> Quick view: CARiNG Pharmacy's Trinity Hub outlet in Kuching is open and permanent, trading daily 7.30am–9pm. It ran two separate opening campaigns — a soft-opening promo (15 June – 31 July 2026) and a Grand Opening with lion dance and free health screening (28 August – 6 September 2026) — and both have ended. What is still usable at this outlet in September 2026 is CARiNG's chainwide Purchase With Purchase deal and the free Green Blender Set.

Both opening campaigns have ended

If you came here for the Trinity Hub opening deals, the honest answer is that you have missed them — twice. CARiNG ran this outlet's opening in two stages, several weeks apart, and most listings only ever mention the first.

  • Soft-opening promo — 15 June to 31 July 2026. CARiNG's own campaign banner for the outlet carries it in the terms: "Promotion only valid in CARiNG Pharmacy Trinity Hub, Kuching… RM5 Discount Coupon and promotion valid till 31 July 2026 or while stock last." CARiNG's Facebook announcement says the same — "We are now open! … Opening Promo: 15 June – 31 July."
  • Grand Opening — 28 August to 6 September 2026. A separate, larger campaign with its own banner on caring2u.com, built around a three-day event on 28–30 August.

An earlier version of this article carried 31 August 2026 as the end date, taken from third-party listings that circulated a longer window. That was wrong for the soft-opening promo, and it is corrected here.

What the soft-opening promo was

Worth recording, because CARiNG reuses this template at every new outlet, and knowing the mechanics tells you what to expect at the next opening:

  • 3X CARiNG Points — for CARiNG members, on any storewide purchase
  • RM5 discount coupon — for new members only, issued with a minimum spend of RM30, and redeemable on your next purchase, not the one that earned it
  • Free mystery gift — for CARiNG members, on any storewide purchase, while stocks lasted
  • Review and get rewarded — a free gift for leaving a Google review of the outlet
  • Free ice-cream — CARiNG members, any storewide purchase, on 20–21 June 2026 only

The Grand Opening most people missed

This is the part no aggregator picked up, and it was the better of the two. From CARiNG's own Grand Opening banner:

  • Lion dance and free angpao — Saturday 29 August 2026, 12pm
  • Spin & Win — one spin per receipt with a purchase of RM50 or above, 28–30 August, 9am–3pm
  • Free Hainan coffee — any storewide purchase, one cup per receipt, 28–30 August, 9am–3pm
  • Siam Flower Rice 1kg for RM1 — with a minimum spend of RM80 in a single receipt, 28 August – 6 September
  • Free RM5 discount coupon — on joining as a CARiNG member
  • Gifts with purchase — Welcome Goodies at RM50 and a CARiNG umbrella at RM300 (both 28–30 August), and a 3-in-1 airtight bowl set at RM150 (4–6 September)
  • Health Awareness Day, 28–30 August, 9am–3pm — free blood pressure and glucose tests, plus a free total cholesterol test and a free vitamin D screening, each with a purchase of RM100 or above in a single receipt

The outlet also ran a free bone density test on 17 August 2026, announced only on Facebook.

The lesson worth keeping is this: CARiNG's "we are now open" promo is not the main event. The Grand Opening lands weeks later, is announced mainly on the outlet's own Facebook page rather than the chain's promotions index, and carries the free food, the health screening and the RM1 loss-leader.

The outlet itself, which is the lasting part

The promotions were temporary; the pharmacy is not.

The 7.30am opening is the detail worth noting. That is early for a Malaysian pharmacy chain and makes Trinity Hub a genuinely useful stop on a morning run — a prescription refill or a thermometer before work, rather than a lunchtime detour.

One practical warning: Trinity Hub is not on CARiNG's online store locator. As at September 2026 the locator lists twelve CARiNG outlets with Kuching addresses — Vivacity Megamall on two floors, Saradise, Farley, Song Plaza, Jalan Satok, Aeroville, Kota Sentosa 7th Mile, 3rd Mile Bazaar, and the Emart branches at Matang, Tabuan Jaya and Batu Kawa — and Trinity Hub is not among them. The outlet is trading: Google's business listing shows it open with the hours above, and CARiNG held its own Grand Opening there in late August. Treat the gap as a listing that has not caught up rather than a closure, and phone the number above if you want to confirm before driving over.

