How much is the CHAGEE group order discount?

It depends on the number of cups in one order: 10% off for 20 to 50 cups (Express), 15% off for 51 to 100 cups (Silver) and 20% off for 101 cups and above (Gold). The minimum order is 20 cups. If you need 49 or 50 cups, ordering 51 costs less because the whole order drops to 15% off.

How do I place a CHAGEE group order in Malaysia?

Message CHAGEE on WhatsApp through the Linktree in the @my.chagee Instagram bio, with your date, time, address and drinks. Book at least 3 working days ahead, not counting weekends and public holidays. Orders through the CHAGEE app or delivery apps such as GrabFood and foodpanda do not get the group discount.

Is CHAGEE group order delivery free?

CHAGEE is the Yunnan-born tea chain behind the Bo-Ya Jasmine Green Milk Tea, and in Malaysia it has become a common pick for office treats and event tea stations. Until now, a big order meant someone queuing at the counter or splitting it across several delivery-app baskets. On 23 September 2026 the brand's Malaysian Instagram account set out a formal Group Order scheme with published discount tiers.

How the Group Order works

Count your cups. The minimum is 20. The tier is set by the total number of cups in one order.
Match the tier. Express is 20 to 50 cups at 10% off. Silver is 51 to 100 cups at 15% off. Gold is 101 cups and above at 20% off.
WhatsApp CHAGEE. The number sits in the Linktree on the @my.chagee Instagram bio. Send the date, time, address, drinks and quantities, and the team will confirm which outlet fulfils it.
Book early. CHAGEE asks for at least 3 working days' notice, excluding weekends and public holidays. For a Monday event, that means messaging by the Wednesday before.
Receive it boxed. Orders come in CHAGEE's group-order box packaging with Tea Lucky Cards. Packaging and delivery cost nothing on orders fulfilled up to 18 October 2026.

The cup-count trap: sometimes more cups cost less

Because the discount jumps at 51 and 101 cups, and applies to the whole order, the tier boundaries create a dead zone where adding cups lowers the bill. This maths works at any menu price, because every cup is discounted at the same rate.

CHAGEE does not list drink prices on its Malaysian website, so confirm the per-cup price in your WhatsApp quote. For the examples below we use RM14 a cup as a round figure.

20 cups (Express, 10% off): RM280 becomes RM252, saving RM28.
50 cups (Express, 10% off): RM700 becomes RM630.
51 cups (Silver, 15% off): RM714 becomes RM606.90. That is RM23.10 less than 50 cups, with one more drink.
100 cups (Silver, 15% off): RM1,400 becomes RM1,190.
101 cups (Gold, 20% off): RM1,414 becomes RM1,131.20. That is RM58.80 less than 100 cups.

The rule of thumb: if you need 49 or 50 cups, order 51. If you need 96 to 100 cups, order 101. The spare drinks cost you nothing.

Who it suits, and who should skip it

Good for: office meetings and department treats, company events, school and PTA functions, weddings, engagement parties and open houses. The free delivery window matters most for these, because a 20-cup order delivered to a Klang Valley office would otherwise carry a delivery charge that CHAGEE has not yet published.

Skip it if: your group is under 20. You cannot top up to the minimum by mixing in walk-in purchases. Also skip it if you need drinks today or tomorrow, or if you are relying on CHAGEE app points or vouchers, since the app is excluded. For a small group, compare the group quote with whatever bundle is running in the CHAGEE app that week before you commit.

Fine print that trips people up

The free delivery depends on distance. It applies within the delivery radius of the outlet that takes your order. An address outside every nearby outlet's radius may not qualify, so ask before you commit.
18 October is a hard line. From 19 October 2026, standard packaging and delivery charges apply. The discount tiers themselves are not marked as ending then, but the post says all Group Order benefits depend on "campaign period and availability".
Delivery apps do not count. A 30-cup GrabFood or foodpanda basket gets no group discount. CHAGEE's terms exclude "O2O platforms", meaning online-to-offline ordering such as delivery apps.
Halal certification is per outlet. CHAGEE Malaysia describes itself as halal certified, but JAKIM certifies each premise separately. If it matters for your event, ask which outlet is fulfilling the order and check it on the JAKIM directory.
Ice melts. A 100-cup order made in one go will sit for a while. Ask for less ice or staggered batches if your event runs long.

Local context

Group tea orders are a big part of Malaysian office culture: the Friday treat, the send-off for a colleague, the kenduri tea table. Most of it still goes through delivery-app baskets or a long counter queue. CHAGEE's move to a WhatsApp desk with published tiers is closer to how caterers work. That is useful for anyone who has to put a single invoice through finance.
