> Quick view: Everrise is running a Members' Weekend from Friday 28 to Sunday 30 August 2026 across 18 Sarawak outlets, 14 of them in Kuching. Every price on the sheet is member-only, and membership has lived inside the Grab app since 9 April 2026, so the cashier has to scan a barcode off your phone before the flyer price applies. Kuching, Miri and Bintulu are three different flyers with three different price lists, and two Everrise stores are not in the promotion at all. Updated Monday 31 August: that weekend is over. A one-day Merdeka Flash Sale has taken its place, and it runs at only 11 of the 18 stores. Jump to the 31 August section for today's prices.

Everrise put four Members' Weekend flyers on its own promotions feed on 27 August 2026. One is for Everrise KK Imago in Kota Kinabalu and runs four days because Merdeka Monday falls inside Sabah's window. The other three are Sarawak: Kuching, Miri and Bintulu, all Friday 28 to Sunday 30 August. This article is about those three.

That distinction matters more than it sounds, because the three Sarawak sheets are not copies of each other. They share a layout and a lot of stock, then quietly disagree on price, on which stores are included and on which shelves are excluded.

Where it actually runs: 18 stores, and the two that miss out

The Kuching flyer header lists 14 outlets: Padungan, BDC, 4th Mile, Plaza Merdeka, Vivacity, CityONE, Green Heights Mall, Metrocity, Stutong, Pending, Samarahan, Matang Jaya, Batu Kawah and Tabuan Jaya.

The Miri flyer lists three: Miri Saberkas, Miri Bintang Megamall and Miri Boulevard Commercial Centre.

The Bintulu flyer lists exactly one, Medan Jaya, and prints its hours on the header: 8.30am to 10pm.

Now compare that against Everrise's own outlets page, which lists 15 Kuching-area stores and two in Bintulu. Demak Laut in Kuching and JFV in Bintulu appear on the outlets page but on none of the Members' Weekend headers. If either of those is your usual stop, the flyer prices are not yours this weekend. That is the single most expensive assumption you can make with this promotion, because both are ordinary full-size Everrise stores that look exactly like the ones that are in it.

The catch: "members only" now means opening the Grab app at the till

Every one of the three Sarawak flyers carries the same four-line footer: prices shown are for members only, all prices in Ringgit Malaysia, prices subject to change without prior notice, while stocks last.

Since 9 April 2026 the Everrise loyalty programme has been powered by Grab. Everrise's own membership FAQ is blunt about what that means at the checkout counter: to enjoy member benefits, you must bring your phone and open the Grab app so the cashier can scan the barcode. There is no paper workaround and no supplementary card. Registration itself is free, and the virtual membership e-card sits in the Grab app under Profile > Partner loyalty programmes.

A few things follow from that, and none of them are printed on the flyer:

  • You earn 0.4 GrabCoins per RM1 paying by cash or credit/debit card, and 0.5 GrabCoins per RM1 paying with GrabPay.
  • GrabCoins are only awarded on cash, credit/debit card and GrabPay. The flyer footer proudly lists a dozen accepted e-wallets, including Touch 'n Go eWallet, Boost, ShopeePay, Alipay, WeChat Pay, MCash, DuitNow, MAE, SPay Global, JCB and UnionPay. Pay with any of those and you still get the member price, but you earn nothing. On a RM300 weekend shop that is the difference between 120 or 150 GrabCoins and zero.
  • GrabCoins expire six months from the month you earn them. Coins earned in August 2026 lapse at the end of February 2027.
  • The physical Everrise Gold Card is still valid at all outlets with its own perks, so gold card holders have not been forced out.
  • AIA Vitality benefits can be used at the same time as Everrise membership, except at self-checkout counters.

What the Kuching sheet actually costs

The Kuching flyer is the biggest of the three. Fresh produce is where the cheap headlines are: Australia Navel Orange (138s) at 99 sen each, China Broccoli RM2.99, China Red Apple (56s) RM2.99, China Carrot 1kg RM2.99, New Zealand Zespri Green Kiwi 5s RM10.99, South Africa Blueberry 125g RM9.99 and South Africa / Australia Strawberry 250g RM16.99.

