> Quick view: AEON Taman Universiti in Skudai has its own "Back to College: Campus Best Deals" leaflet running from 1 to 11 October 2026. It covers 36 items across clothing, groceries, toiletries and hostel basics, and every line prints AEON's normal price (NP) beside the offer. The real savings sit in the home and appliance page: fans, steam irons and a curtain set marked down by RM30 to RM154. The grocery page is mostly small change.

How it works

There is nothing to sign up for. The leaflet is published on AEON's own promotions page under "AEON Taman Universiti (JB) Back to College", and the prices apply at the shelf of that one store from 1 to 11 October. You do not need an AEON member card for these prices; the leaflet does not mark any line as member-only. Pay as usual at the counter.

It is a single-store sale. No other Johor AEON is named on the leaflet, so do not expect these prices at other branches.

The home and appliance page: where the money is

This is the page to plan a trip around.

The two irons are the same price, so pick on wattage: the Philips is 2000W against the Tefal's 1200W.

Worked examples

The hostel move-in kit. Midea stand fan (RM89), Home Coordy pillow (RM12.90), Scotch-Brite mop set (RM25), dustpan set (RM8), water pail (RM30) and the Tefal iron (RM69) come to RM233.90, against RM364.85 at normal price. That is RM130.95 saved, and over half of it is the fan.

The monthly bathroom and laundry restock. Dynamo refill (RM23.90), Dettol refill (RM10.90), Colgate twin pack (RM21.90), Oral-B 3-pack (RM8.90) and Vinda towels (RM14.90) total RM80.50 against RM102.55, so RM22.05 saved. The receipt also clears RM42, which makes it one entry in AEON's 42nd anniversary Spend & Win draw, open to 31 October.

The late-night study snack run. Samyang 5-pack, Nestum, Hup Seng, Mamee and Maggi come to RM47.05 against RM55.68. Only RM8.63 saved, which is why the grocery page alone is not worth a special drive.

Who it suits, and who can skip it

Go if you are a UTM student or parent setting up a hostel room, or a Skudai household that needs a fan, iron or curtains this month. The appliance cuts of RM30 to RM100 are real money. Skip it if you mainly buy groceries: most food lines are under RM2 off, so a regular AEON run elsewhere loses you little.

Fine print that trips people up

  • Buy-two lines: Scarlet panties are RM25 each only when you take two (one is RM29). The Letgo pillow works out to RM15 each for two, just 90 sen under its single price, and the Home Coordy pillow at RM12.90 is cheaper anyway.
  • Price ranges: the Gallivant backpack runs RM50 to RM70 against a single RM79 NP, so the bigger cut is on the cheaper designs. Check the shelf tag before you queue.
  • "Assorted" means AEON picks the mix. Colours, flavours and sizes depend on what the store has.
  • No stock count is printed. Treat the fans and curtains as limited and go early in the window.
  • Store only. These prices are not valid at other AEON stores or online.
