What changed from August

Two things, and both matter more than the individual prices.

First, the fashion tier is back. The July 2026 fashion & lifestyle run ended on 31 July and skipped August entirely, so an August shopper only had groceries and appliances. September restores a full softline catalogue — clothing, kids' wear, bags and luggage — and it carries the deepest cuts in the whole campaign.

Second, AEON Kuching Central is no longer just excluded. It is still cut out of the national grocery list, but AEON now publishes a separate Kuching Central catalogue for the same 1–30 September window. Sarawak members who were told "you're excluded" in August have their own list this month.

How the member price actually works

  1. Be an AEON Member. Sign-up is free through the AEON Wallet app or at the customer service counter in-store. Ignore the RM12 physical-card fee some sites quote — it is not on AEON's own membership page.
  2. Pay the member way. The rate is unlocked by paying with the AEON Wallet app, or by presenting your Member Card at the till.
  3. The lower price is applied at checkout. Shelf tags print both figures, so you can see the non-member price beside the member price before you commit.
  4. Nothing stacks automatically. Member price *is* the shelf price for members; it is not a percentage taken off an existing markdown.

Fashion, bags and luggage — where the money is this month

This is the September story. Three lines are marked Save 70%, and they beat every appliance in the catalogue on both percentage and ringgit:

  • Gardini Clip Luggage: RM347.70–RM437.70, against RM1,159–RM1,459 non-member — up to RM1,021 off a single item
  • Travel Time PP Zipper Luggage: RM199.50 (20"), RM229.50–RM259.50 up to 28", against RM665 / RM765 / RM865

  • Suave Easy Care Jacket: RM183.20, against RM229 (Save 20%)

Read the small print on this catalogue especially. Unlike groceries, the softline items each carry their own store list on top of the campaign-wide exclusions. The Swiss Polo bags run at about 20 named stores only; the Gardini luggage at four; the Kiko tee at five; and the Suave and Agenda lines are cut from Ipoh (Kinta City), Permas Jaya (JB) and several others. A store that stocks the RM39 tee may not stock the RM137.70 bag.

The appliance list is deep but the gaps are narrower than August's headline halvings:

The three tiers most people miss

PETEMO is a two-store campaign, not a national one. The pet catalogue's own footer names exactly two branches — PETEMO AEON Bandar Utama (lower ground floor, below the supermarket) and PETEMO AEON Tebrau City JB (Lot S101, 2nd floor). Who it's worth it for — and who should skip

Worth it if you need luggage, a bag or a work wardrobe. The 70%-off softline lines are the only place in this catalogue where one purchase returns three figures. A 28" Travel Time case at RM259.50 instead of RM865 saves RM605.50 on one item — more than the entire appliance list's typical gap.

Worth it if you were already replacing a large appliance. The Toshiba side-by-side fridge is RM1,300 off and the Haier 1.0hp aircond RM800 off.

Skip it if you only want groceries and don't already use the AEON Wallet app. Outside the Meiji crackers and the prunes, most food gaps are RM0.30–RM2 an item, so a RM200 trolley typically saves single-digit ringgit.

Worked example: a household buying the Travel Time 24" case (−RM535.50), the Khind rice cooker (−RM70) and a RM120 grocery basket drawn from the list (roughly −RM10) saves about RM615 on one September trip. The same three purchases in August's catalogue would have saved roughly RM200.

Fine print

  • There are three different campaign-wide exclusion lists this month. Groceries: all AEON stores except Ipoh Falim, United Point (Kepong), Danga Bay (JB) and Kuching Central. Electricals: except Ipoh Falim, Kuantan, United Point (Kepong), Danga Bay (JB) and Permas Jaya (JB) — Permas Jaya is newly added since August. Fashion: except Kuantan, United Point (Kepong), Danga Bay (JB) and Kuching Central. Read the list on the catalogue for the aisle you are actually buying from.
  • Softline items carry a fourth layer of per-item store lists on top of that. Check the small grey line under the item, not just the pink footer.
  • Non-halal lines are additionally not sold at AEON Shah Alam, AU2 (Setiawangsa), Kuantan and Kota Bharu.
  • No minimum spend is published for member price. Prices are per unit and stock is not guaranteed to last the full month.
  • The MaxValu Prime catalogue ends 15 September 2026; everything else runs to 30 September 2026.