The bulk-buy end is where the printed savings are largest. Enfagrow A+ S3 2.32kg is RM227.99, flagged save RM19.33. Vinda Toilet Roll 16s is RM26.69, flagged save RM9.50, limit 2 packets. Drypers Drypantz Mega Pack is RM26.99, flagged save RM10.50, limit 2 packets. MILO Activ-Go 1.8kg is RM37.99, limit 2 packets. Those per-customer limits are printed in red on the tile itself, so a stock-up run has a hard ceiling.

The Imported Food block on the Kuching flyer (Safeway Select Spaghetti 453g RM9.99, Sainsbury's Olive Oil 500ml RM27.99, Sainsbury's Cream Crackers 300g RM4.99, Moccona 200g RM40.69, OSK 3-in-1 Latte 12 x 22g RM14.69, Pams Beans Chilli Mild 425g RM10.99) carries its own store line, and it is shorter than the main one: BDC, 4th Mile, CityONE, Green Heights Mall, Vivacity, Plaza Merdeka and Metrocity. That is seven of the 14 Kuching stores. The non-halal shelf (Berri Estates 75cl RM44.99, Porkies Pork Luncheon Meat 340g RM9.39) prints its own exclusion: not at Metrocity or Samarahan.

Miri and Bintulu are not the same flyer

Packaged goods are mostly aligned across the three Sarawak sheets, and fresh produce is not. The strawberry that is RM16.99 in Kuching is RM17.99 in Miri and Bintulu. The Zespri kiwi that is RM10.99 in Kuching is RM11.99 in both. Hup Seng cream crackers move from RM4.69 to RM4.79.

It does not run one way. Australia / New Zealand Lamb Shoulder 1kg is RM39.99 in Kuching and RM38.99 in Miri and Bintulu, so Kuching pays a ringgit more for the lamb. Ayamas Honey Chicken Frankfurters 300g are RM4.69 in Kuching and RM4.59 in Bintulu, while Miri gets a different brand entirely at that slot: Supreme Smoked Chicken Frankfurters 300g at RM4.99.

Two branded lines are noticeably dearer outside Kuching. Cadbury 110g to 130g is RM6.69 in Kuching and RM7.29 in both Miri and Bintulu. Jacob's Cream Crackers Reno is RM7.99 in Kuching and RM8.29 in both. Bintulu also gets a line the Kuching sheet does not run at all, OLD TOWN White Coffee 35g to 38g x 15 at RM15.79, and a Scotch-Brite 21-B scouring sponge 4-pack at RM5.99. Miri gets a 5-layer drawer unit at RM85.99.

Miri has one more trap worth naming. Three imported lines on the Miri flyer, Sainsbury's Olive Oil 500ml, Sainsbury's Cream Crackers 300g and Pams Beans Chilli Mild, are each printed with EXCLUDE MIRI SABERKAS in red. Miri Saberkas is on the header, so it is in the promotion, but not for those items.

The Sarawak stores are cheaper than the Sabah one

Everrise's KK Imago flyer runs the same weekend and is worth putting side by side, because it settles a question East Malaysians argue about. On the overlapping items, Sabah pays more, and not by a token amount on everything.

MILO Activ-Go 1.8kg is RM1 dearer in KK. Enfagrow A+ S3 is RM1 dearer. Jacob's Cream Crackers Reno is RM8.99 in KK against RM7.99 in Kuching. The two big gaps are Follow Me Antibacterial Shampoo 650ml at RM18.59 in KK against RM13.69 across Sarawak, and Porkies Pork Luncheon Meat 340g at RM11.99 in KK against RM9.39 across Sarawak. That is a 36 per cent and a 28 per cent gap on the same tin and the same bottle, in the same chain, on the same weekend.

Three side campaigns riding on the same paper

Each Sarawak flyer carries a second promotion in its top-right corner, and each is store-specific.

