The Chicken Rice Shop Chicken Rice Day: RM1.80 Quarter Chicken on the 18th — Next One Is Wednesday 18 November 2026
The Chicken Rice Shop runs a promotion almost nobody talks about: on the 18th of every month, one quarter chicken costs RM1.80, service charge and SST included. October's Sunday round has passed, the next is Wednesday 18 November 2026, and we re-checked the brand's promotions page on 20 October 2026 to confirm it is still live. Here is how to claim it, the line in the fine print that contradicts the marketing copy, and why a weekday date brings the old trade-off back: the RM10.90 Good Lunch, RM7 Good Tea Time and RM19.90 Dinner Picks sets all run on a Wednesday and each one excludes the RM1.80 chicken, so you have to pick. We also cover the new Deepavali Ayam Bawang Amma sets that replaced the Merdeka combo.
