Worked prices

  • Two beds for RM6,199. The Cool Comfy bundle works out to RM3,099.50 per mattress, RM4,800 (43.6%) under the RM10,999 normal price.
  • King + King costs the same as Queen + Queen. The online size menu offers Queen free Queen, King free Queen and King free King, all at RM6,199 with no surcharge shown. If you can use two king beds, that is the best-value configuration; confirm the size in the cart or with the outlet.
  • The instalment is not a discount. RM516.60 × 12 = RM6,199.20, 20 sen above the one-off online price.
  • The sister model costs RM400 more. Dunlopillo's 9.9 Biggest Sale page, whose banner is dated 1–13 September, carries the CoolSilk 2.0 Cool Comfort, also Buy 1 Free 1 from RM10,999, at RM6,599.

Cool Comfy or Cool Comfort?

Both mattresses use natural Dunlop latex over high-resilience foam, a 3-zone ActivEdge pocketed-spring unit and the imported CoolSilk 2.0 Nano-G cooling fabric. What separates them is the top layer, the height and the firmness. The Cool Comfy is a 30cm Euro top rated 5 (medium) on Dunlopillo's scale and comes with four Sleep Well Pillows. The Cool Comfort is a 33cm pillow top rated 8 (firm) and comes with four NeckCare Contour Pillows, which Dunlopillo sells singly at RM149 in the same 9.9 sale, so that gift alone is worth RM596 at sale prices, more than the RM400 gap.

Choose on firmness rather than the free pillows: a medium 5 and a firm 8 feel very different, and Suite Melaka is the place to lie on both before you pay.

Buy in Melaka or online?

Buying on dunlopillo.com.my gets you the same RM6,199 with RM0 shipping in West Malaysia. Dunlopillo's shipping policy says mattresses are delivered only in Peninsular Malaysia, within 14 to 21 business days, Monday to Friday 9am–8pm with limited Saturday slots; you must inspect the mattress on delivery, and a missed appointment costs extra. The online policy says nothing about taking away your old mattress.

Buying at Suite Melaka gets you a test lie-down, free disposal of the old mattress, the 0% instalment plan, and the in-store layers the listing names (Buy 1 Free 2, the bedsets, the extra 30% and the lucky draw).

Who should skip: if you need only one mattress, Buy 1 Free 1 doesn't help. The RM3,099.50-per-bed figure only counts if the second mattress replaces one you would otherwise buy. Ask the Suite whether the additional 30% off applies to a single mattress instead.

Where

Dunlopillo Suite Melaka, 12, Jalan KPKS1, Kompleks Perniagaan Kota Syahbandar, 75200 Melaka. It opens 10:30am–8:30pm, Monday to Sunday, according to Dunlopillo's own outlet list, and the official line is 010-225 8398 (the September poster also lists Afi on 018-226 5185). It is a standalone showroom in the Kota Syahbandar commercial area, not a mall counter.

The nearest other outlet on the September Special is Dunlopillo Suite Seremban, 212-G & 212-1, Jalan S2 B23, Pusat Dagangan Seremban, 70300 Seremban, on 06-775 1588, also open 10:30am–8:30pm daily.

The fine print

  • The poster says "Terms & conditions apply", but no T&C is published online, and neither the lucky draw's qualifying spend nor the Buy 1 Free 2 models are stated anywhere.
  • The online Cool Comfy listing carries no countdown or end date, so the RM6,199 price can change without notice even though the in-store campaign runs to 30 September.
  • The staff names on Suite Melaka's posters change from campaign to campaign (the March listing named different contacts), so use the official 010-225 8398 if a poster number doesn't answer.
