Grand Lexis Port Dickson's Merdeka Fish Head Feast: RM58 Nett, Curry or Asam Pedas, Until 20 September
Most Merdeka F&B campaigns are a discount bolted onto an existing menu. This one is a dish: a whole fish head, cooked curry or asam pedas, at RM58 nett — and the resort's own brochure confirms that price already carries steamed rice, ulam, salted egg and a Sago Gula Melaka, with SST inside. It runs at Roselle Coffee House in Port Dickson from 17 August to 20 September 2026. The Merdeka long weekend it was built around has been and gone; what we re-verified on 6 September is the fortnight that remains, which holds two weekends, one public holiday — Malaysia Day on Wednesday 16 September — and a closing day that falls on a Sunday. We read Grand Lexis Port Dickson's own offer page and its downloadable brochure to price the add-ons, work out what it costs per head at three different table sizes, and flag the one line on the menu that repeats itself.

8 Best Fish Head Noodle & Fish Head Curry Spots in KL & PJ (2026)
From the century-old shophouse trade of Jalan Kamunting to the Damansara Kim street that just lost half its rivalry, here are eight currently-operating Klang Valley specialists built around the fish head: noodle soup, XO-fried noodles, steaming bee hoon and thick, buttery curry, across Pudu, Chow Kit, Sri Petaling, Section 19 PJ, Old Klang Road, Taman Paramount and Bandar Utama. We re-read every listing on 7 September 2026 — three of the eight have a fixed rest day, no two on the same weekday, and Mr Fish has closed three outlets since our last check.
