> Quick view: the flyer hanging at Everrise KK Imago right now prints the number RM100,000 twice, for two entirely different contests, and explains the mechanic of neither. One is Everrise's own 33rd Anniversary draw — members, RM100 in a single receipt, running to 31 December 2026. The other is QL Eggs' Beli & Menang Telur Emas — RM15 of QL products, entered by QR scan, running to 30 September 2026. A third draw, Vida Buy & Win, is still dated to 30 September but has quietly dropped off the sheet. Below: what each one actually asks of you, why the anniversary prices were not better than an ordinary weekend, and a correction to what this article previously said about Everrise's gift-with-purchase offers.
Two RM100,000 contests, one flyer, no rules printed
Everrise published its 33rd Anniversary Members' Weekend flyer for KK Imago on 3 September 2026, for a run of 4 to 6 September. The header ribbon carries a large gold star reading "THE MORE YOU SPEND, THE MORE YOU WIN WORTH RM100,000" — and nothing else. No spend threshold, no prize list, no dates, no entry step.
Two panels below it, the QL Eggs block says: "With a minimum spend of RM15 in a single receipt, stand a chance to win prizes worth over RM100,000!"
A shopper standing in the aisle with that one sheet has no way to tell those two apart. They are not the same contest, and the difference is large.
Contest 1 — Everrise 33rd Anniversary Celebration
The mechanic is not on the Sabah flyer at all. It appears on Everrise's Kuching sheets of 5 and 6 September 2026, which spell it out in full:
- Period: 4 September to 31 December 2026
- Where: @ All Outlets — so KK Imago is included
- Who: members
- What you spend: RM100 in a single receipt, storewide
- Grand prize: RM10,000 cash, 1 winner
- First prize: RM5,000 cash, 1 winner
- Special prize: Disney Cruise, 2 winners
Everrise has not published terms and conditions for it. Draw dates are unstated, and whether one qualifying receipt equals one entry — or whether a RM300 receipt counts three times, which the "the more you spend, the more you win" wording hints at — is not stated on any of Everrise's September 2026 flyers. Keep your receipts.
Contest 2 — QL Eggs "Beli & Menang Telur Emas"
This one is printed in full on the KK Imago sheet, and it is a supplier campaign, not Everrise's:
- Period: 1 August to 30 September 2026
- What you spend: a minimum of RM15 of QL products in a single receipt
- How you enter: "Beli, Imbas & Menang" — buy, scan, win. There is a QR code on the flyer; the entry happens there, not at the till.
- Grand prize: one Telur Emas 65g — a golden egg — worth RM45,750
- 20x Plat Emas (gold bars), RM44,300 in total
- 650x e-wallet credits of RM50, RM20 and RM10
Add those up and QL's own "over RM100,000" claim holds: roughly RM90,050 in gold plus several thousand ringgit of e-wallet credit across 650 winners.
The practical point for a KK shopper: QL's draw is 6.7 times cheaper to enter — RM15 of eggs against RM100 of anything — and it has 671 winners against Everrise's four. Everrise's prizes are far bigger; QL's odds are far better.
The third draw: Vida Buy & Win, dated to 30 September but off the flyer
The 28 to 31 August 2026 KK Imago flyer carried a Vida panel in the top-right corner reading "BUY & WIN! valid till 30 SEPT 2026", "GRAND PRIZE x 1", "Purchase any VIDA products worth RM10 & above (in a single receipt)", for an Everrise cash voucher worth RM890.
That panel is not on the 4 to 6 September sheet. Its slot now belongs to QL.
Two readings are possible, and nothing published settles it: either the campaign is still running to its printed 30 September date and Everrise simply gave the corner to a different supplier this week, or it ended early. Everrise has published nothing either way. If the Vida draw is your reason for the trip, ask at the counter before you shop — RM10 of drinks is a trivial add-on to a grocery run, but it is not worth a special journey on a mechanic that has left the artwork.
That corner box is worth watching in general. It changes weekly and it is the only place these longer supplier campaigns are announced: 14-16 August carried a PWP promotion instead (100PLUS isotonic 1.5L at RM2.79 and Ribena 850ml at RM9.99 with a storewide single receipt, excluding infant milk), 28-31 August carried Vida, and 4-6 September carries QL.