Kuching, Everrise BDC only. An Abbott Special Promotions panel marked member exclusive, running 24 to 31 August 2026: purchase Abbott products, spend RM1,500, and receive one kid bicycle plus an Everrise RM150 cash voucher free. The RM1,500 threshold is steep for a single receipt, so this realistically targets households buying a long run of formula in one go.

Miri, Boulevard Commercial Centre only. Fresh Catch Specials, 25 to 30 August 2026: Squid 4/6 at RM14.99 per kg, Lumahan 3/5 at RM12.99 per kg, Ketam 200/300 at RM28.99 per kg. Note the start date. This one began three days before the Members' Weekend and ends with it.

Bintulu, Medan Jaya. A WINDSIR Bedding Fair, up to 80 per cent off, valid till 11 October 2026. It is the only component here that outlives the weekend by a long way, so if you cannot get to Bintulu before Sunday, the bedding fair is still there in October.

Who should make the trip, and who should not bother

Go if you are already a Grab user in Kuching, you are due a restock of formula, detergent, toilet roll or nappies, and one of the 14 Kuching stores is convenient. The per-unit savings on the limit-2 lines (Vinda, Drypers, MILO) are the real money here, and buying two of each is exactly what the limits allow.

Go if you are in Miri and near Boulevard: the seafood pricing is a separate, genuinely local offer that has nothing to do with the grocery sheet.

Skip it if you do not want to install Grab. The flyer price is not available to you at all, and there is no counter workaround. Skip it if your nearest store is Demak Laut or JFV. And treat the imported aisle as a Kuching-and-seven-stores affair rather than a chain-wide one.

What comes after Sunday

Everrise's promotions feed shows a clear weekly rhythm through August 2026. Members' Weekend sheets ran 31 July to 2 August, 7 to 9 August, 14 to 16 August and now 28 to 30 August, always Friday to Sunday. Members' Weekday sheets ran 4 to 6 August, 11 to 13 August and 18 to 20 August, always Tuesday to Thursday. Two extra one-day sheets stacked inside the early-August weekends: a 1-Day Price Crush on the Saturdays of 1, 8 and 15 August (Kuching and Miri only) and a Members Best Value single-day sheet on the Sundays of 2, 9 and 16 August.

Worth noting honestly: nothing was posted to that feed between 17 and 27 August, so the 21 to 23 August weekend and the 25 to 27 August weekday slot ran without flyers. Update, 29 August: the one-day sheets are back. We said above that none had appeared since 16 August and warned against planning around a Price Crush that might not return -- Everrise posted three more flyers on 28 August, and two of them are Price Crushes running today. That correction, and what is on those sheets, is the section below.

Update, 31 August: the rhythm completed itself, twice over. The Sunday Members Best Value slot returned as well -- Everrise posted three of those sheets on 29 August for Sunday 30 August, and this time Bintulu got one, even though Bintulu had been skipped entirely for Saturday's Price Crush. Then on 30 August the chain posted three Merdeka Flash Sale flyers for Monday 31 August, a public holiday and a slot that has no equivalent anywhere else in the August feed. In eight days Everrise published thirteen Sarawak and Sabah flyers across four different formats. Anyone who wrote off the feed during the 17 to 27 August silence would have missed all of them.

Update, 29 August: three more flyers landed on top of this weekend

On 28 August Everrise posted three flyers that stack on top of the Members' Weekend and were not part of the original four. Two run today only; one runs today and tomorrow. None of them is mentioned on the Members' Weekend sheets, so if you planned your trip off those alone you would miss all three.

1-Day Price Crush, Saturday 29 August -- but at 10 of the 18 stores, not all of them

The Price Crush is back after a two-week gap, and its store list is narrower than the Members' Weekend list at both branches:

  • Kuching: 8 stores, not 14 -- Padungan, BDC, 4th Mile, Green Heights Mall, CityONE, Plaza Merdeka, Vivacity and Metrocity. Stutong, Pending, Samarahan, Matang Jaya, Batu Kawah and Tabuan Jaya are on the weekend sheet but not on this one.
  • Miri: 2 stores, not 3 -- Bintang Megamall and Boulevard Commercial Centre. Saberkas is excluded again, as it was from several imported lines on the weekend sheet.
  • Bintulu: no Price Crush at all. Medan Jaya gets a different sale instead (below).

