> Quick view (23 Oct 2026): Big Bad Wolf Seremban ended on 26 July 2026, and the Miri leg that followed closed on 4 October. The next Big Bad Wolf in Malaysia is Kota Kinabalu, SICC, 30 October to 9 November 2026; nothing is announced for the peninsula. If you are in Negeri Sembilan and want cheap books now, the one big sale inside the state is POPULAR's Annual Clearance (23 October to 9 November), and only AEON Mall Nilai takes part. Otherwise: POPULAR's October WOW! prices at any branch, BookXcess at Tamarind Square in Cyberjaya, or, for secondary students, the RM100 MADANI voucher spent online by 31 October.

Is Big Bad Wolf still in Seremban?

No. Seremban had two back-to-back legs in July 2026 and both have closed:

  • Terminal 1 Shopping Centre, Seremban: 2 to 13 July 2026, 10am to 10pm, free admission. Closed 13 July.
  • Seremban Prima Mall, Lot 4973, Jalan Dato Bandar Tunggal, Seremban: 16 to 26 July 2026, same hours, free admission. Closed 26 July.

The brand's corporate events page for Seremban, published 22 June 2026, only ever described the Terminal 1 leg. The Prima Mall run was announced separately on Big Bad Wolf's Facebook as an extended sale, which is why some listings still show Seremban as a single 2 to 13 July event. It was not: Seremban got 23 selling days across two malls, against 13 for Kuching.

How the Seremban sale worked, for the record

Big Bad Wolf's own Seremban page promised books from RM3, thousands of English titles, special marked-down prices on bestsellers on opening day (2 July), and a chance to win a gold bar. Its Facebook added an early-bird free cash voucher giveaway at Terminal 1, while stocks lasted; the value per voucher was not published.

The extended Prima Mall leg kept the gold bar draw and changed how you earned entries:

  • RM90 or more on a single receipt earned triple Lucky Draw entries instead of one. Two receipts of RM50 did not qualify.
  • Weekday Happy Hour deals ran on top of the sale price. Big Bad Wolf never published the Happy Hour times or the extra percentage for this leg.

What RM90 actually meant at the till: 30 books at the RM3 floor, or six children's or paperback titles in the RM15 range, or two new-release hardbacks at the shallow end of the discount. The practical trap is the Happy Hour discount itself. A basket that rings up at RM95 before an extra cut can drop under RM90 after it, which costs you two of your three entries. If you were near the line, it was worth adding one more RM3 book.

Where the tour went after Seremban

Big Bad Wolf's corporate events index now lists eight Malaysian legs for 2026:

  • Johor Bahru and Ipoh, earlier in the year.
  • Seremban, 2 to 26 July (above).
  • Kota Bharu, Kelantan: Mydin Mall Tunjong, 23 July to 2 August.
  • Alor Setar, Kedah: Stadium Sultan Abdul Halim, 30 July to 9 August.
  • Kuching, Sarawak: Boulevard Shopping Mall, 25 August to 6 September.
  • Miri, Sarawak: Level R, Boulevard Shopping Mall Miri, 24 September to 4 October.
  • Kota Kinabalu, Sabah (next): Annex B, Sabah International Convention Centre, 30 October to 9 November 2026, 10am to 10pm, free admission.

The Sabah page, posted on 12 October, lists early-bird vouchers, RM15 off for returning customers, an instant cash rebate, daily title promotions, 5% off for students, educators and Sabah library members, and a 10g gold bar lucky draw. It does not publish the RM thresholds for any of them.

What this means for a Seremban reader: Kota Kinabalu is a flight, not a drive. The date worth watching is December. Big Bad Wolf's last Klang Valley fair ran at Sunway Pyramid Convention Centre from 19 December 2025 to 4 January 2026, straight after a Kota Kinabalu edition, open until 2am. As at 23 October 2026 no Klang Valley date has been announced for this year, so treat December as a pattern to watch, not a plan.

Where to buy discounted books in Negeri Sembilan right now

POPULAR, three stores in the state. POPULAR's own store locator lists:

  • AEON Mall Seremban 2: F03, First Floor, 112 Persiaran S2 B1, Seremban 2. Sunday to Thursday 10am to 10pm, Friday and Saturday to 10.30pm.
  • AEON Mall Nilai: F10, First Floor, No 2 Persiaran Pusat Bandar, Putra Nilai. Same hours as Seremban 2.
  • 9 Avenue Nilai: A21 and A22, 1st Floor, Bandar Baru Nilai. Daily 10am to 10pm. POPULAR notes Chinese books are not available at this branch.

