> Quick view: TUI BLUE The Haven Ipoh's September package, Malaysia Stay & Celebrate 2026 (RM489), ended on 30 September and its page is now a 404. No October or Deepavali package has been published. The resort's own booking engine is already cheaper, though: on 4 October 2026 it priced the 868 sq ft 1-Bedroom Lakeview Suite with breakfast for two at RM470.61 for a mid-October night and RM447.93 on the Deepavali weekend, against a rack rate of RM567. Every engine rate is non-refundable.

September's package ended and nothing replaced it

In August the Merdeka rate was renamed rather than dropped, and the Malaysia Day package took over at the same RM489. That has not happened this time.

  • The September page is gone. /malaysia-day-escape/, the Malaysia Stay & Celebrate 2026 page, now returns "Page not found". The August Merdeka page has been removed too.
  • No successor exists. The resort's WordPress feed lists every offer page it has. The newest is the Healthy Break Package, published 19 May 2026. Nothing has been added since.
  • What the Offers index still shows: the Early Bird Special 2026, the Haven Signature Wellness Retreat and the Healthy Break Package, all valid to 31 December 2026. Older add-ons are also listed: an RM80 nett indoor teepee for children (Camp-in Luxe) and a RM55 nett set lunch at Cuisines. That lunch page was last edited in 2024 and still quotes 6% service tax, so confirm the price when you book.

What the booking engine charges in October

These are the resort's own online prices from reservations.thehavenresorts.com. They were checked on 4 October 2026 for 2 adults, 1 night, tax inclusive. The rate is called "Bed & breakfast", and the engine labels the discount "Early Bird Discount". It gets deeper the further ahead you stay.

1-Bedroom Lakeview Suite (868 sq ft), rack rate RM567:

  • Wednesday 7 October: RM476.28, 16% off
  • Wednesday 14 October and Saturday 24 October: RM470.61, 17% off
  • Saturday 31 October: RM464.94, 18% off
  • Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 November, Deepavali: RM447.93, 21% off

3-Bedroom Deluxe Suite Lakeview (1,180 sq ft), rack rate RM1,125: RM945 for 7 October, RM933.75 for 14, 17 and 24 October, RM922.50 for 31 October, and RM888.75 for 7 or 8 November.

2-Bedroom Deluxe Suite Horizon View (968 sq ft), rack rate RM765: RM634.95 in mid-October and RM604.35 for 7 November.

Three things stand out:

  • It beats September. RM470.61 is RM18.39 less than the RM489 September package, and RM447.93 is RM41.07 less. You lose the package's RM69 dining credit and 20% off spa. A couple who would not have spent RM150 on one dinner bill comes out ahead.
  • Weekends cost the same as weekdays. The 3-Bedroom was RM933.75 on Wednesday 14 and Saturday 17 October alike.
  • Stock is thin. Saturday 17 October had no 1-Bedroom Lakeview Suite for sale online. Saturday 31 October and Sunday 8 November had no 2-Bedroom Horizon View. Most room types showed only 1 to 3 units left.

The Haven Signature Wellness Retreat

This is the one package on the site worth comparing against the plain rate.

  • RM700 nett a night for the 1-Bedroom Lakeview Suite for two, against a stated normal price of RM1,007. The engine also sells it in larger suites: RM860 for the 2-Bedroom Horizon View and RM1,160 for the 3-Bedroom Lakeview.
  • Includes: daily breakfast and two 60-minute aromatherapy body massages per stay, which the resort values at RM440 nett. The page also lists light refreshments, a welcome drink at Cuisines, and early check-in from 1pm or late check-out to 2pm, subject to availability.
  • The real price of the massages: RM700 minus the RM470.61 B&B rate is RM229.39 for two massages, or about RM115 each. If you would book the spa anyway, this is the cheapest way to do it. If not, it is RM229 you don't need to spend.
  • Valid 1 January to 31 December 2026, and on the engine it is also non-refundable. It does not combine with other offers.

The Healthy Break Package

RM999 nett for 2D1N in the 1 Bedroom Deluxe Suite Lakeview with breakfast for two and a premium health screening for one at Sunway Medical Centre Ipoh, against a stated RM1,600. Extra nights are RM448 nett, which is now about the same as the engine's B&B rate. Over the RM470.61 plain rate, you are paying roughly RM528 for the screening. It needs prepayment and direct booking.

What the Early Bird page promises, and what to ask

The Early Bird Special 2026 page says up to 20% off Best Available Rates for bookings made at least 14 days ahead. It lists extra perks: early check-in at 1pm, late check-out at 2pm, a welcome drink, light refreshments, 10% off dining and 20% off selected spa treatments.

The engine's discount is labelled "Early Bird Discount" even for a stay three days out. It reached 21% for 7 November. The engine does not list those perks, though. If the late check-out or the 10% dining discount matters, ask on +605-540 0000 or WhatsApp whether they apply to an online booking before you pay.

The calendar: October is quiet, November has a long weekend

  • October 2026 has no national public holiday, and schools are in term until 3 December (Group A) and 4 December (Group B). This is a month for midweek couples, not family trips.
  • Deepavali is Sunday 8 November. The replacement holiday is Monday 9 November, so Saturday 7 to Monday 9 is a three-day weekend for most of the country. Group B schools also get Tuesday 10 November off.
  • The Deepavali rate is the lowest on the engine: RM447.93 a night for the 1-Bedroom. Two nights, 7 to 9 November, cost RM895.86 for two people with breakfast. For five people in the 3-Bedroom, two nights cost RM1,777.50, or RM355.50 a head.
  • If you want the Early Bird page's perks, its 14-day rule means booking a 7 November arrival by 24 October.

Who should book what

  • A couple, fixed dates, no spa: the online B&B rate. RM470.61 in mid-October, RM447.93 for Deepavali.
  • A couple who wants a massage each: the Wellness Retreat at RM700. The two massages work out to about RM115 each.
  • Five adults: the 3-Bedroom Deluxe Suite Lakeview at RM933.75, about RM186.75 a head, or RM177.75 on the Deepavali weekend.
  • Plans that might change: none of the online rates. They are non-refundable. Call the resort and ask for a flexible rate instead.
  • Going to Lost World of Tambun: compare with the theme-park hotel next door first (see Related reads).

Fine print

  • Non-refundable, paid in full at booking. Both the B&B rate and the Wellness Retreat carry this policy on the engine.
  • Prices are for 2 adults. Both 868 sq ft one-king suite types on the resort's room chart cap children at age 6. One allows 1 child and the other 2.
  • No stacking. Every offer page says it cannot be combined with other offers or discounts.
  • Breakfast runs in two slots, 7am to 8.45am and 9am to 10.30am. The pool closes at 8pm. The spa is open 12pm to 10pm and does not take cash.
