Sabah has two rafting rivers an easy day from Kota Kinabalu: the gentle Kiulu (Grade 1-2, from age 5) and the Padas (Grade 3-4, from age 12), reached by the old Sabah State Railway. We read six operators' own 2026 rate cards on 14 October. Kiulu runs RM135 to RM350 a head and Padas RM235 to RM480, and the gap is mostly transfers, lunch, insurance and group size, since most agencies send you to the same Riverbug base camp.
