The halal-certification "Free 100 Cups & Buy 1 Free 1" closed at 10pm on 13 September 2026, and the July GrabFood Buy 1 Free 1 closed on 28 July. On 16 September 2026 KOI Thé Malaysia had announced nothing new. The one discount still showing is an app-only 25% off on foodpanda. Both past promos are kept below as a record, because KOI Thé tends to repeat the same formats.

Is there a KOI Thé promo right now? (checked 16 September 2026)

No brand-run promotion is live. KOI Thé Malaysia's official Instagram (@koithemalaysia) has posted three times since the halal promo closed, and none of the posts is an offer:

  • 14 September: a Japanese Matcha Latte Shaved Ice, sold only at KOI Thé Cheras Traders Square, Kepong Laman Rimbunan and Melaka Tarcor Park. The post gives no price
  • 15 September: a Malaysia Day greeting
  • 6 September (still pending): "Your little KOI store is coming soon", a teaser for new merchandise with no date or price

The 8 September post announcing the halal certification says more KOI Thé outlets are working towards certification and "more exciting celebrations are coming soon". That's a hint, not a dated offer. Treat any "KOI Thé free drink" post you see now as old unless it carries a date after 13 September.

What you can still use:

  • foodpanda, app only: KOI Thé ANSA Bukit Bintang shows 25% off with a RM25 minimum order, auto-applied to all items (rechecked 16 September 2026). Details under "Delivery deals" below
  • New drinks, full price: that outlet's foodpanda menu now has a Seasonal Beverage section (Rich Matcha Latte from RM18.60, Strawberry Rich Matcha Latte from RM19.70) and a Malaysia Special Gula Melaka Milk Tea from RM14

What ran: 12–13 September 2026 (ended)

KOI Thé Malaysia posted the offer on its official Instagram on 10 September 2026 and on Facebook on 11 September, under the banner "Free 100 Cups & Buy 1 Free 1". The poster carries the Malaysia halal logo with certificate reference MS 1500 2 040-05/2026.

- When: 12 and 13 September 2026, 10:00am to 10:00pm - Promotion 1: the first 100 customers get one free Large (L) Golden Bubble Milk Tea. Limit one per customer per day - Promotion 2: buy any Medium or Large drink in a single receipt and get a free gift: - 12 Sep: a KOI Café fridge magnet (a small light-up shopfront model: 3 light modes, rechargeable, touch control) - 13 Sep: a KOI 600ml glass cup with a strap lid - Gifts came in limited daily quantities, while stocks lasted. The caption also said the promo was for walk-in purchases only, so delivery-app orders didn't qualify

These are the same 10 outlets that halalketak.com lists as JAKIM-certified premises in the e-Halal portal (checked 24 August 2026). KOI Thé had no JAKIM premise record in April 2026. Its other Malaysian outlets (32 on its own locator in early September) were not certified and were not in the promo.

What it was worth

KOI Thé doesn't publish counter prices online. For scale, these are the Medium prices on KOI Thé ANSA Bukit Bintang's foodpanda menu, unchanged between 13 and 16 September 2026. Delivery-app prices can be higher than at the counter.

  • Cheapest way to the glass cup: a Medium Jasmine Green Tea, Assam Black Tea or Golden Oolong Tea, listed from RM10.10
  • The free drink: Golden Bubble Milk Tea is RM14.40 in Medium. Promotion 1 gave away the Large size, so an early customer's free cup was worth more than that
  • Two people, one receipt: the rule was one gift per receipt, not per cup, so two drinks paid together earned one gift

If KOI Thé runs it again

The halal post promises more celebrations, so a similar in-store round is plausible. What this one taught:

  • Go at opening. "First 100 customers" and "limited quantities daily" meant the free drink and gifts could run out well before 10pm. The poster never said whether the 100 cups were per outlet or across all 10
  • Walk in. The caption limited it to walk-in purchases, so a GrabFood or foodpanda order wouldn't have earned the gift
  • Check the outlet list first. Only the 10 halal-certified outlets took part. If your nearest KOI Thé isn't certified, a repeat of this format probably won't include it

Delivery deals right now

On 16 September 2026 (as on 13 September), KOI Thé ANSA Bukit Bintang's foodpanda page shows an app-only 25% off with a RM25 minimum order, auto-applied to all items. Delivery is RM2.99 with a RM10 minimum order, and foodpanda adds free delivery on a first order. Two Medium Golden Bubble Milk Teas (RM28.80) clear the minimum. If the discount is uncapped, that's RM7.20 off, but the web listing doesn't show a cap. The earlier foodpanda offer from 16 July 2026 was "up to RM10 off" at the same minimum. KOI Thé hasn't announced a GrabFood-specific promo since July. This is one outlet on one day, so other outlets' deals can differ.

The July 2026 GrabFood Buy 1 Free 1 (ended)

  • What it was: Buy 1 Free 1 on four drinks: Jumble Milk Tea, Mango Pulp Green Tea, Coffee Jelly Green Milk Tea and Black Tea Macchiato
  • When: 27–28 July 2026 only, closing at midnight on 28 July
  • Where: GrabFood delivery only, at participating outlets. It didn't apply to dine-in, takeaway or self-collect. No minimum spend or per-account cap was published
  • For scale: Mango Pulp Green Tea is now listed from RM13.30 on the ANSA Bukit Bintang foodpanda menu. That's roughly what the free second cup was worth. Jumble Milk Tea and Coffee Jelly Green Milk Tea aren't on that outlet's foodpanda menu at all now, so July's line-up can't simply be re-ordered

How KOI Thé runs its deals

There's no fixed weekly 1-for-1. Offers come in short, channel-specific rounds. In 2026 so far: a GrabFood Buy 1 Free 1 on 22–23 June and 27–28 July; app-only perks such as a free Jumbo topping for members in late April and an RM15.20 Hojicha Latte in June; a new-member welcome pack (a Medium Golden Bubble Milk Tea at RM9.90 plus three RM2-off vouchers, prices vary by outlet); and the in-store halal promo on 12–13 September. New rounds are usually posted a day or two ahead on KOI Thé Malaysia's Instagram and Facebook page.
