8 Theme Parks and Water Parks in KL, Selangor and Putrajaya 2026: MyKad Prices, and the Day Each One Shuts

The biggest ticket here and the only one that covers five parks at once: Water Park, Amusement Park, Wildlife Park, Scream Park, X Park, plus Lost Lagoon and the Night Park. The published adult rate is RM268, child (12 and under) and senior (60 and over) RM200. Show a MyKad and the walk-in rate drops to RM198 adult, RM150 child and senior; buy online and it is RM193 and RM145, RM5 less again. Children below 90cm enter free; child rates apply above 90cm or age 12 and under. Four rides are charged separately, and the MyKad gap on those is the widest in the Klang Valley: the bungy jump is RM175 without MyKad and RM98 with, G-Force X is RM82 against RM41, go-kart RM35 single and RM40 double, and a ride video RM40. The Quack Express queue-skip pass is RM90 a person. Boats run RM20 to RM40 depending on the craft and whether it is day or night. Open Wednesday to Monday, 10am to 11pm, with the Night Park from 6pm, and closed every Tuesday except on Malaysian school and public holidays, so it opens on Malaysia Day, Tuesday 16 September. The newest big water park in Selangor, on the Gamuda Cove estate near the KLIA highway, with 24 water slides and 15 key attractions. It is the only park on this list with one price for everyone: adult (13 to 59) RM125, child (3 to 12) RM110, senior (60 and above) RM110, OKU RM65, and free for children under 3 with a paying adult. There is no MyKad discount because there is no foreigner surcharge either. Extras are priced separately and add up quickly: lockers RM18, RM40 and RM45, a single tube RM19, sun seat RM28 and duo seat RM39, and cabanas from RM350 for four to RM550 for a large one with an upper deck, rented from 10am to 5pm with a RM100 refundable deposit returned if the key is back by 6pm. Wheelchairs and baby strollers are RM23 with a RM20 refundable deposit. Read the height chart before you pay: most of the big slides need 120cm or 122cm, and Mini Mania, Mini Monsta and Tiny Twista are for 106cm to 137cm only, so a 110cm child is limited to the small side of the park. At the time of checking the operator's live notices listed the Monsta slide as temporarily unavailable, the estate e-tram under maintenance with a shuttle from The Hive instead, and Big Bucket Splash closed for a private event on Sunday 13 September from 10am to 1.30pm. A 14-attraction water park on Persiaran Bangi Avenue in Kajang, and the cheapest full day in this list by a wide margin. Counter rates with MyKad are RM58 adult (130cm and above), RM48 child (90cm to 130cm), RM25 senior (60 and above), RM25 OKU adult and RM20 OKU child. Without MyKad it is RM70, RM60, RM30, RM30 and RM25. Children below 90cm enter free. The online rate is where the money is: until 30 September 2026 a Malaysian citizen pays RM35 on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, RM38 at weekends and RM40 during school and public holidays, with no separate child price, and international tourists pay RM45, RM48 and RM50. Online tickets must be bought on the park's own website before 12 noon on the day you visit, and daily allocations are first come, first served. Hours are 11am to 6pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, and 10am to 6pm on Saturdays, Sundays, school holidays, public holidays and ad hoc holidays. Closed every Tuesday except on those holidays. Parking is RM6 per entry, cashless only. Not one park but a cluster of separately ticketed attractions inside the i-City development in Shah Alam, which is why it can be the cheapest water option here or one of the dearest days out, depending on what you buy. Malaysian rates from its own ticketing store: WaterWorld RM40 adult, RM35 young adventurer, RM32 preschooler, RM35 senior or OKU, with a two-person Duo Splash at RM60; SnoWalk Aurora RM65 adult, RM55 young adventurer, RM50 preschooler; SkyCity RM45 adult, with a family pass of one adult and one child at RM75; Digital Sports Arena RM45 adult; Kidz World RM32 to RM35 at weekends with adults at RM10. Non-Malaysians pay RM45 to RM75 across the same list. Bundles are where the discount sits: Mega Fun Package RM48, Fun Package RM28, Glow Night Package RM38 and SkySplash RM60, all marked for Malaysians only. Race karting is RM75 for a beginner vehicle and RM95 for a twin, with a RM35 suit rental, RM10 mask and RM3 glove on top. One number to read sceptically: the All Day Happyness Pass 2026 at RM150 for a Malaysian adult is shown against a struck-through RM687, a total nobody would ever pay in one visit. The main site publishes no prices at all and sends you to its separate ticketing store.

