> Quick view: Decathlon's only Perak store is at AEON Mall Ipoh Station 18, lot G22, open 10am–10pm daily. Miles For Smiles ended on Sunday 4 October 2026, and the 29–31 August opening offers are long gone, though the store page still shows them. The live campaign a Station 18 receipt feeds is the Winter Lucky Draw (5 October–22 November): 399 points per entry, a guaranteed RM5 gift card for every entry that doesn't win, and a RM399 minimum spend to be eligible for a grand prize.
What ended, and what the store page still shows
Two sets of offers that brought people to Station 18 are over:
- Miles For Smiles ended on Sunday 4 October 2026. It was the one campaign marked "available online & in-store", with the men's blue Kiprun Kipcore Premium at RM179 (from RM249), a 10L trail running bag at RM179 and a Trigger Point massage ball at RM99. Decathlon's campaign page is still live on 6 October and still titled "Until 4th Oct". Don't read a live page as a live offer.
- The grand-opening offers ended on 31 August. The free backpack from RM168, the cooler bag from RM188 and the eight opening prices, including Kipcore Premium at RM129, ran 29–31 August only. On 6 October the Station 18 store page still carries all three "Store Opening" offer banners, five weeks after the event.
Decathlon has no 10.10 page this year (the obvious addresses return 404), and its mid-month sale page still shows September's 17–23 September terms. So, as of 6 October, there is no storewide markdown at Station 18. What is running is a points game.
The store: where it is, when it's open, how to get there
- Decathlon Station 18, lot G22, ground floor, AEON Mall Ipoh Station 18, No. 2 Susuran Stesen 18, Station 18, 31650 Ipoh, Perak
- Hours: 10am–10pm daily, per the store's own page. The mall stays open to 10:30pm on Friday and Saturday, but Decathlon only publishes 10pm, so plan on that
- By car: 15–20 minutes from Ipoh city centre via Jalan Pasir Puteh or Jalan Pengkalan, with sheltered and open-air parking
- By bus: the store page now names Perak Transit routes T35 and T37, which run from Ipoh Railway Station and the Medan Kidd terminal to the AEON Station 18 stop, in about 25–30 minutes. E-hailing from central Ipoh takes about 15 minutes
It is still the only Decathlon in Perak, and Decathlon's store directory still doesn't list it. On 6 October the *Our Stores* page had no Ipoh or Perak entry at all. If a search for Ipoh comes up empty, use the Station 18 page directly.
What the store does besides selling: free Click & Collect (choose Station 18 at online checkout), returns and exchanges of items bought online or at any other Malaysian branch, and trial zones for bicycles, scooters and fitness equipment. Membership is free and adds 365-day returns.
The Winter Lucky Draw: how a Station 18 receipt turns into an entry
The Winter Lucky Draw runs from 00:00 on 5 October to 23:59 on 22 November 2026. Its terms are specific, and they work at the Station 18 till:
- Be a member. Non-members can sign up free online or in store before entering.
- Earn points. Members get 1 point per RM1 on products sold and shipped by Decathlon. In store you must scan your membership card at checkout (or show it to staff). Decathlon is under no obligation to add points afterwards.
- Enter. Each entry deducts 399 points and is non-refundable. You can enter as many times as your balance allows. You also need at least one valid purchase in the period, in store or online.
- Wait for the draw. Five grand prizes are drawn within 10 calendar days after 22 November. Selected entrants get a phone call and must answer a trivia question, then have 7 days to claim.
- Collect the consolation. Every entry that doesn't win a grand prize gets an RM5 gift card. It lands in the app's Rewards wallet within 10 working days after the campaign ends, so expect it in early December, and it is valid for 6 months.
The catch in the fine print: the entry rule only asks for "one valid purchase", but the winner rule says a selected entrant is eligible only with a qualifying purchase of at least RM399 in the period. A RM50 receipt and old points get you an entry and the RM5 card. They don't make you eligible for a grand prize. One grand prize per member, and a grand-prize winner doesn't also get the RM5 card.
Is it worth your points? The maths
Decathlon's standard exchange is 400 points = RM5, 700 = RM10 and 1,500 = RM25, with points valid 12 months.
- An entry is a free ticket at the bottom tier. 399 points buys the same RM5 that 400 points would, plus a shot at a grand prize. If you only have 400 to 699 points, entering beats converting.
- At higher balances, converting pays more. With 1,500 points, three entries (1,197 points) return RM15 in gift cards. The same 1,500 points convert to a RM25 voucher, RM10 more. Enter only if the grand-prize chance is worth RM10 to you.
- The timing differs too. A converted voucher is usable as soon as you make it. Lucky-draw cards arrive after 22 November.
A worked Station 18 example: spend RM399 on Decathlon-brand gear in one visit with your membership scanned. That earns 399 points, exactly one entry, and the spend meets the grand-prize threshold. Worst case is an RM5 gift card in December, about 1.25% back. Marketplace and partner-brand items may not earn points, so check the "sold and shipped by" line.
Payday: the codes you collect at the counter
Decathlon's payday terms are written as a monthly rule: 00:00 on the 24th to 23:59 on the last day of the month. There are two parallel ladders:
- Website and app, applied automatically: RM10 off RM180, RM15 off RM250, RM30 off RM450, RM45 off RM650 and RM60 off RM850
- App-exclusive codes collected in-store: RM8 off RM150, RM15 off RM250, RM30 off RM450, RM45 off RM650 and RM60 off RM850, one use per Membership ID
This is where Station 18 matters: the in-store ladder's codes are handed out in Decathlon stores and then used in the app. Both ladders exclude Marketplace and partner-brand products, and the minimum spend must be met in one transaction.
On 6 October the payday page was still titled "24 – 30 September". If October follows the terms as written, the window would be 24–31 October. Treat that as likely, not confirmed, until the page changes.
Also at AEON Mall Ipoh Station 18 this month
Sunday 18 October: Batik Run 2026 – Ipoh, at AEON Mall Station 18. Start time 7am, flag-off 7:30am. The JomRun page lists an event tee and finisher medal, and registration closes 17 October at 11:59pm. Race-kit collection is still "to be confirmed". On 6 October the page still advertised early-bird tickets but showed no price as text. In September the listing gave RM34.90 super early bird and RM39.90 early bird. This is a mall event, not a Decathlon one.
Who this suits, and who should skip it
Go if you live in Perak and were going to buy kit anyway. Scan your membership, and a RM399 visit gives you one lucky-draw entry and grand-prize eligibility. Go too if you have an online order to collect or a return from another branch.
Skip it if you're chasing a price cut. Miles For Smiles has ended, and there is no 10.10 or mid-month sale in October as of the 6th. And if you're sitting on 1,500 or more points, convert to the RM25 voucher rather than burning them on RM5 entries, unless you really want the grand-prize shot.