Kuching's sheet includes South Africa Lemon 88s at 99 sen each, China Red Globe Grapes 500g RM4.99, China Wongbok 1kg RM3.99, Japanese Cucumber 1kg RM6.99, Summer Blossom Thai Fragrant Rice 10kg RM44.99, Breeze Liquid Detergent Refill 3.2kg RM17.99, Knife Cooking Oil 5kg RM35.69, Oreo RM2.29, a 5 Layer Drawer at RM99.99, and on the non-halal shelf Carlsberg / Smooth Draught 320ml x6 at RM36.99 -- that last one marked exclude Metrocity.

Miri's sheet is a different list again: Australia Royal Honey Murcott 600g RM9.99, Zespri Sun Gold Kiwi 5s RM15.99, China Sweet Cabbage 1kg RM2.99, Mao Xiong Fresh Needle Mushroom 100g 99 sen, Vesawit Cooking Oil 5kg RM29.99, FarmCows Fat Spread 250g RM7.29 and a 2-tier dish rack at RM49.99.

The two Price Crush sheets disagree on price on the same day, which is the same pattern the weekend flyers show:

  • PediaSure BIB 1.65kg -- RM200.99 in Kuching, RM190.99 in Miri. Both sheets print "save RM12.00", so the RM10 gap is in the base price, not the discount. This is the single biggest same-day gap on either sheet.
  • Mushroom Small White Fish Ball 500g -- RM7.59 Kuching, RM6.99 Miri
  • Oreo 110.4-119.1g -- RM2.29 Kuching, RM2.66 Miri
  • Anlene Gold 950g -- RM34.99 Kuching, RM34.79 Miri
  • Ibumie Always Mi Goreng Asli 80g x5 -- RM3.79 Kuching, RM3.89 Miri
  • Identical at both: Farm Fresh Cows Milk 1L RM7.69, Dutch Lady UHT 1L RM6.39, Pringles 102g RM6.29, Wyeth S-26 Progress 1.65kg RM101.99 (save RM9.00), Dettol Shower Gel 950g RM14.99, Vinda Deluxe Kitchen Towel RM14.69, Gulong Pork Luncheon Meat 340g RM10.99

Bintulu gets a government Rahmah Madani sale instead -- and it beats the member price

This is the one worth planning around. Program Jualan RAHMAH Madani runs at Everrise Bintulu Medan Jaya on Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 August 2026, organised by the Sarawak state Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living (KPDN) under the Malaysia Madani banner, in partnership with Everrise.

Two things make it different from everything else on this page:

  1. It is not member-gated. Nothing on the sheet mentions membership or the Grab app -- these are subsidised Harga PJRM prices printed against the normal shelf price. The footer restricts it to households and local residents and states it is not permitted for business purposes.
  2. It runs 8.30am to 1.30pm only -- a five-hour morning window, not the store's usual 8.30am to 10pm. Turn up at 2pm and it is over.

Per-customer limits are tight and printed on every item. Highlights: Fresh Chicken Super 1kg (without head and feet) RM8.00 (was RM11.40, limit 2 birds), Omega Fresh Egg (M) 30s RM13.50 (was RM17.35, limit 2 trays), Liansin Haryana Low Fat Low Sugar Rice 5kg RM32.50 (was RM45.90, limit 1), Natural Blend Cooking Oil 3kg RM26.90 (was RM37.50, limit 1), Cap Lili Wheat Flour 850g RM1.70 (was RM2.30), Dutch Lady 456 Milk Powder 850g RM17.90 (was RM25.15), Tilapia Cooking Oil 1kg RM2.50 (limit 3), and CSR coarse sugar 1kg RM2.85.