The only park on this list inside the city centre, and the only one that is entirely indoors: 133,000 square feet across Galaxy Station for thrill rides and Fantasy Garden for younger children, listed in the Malaysia Book of Records as the country's first and largest indoor theme park. Prices are refreshingly plain. With MyKad: adult (13 and above) RM63, child (3 to 12) RM53 with MyKid, senior (60 and above) RM23, OKU and pregnant women RM23, infants under 3 free. Without a Malaysian card the same tickets are RM90, RM75, RM35 and RM35. The family package of two adults and two children is RM195 for Malaysians and RM264 for foreigners; bought separately the same four tickets cost RM232, so the package saves RM37. OKU and pregnancy rates need documentation shown at the Level 5 ticketing counter. Hours are noon to 9pm Monday to Friday and 11am to 9pm at weekends, public holidays and school holidays. Its Happy Hour gives 50 per cent off entrance tickets to MyKad and MyKid holders, Monday to Thursday, 6pm to 9pm, and is not valid Friday to Sunday or on public and school holidays. An apocalypse-themed indoor adventure park on Level 1 of IOI City Mall, 52,000 square feet under a 55-foot air-conditioned atrium, with eight attractions including a Ninja Warrior course, a vertical maze, a free-fall device, a trampoline field, an auto-belay climbing wall, the Tubby Ride and Malaysia's first indoor Roller Glider. Pricing is unusually simple and has just two tiers. Walk-in Active admission is RM64 on weekdays and RM80 at weekends, school holidays and public holidays, and Non-Active admission, for the adult who is only there to watch, is RM10 on any day. Hours are noon to 8pm on weekdays and 10am to 8pm at weekends, school holidays and public holidays. The trap is in the same line as the hours: the last ticket purchase or redemption is at 5.30pm, two and a half hours before the park closes. An outdoor adventure park built along the alfresco side of Alamanda Putrajaya Shopping Centre, run by Sim Leisure Group, with a Zip Coaster and rope-and-climb attractions rather than machines. Prices are published as a floor rather than a fixed rate: Future Kid (0 to 3) free, Junior Kid (4 to 12) from RM52.50, Big Kid (13 to 59) from RM79.10, and Super Kid (60 to 100 and above) free when accompanied by a paying guest, with photo identification required. ESCAPE advertises up to 30 per cent off for buying online, which is where the "from" prices come from. Open daily, 10am to 6pm. Two operational details to plan for. The park uses facial recognition ticketing, and every visitor must upload a selfie through the link in the ticket email before arriving, including everyone in your group. And rescheduling needs at least one day's notice for Family and Friends tickets, two days for Team Building, Birthday Party and Greenie Programme tickets, with additional charges. A point most lists get wrong: ESCAPE has no Petaling Jaya park. Its own site lists Penang, Ipoh, Johor Bahru and Putrajaya only. An indoor role-play city built at child scale, where children work as firefighters, surgeons, pilots and scientists in miniature establishments and are paid in kidZos. It is the one park on this list where the child ticket costs more than the adult one, because the child is the customer and the adult is a chaperone. Published rates are Baby (0 to 2) free, Toddler (3 to 5) from RM40.60, Child (6 to 17) from RM84, Adult (18 to 59) from RM48.30, and Senior (60 to 100 and above) free. Its own page notes that all tickets are subject to 5 per cent state government entertainment tax except for toddlers, and that each OKU card holder must be accompanied by a paying guest. The listed adult and child prices sit exactly 5 per cent above RM46 and RM80, which suggests the tax is already inside the figure; confirm at checkout. Two rules to know before you leave home: tickets are 100 per cent online and are not sold at the counter, and the park uses facial recognition for check-in, so everyone in the group must upload a selfie from the ticket email first.
