Rapid KL Travel Passes 2026: Six Passes, Two Concession Cards, and Why the Same 30 Days Costs RM50 or RM150
Prasarana has rebranded its Rapid travel passes under a single set of Malay names, and most Klang Valley commuters still only know one of them. There are now six: My50 at RM50 a month for Malaysians, Rapid Bulanan at RM150 a month for everyone else, Rapid Kota at RM10 a day, Rapid Kembara at RM25 a day with more than 30 partner discounts, Rapid Keluarga at RM30 for four people on a weekend, and Rapid Mesra, which is free for registered Malaysian OKU cardholders. Two more Rapid products sit outside that list and answer a different question: Rapid Pelajar and Rapid Emas are concession cards giving Malaysian students and over-60s 50 per cent off every cash fare, which beats a monthly pass outright if you only travel a few days a week. Every price excludes the Touch n Go card and assumes RM5 already sitting in the purse.
