> Quick view: Adventure Waterpark Desaru Coast has cut every day-ticket price for visits in October and November 2026. MyKad holders pay RM70 online instead of RM95, Singaporeans and other non-MyKad visitors pay RM100 instead of RM145, and the counter prices drop as well. Book by 27 November. Online tickets must be bought at least three days before your visit.
What the Play On Splash Sale costs
The prices below come from the sale table on the park's own website (adventurewaterpark.com.my). Each line shows the normal price and then the sale price.
- Online admission: MyKad RM95 → RM70. Non-MyKad RM145 → RM100.
- Walk-in, adult: MyKad RM115 → RM80. Non-MyKad RM165 → RM115.
- Walk-in, child or senior: MyKad RM92 → RM64. Non-MyKad RM132 → RM92.
- Eat & Play package (admission plus one meal voucher): MyKad RM118 → RM100. Non-MyKad RM163 → RM130.
The online booking page lists only one admission price per group (MyKad and non-MyKad), with no separate child ticket. Children under 3 get in free if you show a birth certificate. The prices are nett, and the non-MyKad rates already include the 5% entertainment tax.
How to book
- Go to booking.adventurewaterpark.com.my and open the Play On! Promotion listing.
- Pick your visit date. It must be at least three days away, so today's earliest online date is Wednesday 14 October.
- Choose the MyKad or non-MyKad ticket, or the Eat & Play package, and pay.
- Show the mobile ticket at the ticketing counter. If you bought Eat & Play, print the meal voucher. The terms say the QR voucher must be shown in hard copy.
To pay the walk-in prices, just turn up at the counter on an open day in October or November.
Worked examples
- Malaysian family, two adults and two kids aged 5 and 8, booked online: 4 x RM70 = RM280. At the normal online price the same family would pay RM380.
- Same family, walk-in: 2 x RM80 + 2 x RM64 = RM288. That is only RM8 more than online, and you skip the three-day lock-in. If the weather looks doubtful, it may be worth paying the extra RM8 and deciding on the morning.
- Grandparent with one grandchild, walk-in: 2 x RM64 = RM128. Online would be 2 x RM70 = RM140, so the counter is cheaper here.
- Singaporean couple, online: 2 x RM100 = RM200, against RM290 at the normal online rate.
Is Eat & Play worth it? On sale, the package costs RM30 more than plain admission (RM100 vs RM70), and the voucher buys one main (roasted chicken rice, creamy chicken pasta or beef bolognaise) with a canned drink. Before the sale the gap was RM23. The park does not publish its café prices, so take a look at the Kelong Eatery menu first if you want to know whether RM30 is a fair price for that plate.
Add the extras. On a Saturday, a family staying from 10am to 6pm pays the RM15 daily parking cap (RM10 for the first five hours, then RM5 per half hour). A small locker is RM30 for the day, payable by card only. That takes the online family example to about RM325.
Who it suits, and who should skip it
Good fit: JB families who can drive over on a weekday, Singaporean day-trippers, and anyone already staying at a Desaru Coast hotel. The weekday parking cap is RM10, and November weekdays outside the school holidays should be quieter.
Think twice if the wave pool is your main reason to go. As of 11 October, the park's own update says the Surfwall is temporarily unavailable and the Tidal Wave pool is open but its wave activity is limited. The slides, lazy river and children's areas are not affected by that notice. Rough seas and heavy rain are also more common on Johor's east coast from November, and online tickets cannot be moved to another date.
Fine print that trips people up
- Closed every Tuesday. The park opens 10am to 6pm on all other days. Hours may change on public and school holidays.
- No refunds, no date changes for online tickets. Lost tickets are not replaced.
- No outside food or drink apart from mineral water. Dining is at Kelong Eatery, Octobites Cafe and the Penawar Market kiosk.
- Ride limits. Most of the big slides (The Tempest, Riptide, Wild Whirl, Super Twister) need riders to be 122 cm tall. Kraken's Revenge needs 110 cm.
- Children must be with an adult at all times inside the park.
- Not stackable. The sale cannot be combined with other promotions, including bank-card discounts on tickets.
