The Merdeka Tranquil Escape closed on 31 August. It was not extended — it was renamed. TUI BLUE The Haven Ipoh's Malaysia Stay & Celebrate 2026 runs 1 to 30 September at exactly the same money: the 868 sq ft lakeview suite for two at RM489 a night against a published RM671, the 1,180 sq ft three-bedroom for five at RM844 against RM1,229, both tax inclusive, both with the RM69 dining credit and 20% off spa. Two things did get better — breakfast now names a headcount, and the welcome surprise is itemised. One thing got worse: Malaysia Day 2026 falls on a Wednesday, so unlike August there is no long weekend inside the window at all.