And on five lines it undercuts the members-only weekend price at the very same store:

  • Vinda Toilet Roll 16s -- RM20.90 on the Rahmah sheet, RM26.69 on the Members' Weekend sheet. RM5.79 cheaper, no membership needed. The weekend sheet badges this one "save RM9.50"; the Rahmah price saves RM8.90 off a higher stated original, and still lands lower.
  • TOP Liquid Detergent 3.6-3.8kg -- RM15.50 vs RM19.99. RM4.49 cheaper.
  • Drypers DryPantz Mega Pack -- RM23.00 vs RM26.99. RM3.99 cheaper.
  • Jacob's Cream Crackers Reno 14x36g -- RM7.00 vs RM8.29. RM1.29 cheaper.
  • Sunlight Dishwash 800ml -- RM4.90 vs RM6.29. RM1.39 cheaper.

The trade-off is the limit and the clock: the weekend sheet lets you take two Vinda packs any time between Friday and Sunday close, the Rahmah sheet lets you take one, before 1.30pm, on Saturday or Sunday. For a single household restock the Rahmah price wins on all five. For stocking up, the member limit is worth more on Vinda and Drypers.

Update, 31 August: the Merdeka Flash Sale is today only, and at 11 of the 18 stores

The Members' Weekend closed on Sunday night. On 30 August Everrise posted three more flyers, one per region, headed MERDEKA FLASH SALE, TODAY ONLY, 31 AUG 2026. They are member-priced like the weekend sheets, and their store lists are the narrowest of anything published this month.

  • Kuching: 8 stores -- Padungan, BDC, 4th Mile, Green Heights Mall, CityONE, Plaza Merdeka, Vivacity and Metrocity. Exactly the same eight that got Saturday's Price Crush, and six fewer than the weekend sheet.
  • Miri: 2 stores -- Bintang Megamall and Boulevard Commercial Centre. Saberkas is left out for the third time this weekend.
  • Bintulu: 1 store -- Medan Jaya, and it is again the only flyer of the three that prints trading hours: 8.30am to 10pm.

That is 11 of the 18 Sarawak outlets. If your usual stop is Stutong, Pending, Samarahan, Matang Jaya, Batu Kawah, Tabuan Jaya, Demak Laut, Miri Saberkas or Bintulu JFV, today's sheet is not yours.

The sushi discount reaches more stores than the grocery sheet does

Each of the three flyers carries a second panel in the top-right corner, a J-mart Merdeka Special Promotion: sushi 10 per cent off, 31 August 2026. Read the small print under it, because the scope is different from the flyer it is printed on. The Kuching panel says "@ All Kuching Outlets (Exclude Pending, Matang, Samarahan)" and the Miri panel says "@ All Miri Outlets". Taken literally, the sushi discount is live at Kuching stores such as Stutong, Batu Kawah and Tabuan Jaya that are shut out of the grocery flash sale, and at Miri Saberkas, which is shut out of everything else. Everrise's own website does not mention J-mart anywhere, so if the counter matters to you, ring the store before making the trip.

Same day, same tin, three prices

The weekend flyers disagreed on fresh produce and agreed on packaged goods. Today's sheets break that pattern: the middle of all three flyers is identical, and the disagreement has moved to the chilled and dairy rows.