What is actually live at Trinity Hub in September 2026

These are chain promotions, so they apply at Trinity Hub as at any other CARiNG branch:

  • Purchase With Purchase — 2 to 22 September 2026. Spend a minimum of RM1 storewide and you can buy up to 6 units of the listed items at set prices, while stocks last. The sharpest cuts are Bio-Oil Dry Skin Gel 50ml at RM15.00 (normal price RM23.90) and Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser 118ml at RM17.90 (normal RM28.50) — roughly RM9 to RM11 off each. Also on the list: Strepsils 12s at RM9.90, Vicks Inhaler 0.5ml at RM6.30, Seven Seas Multi Syrup Cod Liver Oil 100ml at RM17.90, Redoxon Effervescent C + Calcium D3 + B6 10s at RM19.90, and Oriental White Coffee Classic 38g × 3 at RM4.90.
  • Free Green Blender Set, worth RM120 — 1 August to 30 September 2026. Buy a set number of tins of selected growing-up formula within the window, register in the CARiNG app, collect eStamps and redeem. The threshold varies by product: 3 units for Lang Bragman Infapro Plant Milk 700g or Enfagrow A+ Mindpro C-Biome 1.425kg, 4 for Friso Gold Step 3/4, Similac Total Comfort or Snow Neo Kid Plus 900g, 5 for Nutren Junior 800g or Pediasure 10+ 800g, and 8 for Morinaga Chil-Kid Step 3/4 700g.
  • App coupons — several running 2 to 22 September 2026. CARiNG's coupon page currently lists discounts on Lamiux (RM100 and above), BZU BZU (RM60 and above), selected Ezerra products (RM80 and above) and Hegen (RM150 and above), among others.
  • Exclusive Member Rewards — to 31 December 2026. Flash the CARiNG app for 15% off Starbucks food and drink on a minimum spend of RM30, a free comprehensive eye examination worth RM125 at Malaya Optical, 40% off Farm In The City, 10% off Vanilla Crepe, and 15% off GL Play tickets with the code CARING15.

If you are signing up now, new users get 200 CARiNG Points on downloading the app and membership is free for life. That is the nearest replacement for the RM5 new-member coupon you missed.

What a Kuching shopper should ignore this month

Two of the six promotions on CARiNG's front page do not apply here, and neither says so plainly:

  • Mom & Cutie Carnival, 19–20 September 2026 — the banner puts it at Majestic Labs, Semenyih, in Selangor. It is a children's carnival with a tote bag for an RM5 spend and gifts with purchase from RM80, but it is a flight away from Kuching.
  • Air Asia Boarding Pass Privilege — despite sitting on CARiNG's own promotions page, this one is Penang-only, redeemable at selected Georgetown Pharmacy and Wellings Pharmacy branches (sister chains in the same group), and its terms restrict it to non-Malaysian passport holders holding an AirAsia boarding pass. It is not usable at a CARiNG outlet, and not in Sarawak.

The Member Rewards deserve a second look too: of the five partners, only Starbucks has a meaningful presence in Kuching. Malaya Optical, Vanilla Crepe, Farm In The City and GL Play's parks are all in the Klang Valley or elsewhere in the peninsula.

How to catch the next opening promo

CARiNG announces each new outlet on its Facebook page and posts a matching banner under Promotion → Best Deal on caring2u.com, with the validity dates printed in the terms at the foot of the banner.

The live example as of September 2026 is Horizon Mall, Iskandar Puteri, whose soft-opening promo runs 3 September to 30 October 2026 — the same template as Trinity Hub's, though the details shift from outlet to outlet. At Horizon Mall the RM5 coupon comes simply on joining as a member, with no RM30 threshold; the mystery gift needs an RM10 spend; and the free ice-cream ran across 3–6 September rather than on two fixed days. The window is roughly six to eight weeks from opening.

Two things are worth doing if an outlet is opening near you. Hold off joining CARiNG until then, because the RM5 coupon is aimed at new members. And follow the individual outlet's Facebook page, not just the chain's — that is where the Grand Opening, the lion dance date and the one-off health screenings get posted, and it is why Trinity Hub's best week went almost entirely unreported.
