Starbucks Malaysia RM80 Card Activation, October 2026: Free Grande + 28% Off Your Next One, Use It Within 7 Days
September's RM80 card offer (free Grande + 2 Grande for RM16.90) ended on 30 September 2026. From 1 October Starbucks Malaysia's "Activate. Sip. Save" gives a free Grande handcrafted drink plus a 28% off reward on your next Grande for an RM80 activation in one transaction. The RM80 stays on the card. This time Starbucks published the terms: the reward lapses 7 days after issuance, excludes promo and MOLLY drinks, and cannot be stacked. On a latte it is worth about RM9 less than September's, and any 7-day window contains a Thursday RM10 Grande and a weekend-morning 50% off that beat the 28%.
CIMB eFD October 2026 Campaign: Up to 3.83% p.a. for 15 Months From RM1,000, Open Until 3 November
September's CIMB eFD campaign closed on 30 September and the October round replaced it the day before. It is better at the long end: 3.83% p.a. for 15 months and 3.80% for 12 months on a conventional eFD, 3.70% on a 7-month Islamic eFD-i and 3.40% for 3 months, from a single RM1,000 placement made online by 3 November 2026. The 6-month tenure is gone, and for six months Hong Leong's 4.05% (to 12 October, fresh funds only) is the higher number.