  • Westgold Butter 250g (salted or unsalted) -- RM12.69 in Kuching, RM14.29 in Miri, RM14.69 in Bintulu. Three prices for one SKU on one day, a RM2.00 spread and 16 per cent between the cheapest and dearest store.
  • Jacob's Crackers 14-15 x 27.9g-36g (Cream, Weetameal) -- RM7.29 in Kuching, RM8.29 in Miri and Bintulu. Note that Kuching's has come down from the RM7.99 on its own weekend sheet, while Miri and Bintulu have not moved off RM8.29. Today's tile describes a wider pack range than the weekend's "Reno 14x36g", so check what is actually on the shelf.
  • Fresh Egg 30s -- and the grade is the catch. Kuching prints RM16.99 for (L), Miri RM16.69 for (M), Bintulu RM16.99 for (M). Bintulu therefore pays Kuching's price for a smaller egg. Limit 2 trays everywhere.
  • Ayamas Honey Chicken Frankfurters 300g -- RM4.69 Kuching, RM4.49 Bintulu. Miri runs a different brand in that slot, SCCS Honey Chicken Frankfurters 300g at RM4.29.
  • Chicken nuggets are the worst like-for-like trap on the sheet. Bintulu gets SCCS Chicken Nugget Tempura 800g at RM9.99; Miri gets the 450g pack of the same line at RM9.69. That is RM12.49 a kilo against RM21.53 a kilo, for 30 sen difference on the shelf label. Kuching runs neither, and prints First Pride Fried Crispy Chicken Nuggets 800g at RM19.69 instead.
  • Rice: Kuching prices it, Bintulu prices it, Miri does not. Kuching has Winter Blossom Premium White Rice 10kg at RM24.99 (limit 2 packets); Bintulu has Liansin Uncle Tan Premium Rice 10kg at RM29.99. The Miri flyer runs the same Liansin Uncle Tan 10kg tile but prints three red stars where the price should be -- there is no figure on the artwork at all. Miri shoppers cannot know that price before they reach the shelf.
  • Detergent is a size swap, not a price cut. Kuching and Bintulu both run TOP Liquid Detergent 3.2kg at RM16.99. Miri runs Breeze Liquid Detergent 1.5kg at RM10.69 instead -- RM5.31 a kilo against RM7.13, so the Miri tile is the poorer buy despite the smaller number.
  • The non-food slot is a different product in each region: a Scotch-Brite Hands Free Mop with compact bucket at RM125.99 in Kuching, a CTH 292/5 Dolphin 5-layer drawer at RM145.99 in Miri, and a Scotch-Brite 333 spiral ball on buy 2 free 1 at RM5.99 in Bintulu.
  • Noodles: Nongshim Ramyun 120g x5 at RM16.69 in Kuching and Miri; Bintulu gets Samyang Ramen 130g-145g x5 at RM21.99 instead.

Identical at all three, no regional gap at all: Ligo Whole Kernel Corn 425g RM2.99, Vinda Toilet Roll 16s RM26.69 (save RM9.50, limit 2 packets), Wyeth S-26 Gold Progress Milk Powder 1.65kg RM138.99 (save RM11.00), Dutch Lady UHT 1L x 4 RM24.99, MILO 3 in 1 Activ Go 14s RM14.39, Heaven and Earth 1.5L RM4.29, Sunsilk Shampoo 300ml RM9.69, Red Eagle Cooking Oil 5kg RM35.99 (limit 2 bottles), Grant Burge 750ml RM53.99 and Porkies Pork Luncheon Meat 340g RM8.99. The non-halal block is marked exclude Metrocity on the Kuching sheet and carries no exclusion in Miri or Bintulu.

What actually moved since Friday

Three of today's prices are worth setting against the weekend sheet you may already have seen:

  • Vinda Toilet Roll 16s has not moved: RM26.69, save RM9.50, limit 2. It was RM26.69 on the weekend sheet too. The only time it was cheaper this weekend was on the Bintulu Rahmah Madani sheet at RM20.90, and that sale ended yesterday at 1.30pm.
  • Porkies Pork Luncheon Meat 340g fell from RM9.39 to RM8.99 across Sarawak. It was RM11.99 at KK Imago in Sabah on the same weekend.
  • Wyeth S-26 is the trap. Saturday's Price Crush had S-26 Progress 1.65kg at RM101.99; today's flash sale has S-26 Gold Progress 1.65kg at RM138.99. Those are different tiers of the same range, not a RM37 overnight increase. Read the word "Gold" before you assume you missed a better price.

Should you go today

Go if you are in one of the 11 stores' catchments, you already have Grab on your phone, and the flat-priced heavy items are what you need: the Red Eagle 5kg oil at RM35.99 with a two-bottle limit, the S-26 Gold at RM138.99, or two packs of Vinda. Those cost the same in Kuching, Miri and Bintulu, so there is no reason to drive between regions for them.

Go to Kuching specifically for butter and crackers. RM12.69 Westgold and RM7.29 Jacob's are the two lines where Kuching is meaningfully cheaper than the other two regions today.
