What happened to the free bag

The Campbell's Limited Edition Foldable Bag was a supplier gift-with-purchase: RM15 of Campbell's in a single receipt, with at least one Campbell's Instant Soup in it, and the bag collected at the customer service counter. Campbell's own artwork dated it 1 to 31 August 2026, while stocks last. That window has closed.

No replacement gift has been posted. On 11 September 2026, MYDIN's promotions page listed Jom Jalan MYDIN, Member Specials for Sarawak and Sabah, and the Purchase With Purchase campaign. Its campaigns page listed the Tabung Haji Travels holiday draw, the 690,000-voucher giveaway, Beli, Menang & Jalan, Jelajah Lokal, MYDIN x Atome, Setel payments and MYDIN Prihatin. None of them is a Campbell's gift. The bag is gone; the RM15 threshold is not.

The live successor: RM15 of Campbell's prints a RM5 voucher

MYDIN's Jom Jalan MYDIN voucher terms (23 July to 30 September 2026) list 21 brand groups, each with its own minimum spend. Group 15 is Campbell's / Kimball / Please: minimum RM15, voucher RM5. It is the same RM15 the bag asked for, now paying out in money.

How it works, according to the T&C:

  1. Buy at least RM15 of Campbell's, Kimball or Please products in one receipt at a voucher-issuing branch (see the branch section below).
  2. The RM5 voucher prints automatically on the receipt stub when you pay. There is no counter to visit and no instant-soup condition this time: any mix of the three brands counts.
  3. Use it on a later transaction, within 14 days of the purchase date. It cannot be spent in the transaction that earned it. A purchase on 30 September gives a voucher valid until 14 October.
  4. It is valid only on products from the 21 participating brand groups, with no minimum spend on the redemption trip.

You get one voucher per qualifying brand group per receipt. RM15 of Campbell's plus RM25 of Ayam Brand in the same basket earns two RM5 vouchers, but RM30 of Campbell's still earns one. Vouchers come out of a fixed allocation, so MYDIN can stop issuing them before 30 September if the quota runs out.

What RM15 costs this month

MYDIN's online store lists eight Campbell's soups and four Kimball sauces. On 11 September 2026 the prices were:

  • Campbell's instant sachets (Cream Soup 2 x 23g Mushroom, Mushroom with Croutons 23g in Chicken and in Cheese, Instant Soup 2s x 20g Wild Mushroom): RM4.69 each, down from RM5.60, from 2 to 16 September.
  • Campbell's condensed cans (Wild Mushroom 300g and Mushroom Chicken 300g, usually RM6.70; Creamy Mushroom 290g, RM6.30; Mushroom Potage 300g, RM6.20): RM5.79 each, from 4 to 30 September.
  • Kimball Chilli Sauce 500g: RM4.49, down from RM5.50, from 2 to 16 September.
  • Kimball Oyster Sauce 255g RM4.45, Thai Chilli Sauce 355g RM4.60, Tomato Sauce 485g RM5.40: regular prices, no markdown.

These are online-store prices. Shelf prices at individual branches can differ, so check the tag before you build a basket down to the sen.

Baskets that clear RM15, and two that miss

  • Cheapest qualifying basket: RM15.08. One Campbell's sachet (RM4.69), one Campbell's can (RM5.79) and one Kimball Thai Chilli Sauce (RM4.60).
  • All Campbell's: RM15.17. Two instant sachets (RM4.69 each) and one can (RM5.79).
  • All Kimball: RM15.25. Two Tomato Sauce 485g (RM5.40 each) and one Oyster Sauce 255g (RM4.45). Build this one if you also want a Kimball contest entry (see below).

Trap one: three sachets at the new RM4.69 price come to RM14.07. At the regular RM5.60 they would have cleared the line (RM16.80); the markdown pushes the most obvious basket under it. Add a fourth sachet (RM18.76) or swap one for a can.

Trap two: one sachet, one can and a Kimball Chilli Sauce 500g total RM14.97. That is three sen short, the same RM14.97 near-miss the August bag had. Swap the Chilli Sauce for the Thai Chilli (RM4.60) and you are at RM15.08.

RM15.08 out, RM5 back as a voucher: if you use it, that is about a third of the spend returned.

Kimball Beli & Menang: the same receipt can enter a RM50,000 contest

Kimball, the sauce brand of Campbell Soup Southeast Asia (part of the Arnott's Group), is running its own Beli & Menang contest from 1 August to 15 October 2026. The slide on kimball.com.my sets out the mechanic:

  1. Buy RM15 of Kimball products in one receipt.
  2. Scan the QR code and submit your full name, MyKad number and a photo of the receipt.

The slide prints a RM10,000 grand prize (one winner), a RM7,000 second prize (one winner) and 30 weekly consolation prizes of RM100 in Touch 'n Go eWallet credit, under a headline of RM50,000 in cash prizes; terms and conditions apply. It names no retailer, so the contest is not tied to MYDIN.

The overlap is the useful part. A Kimball-only RM15 receipt at a voucher-issuing MYDIN does both jobs at once: it prints the RM5 Jom Jalan voucher and it is a valid contest entry. A receipt made up of Campbell's soup earns the voucher but not the entry, because the contest counts Kimball products only.

Which MYDIN branches print the voucher

The voucher T&C names 76 branches. Only 49 issue vouchers; the other 27 can redeem them but will not print one. Almost every MYDIN Hypermarket, Emporium and Bazaar issues, plus MYDIN Mart Sri Muda and MYDIN Mart Shah Alam. Most other MYDIN Mart branches are redeem-only, among them Balakong Jaya, Bukit Kuda, Taman Kinrara and Pantai Dalam. Branches not on the list are outside the promotion entirely.

In East Malaysia, MYDIN Samariang (Kuching) and Sejati Ujana Hypermarket (Sandakan) both issue and redeem. MYDIN Tunku Vista in Kuching is not on the list.

Stacking with the rest of Jom Jalan MYDIN

  • 500 Meriah bonus points. The Jom Jalan poster adds 500 bonus points for Meriah members who buy four participating-brand products in one receipt. Campbell's is in MYDIN's online Jom Jalan brand filter, so a four-sachet Campbell's basket (RM18.76) is worth trying. Scan your Meriah card at the till.
  • Setel cashback. Pay a single bill of RM100 or more at MYDIN with the Setel QR and RM6.90 lands in your Setel Wallet, once per account, until 30 September. A big grocery run with RM15 of Campbell's in it can collect both.

Who it suits, and who should skip it

Worth it if you already buy Campbell's soup or Kimball sauce, you shop at one of the 49 issuing branches, and you will be back within 14 days to spend the voucher. Buy the sachets before 16 September, while they are RM4.69.

Skip it if you only shop at a redeem-only MYDIN Mart, or you will not return within two weeks. An unused voucher is worth nothing, and a RM15 basket of soup you did not plan to buy is not a saving.

Fine print

  • One RM5 voucher per brand group per receipt. The allocation is limited and MYDIN can stop issuing without notice.
  • Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash, transferred or resold, and the counter may ask for the original receipt.
  • The T&C says vouchers cannot be combined with any other promotion, discount or voucher unless MYDIN specifies otherwise. If you plan to spend the RM5 on a marked-down item, ask the cashier before you pay.
  • The T&C names only Campbell's, Kimball and Please. Prego, which Campbell's also sells in Malaysia, is not named, so do not count it toward the RM15. MYDIN's online catalogue returns no product under the Please name.
  • The Kimball contest's full prize table and eligibility rules sit in its own terms and conditions; the slide is marked "Tertakluk kepada terma & syarat".
