What's launching

HLB has added a Marvel tie-in to its card line-up with three limited-edition designs built around Spider-Man: Brand New Day:

  • The HLB Sutera Platinum Credit Card x Spider-Man: Brand New Day — the bank's rewards-points credit card in a collectible Spider-Man design.
  • Two limited-edition debit card designs for everyday spending.

They're collector-friendly cards for Spider-Man fans, released while the film is in cinemas.

  • Credit card: open for application from 18 August 2026, online and at HLB branches nationwide, while limited stocks last.
  • Debit cards: available at HLB branches nationwide from 2 September 2026, also in limited quantities.
  • Campaign period: the wider promotion runs through 31 December 2026.

How to get one

  • New applicants: apply online or at any HLB branch from the dates above.
  • Existing HLB cardholders: you can refresh your current card to the limited-edition Spider-Man design for a small fee — check with the bank for the exact amount.
  • No income documents? HLB is offering new principal credit card applicants a route without income documents by placing a minimum of RM8,000 in a Fixed Deposit (FD) or eFD account — and those who qualify receive a limited-edition HLB x Spider-Man: Brand New Day umbrella, subject to terms and conditions.

  • Limited availability — the designs are released in limited numbers, so fans keen on a specific card shouldn't leave it too late.