Only one of the three is in the Annual Clearance. POPULAR's Annual Clearance runs 23 October to 9 November 2026 at 56 POPULAR and HARRIS stores: rebates of up to 50% for everyone and up to 90% for members on selected items, with a minimum spend of RM10. The outlet list on POPULAR's own flyer names only AEON Mall Nilai for Negeri Sembilan. AEON Mall Seremban 2 and 9 Avenue Nilai are not on it, so a Seremban reader who wants the clearance prices has to go to Nilai. The same flyer adds a Snoopy 5-ply tissue pack at RM8 nett (usual RM16.90) for the first 10,000 customers with any purchase, and two purchase-with-purchase items, a POP Bazic coffee mug at RM25 nett and a Micropack wireless mouse at RM35 nett, once you spend RM60 nett.

What every branch has, Seremban 2 included. The WOW! Deals list runs at all POPULAR and HARRIS stores and POPULAR Online until 31 October, with any purchase of RM10 and above. October's Book of the Month, the *Girl in Pieces* deluxe edition by Kathleen Glasgow, is RM29 nett from RM49.95, and the Malay title *Surat Cinta dari Tuhan* is RM45 nett from RM60.

Member's Syok Giler Treats (2 October to 1 November, all bookstores) gives 30% off regular-priced books and 40% off selected stationery, but only on the same day you sign up for or renew the RM25 three-year Privilege Card. Text books, assessment books, nett-priced and promotional items are excluded. The card pays for itself at about RM84 of regular-priced books in that one visit (RM25 divided by 30%). Four RM40 novels come to RM160, save RM48, and leave you RM23 ahead after the card fee.

None of this reaches a 95% warehouse price, but POPULAR is the better bet for Chinese-language and Bahasa Malaysia titles, which Big Bad Wolf barely stocks.

BookXcess, Tamarind Square, Cyberjaya. Big Bad Wolf's sister brand runs a permanent store at L3M-04, Tamarind Square, Persiaran Multimedia, Cyber 10, Cyberjaya, phone 03-2726 2438, open 10am to 10pm daily by BookXcess's own store page; older guides still describe it as 24-hour. From Seremban it is roughly 50 km up the North-South Expressway. This is the closest you can get to Big Bad Wolf-style remainder pricing on a normal weekend.

The RM100 MADANI book voucher, for students only. If there is a secondary student in the house, this is the most valuable book deal available today. The rules, from BookXcess's own redemption guide:

  1. Eligible: KPM secondary students from Remove Class to Form 6, plus vocational college, matriculation and teacher-training institute students.
  2. Log in at delima.bookcapital.com.my with the student's DELIMa ID; the RM100 appears on the dashboard.
  3. Put at least one Judul Khas (Special Titles) book in the basket first. It is compulsory.
  4. Fill the rest with Big Bad Wolf or BookXcess stock on Book Capital and check out once. Any unspent balance is forfeited.
  5. Deadline: 31 October 2026, eight days away as at 23 October.

It is not accepted at physical BookXcess stores or at any Big Bad Wolf fair, so do not carry it to Tamarind Square. Big Bad Wolf is also running a prize campaign around the voucher on its Instagram until 31 October, with terms and conditions it says apply.

Who should wait for the next Big Bad Wolf, and who should buy now

Wait if you buy in bulk for a school, tuition centre or a fast-reading child, since the RM3 to RM10 floor at a live fair beats every option above. Big Bad Wolf came to Seremban in July 2026 but has not said whether it returns next year; a December Klang Valley fair, if one is announced, is the nearest realistic chance.

Buy now if you want a specific new title, Chinese or Malay-language books. Use POPULAR AEON Mall Nilai for the clearance before 9 November, any POPULAR branch for the WOW! prices before 31 October, and BookXcess Cyberjaya for English remainders.

How to catch the next Negeri Sembilan leg

  • Follow Big Bad Wolf on Instagram first. New stops appear there before the website, and the dates are often only in the poster or video artwork, not the caption.
  • Treat bigbadwolfbooks.com/blogs/events as confirmation. Its Kuching page went up after that sale had already opened.
  • Watch for "extended" posts near the closing weekend. Seremban was extended by a second mall; Kuching closed on schedule.