The anniversary sheet was not cheaper than an ordinary weekend
This is the finding most likely to save you money, and it runs against the artwork.
Comparing the 33rd Anniversary sheet of 4-6 September against the ordinary Members' Weekend sheet of 28-31 August — same store, one week apart — four lines that appear on both are priced identically:
- China Red Globe / Shine Muscat grapes 500g — RM9.39 on 28-31 Aug, RM9.39 on 4-6 Sep
- New Zealand Envy apples 6s — RM15.99 on 28-31 Aug, RM15.99 on 4-6 Sep
- QL Omega eggs (M) 30s — RM18.59 on 28-31 Aug, RM18.59 on 4-6 Sep
- Porkies pork luncheon meat 340g — RM11.99 on 28-31 Aug, RM11.99 on 4-6 Sep
And the same weekend, in Sarawak, Everrise Kuching's Members' Best Value sheet of 6 September sold that Porkies luncheon meat 340g at RM8.99 — RM3 less than Kota Kinabalu, for the identical product on the identical day. Everrise prices its four regions on separate flyers, and a Kuching price is not a Sabah price.
The anniversary sheet does have its own lines — Sanitarium So Good high-protein soy or oat 1L at RM14.79, Anggur Biru Super 5% rice 5kg at RM14.49, NZ Zespri green kiwi 5s at RM11.99, Peru jumbo blueberries 125g at RM13.99, Australia Vitor navel oranges 6s at RM14.59, Oatside oat milk 180ml x 3 at RM5.59, Gurmex jam 400g at RM10.29, CED pure honey 380g at RM8.99, Head & Shoulders shampoo 300ml at RM14.99, Daia powder detergent 2.1-2.3kg at RM14.99, a Panalux PRC-118 rice cooker at RM75.99 and Carlsberg 320ml x 6 at RM36.99. The footer carries the usual four lines: *prices shown are for members only, all prices in Ringgit Malaysia, price subject to change without prior notice, while stocks last*.
But treat "anniversary" as a theme, not as a discount. Check the number, not the badge.
Correction: Everrise does publish brand gift-with-purchase offers
An earlier version of this article, having failed to find the Carina apron anywhere in Everrise's archive, drew a structural conclusion from it: that "Everrise's official feed publishes outlet price flyers, not brand gift-with-purchase activations," and that there would be no announcement for the next such giveaway either.
The very next KK Imago flyer disproves that. The 4-6 September sheet carries a dedicated "Gift with Purchase" panel, headed *(in a single receipt / While stocks last!)*:
- FREE one Bag Bestie — spend RM80 of DUGRO Sure Plus / Dugro Sure
- FREE water bottle collection — spend RM38 on selected Haleon products
Note the second one: RM38, single receipt, one brand's products, a guaranteed physical gift. That is the same shape as the Carina apron, published on the official feed. So the narrower statement is the accurate one: the Carina apron specifically was never posted, and that tells you about that one offer, not about a chain-wide policy.
The same header ribbon also flags Bundle Deals, a Care Package bundle, a "Let's Go Green" Everrise tote and Special Merchandise — a container at PWP RM8.99 — again as badges without printed mechanics. Ask in store.
The Carina apron, for the record
The offer was a free Carina apron with a single receipt of RM38 or more that included at least one Carina product *and* one item from the Carina Kitchen Series. RM38 of unrelated groceries did not qualify, and splitting the spend across two receipts did not count. It ran at KK Imago from 29 July 2026 on a while-stocks-last basis with no published end date, and it has ended.
Searching Everrise's post archive for "Carina" or "apron" returns nothing — not an expired listing, not a delisted one. A generic term like "gift" does return real posts, so the archive is searchable; those two simply were never in it.
KK Imago is not a neglected store — 73 flyers in 2026
An earlier version of this article also said Everrise's campaigns were "Sarawak-only" and that no Kota Kinabalu campaign was listed. Both were wrong.
Enumerating Everrise's post archive for 2026 returns 461 posts, of which 73 name KK Imago — a flyer for that single Sabah store in most weeks of the year: 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31 July, then 7, 14 and 28 August, then 4 September. The one week with no KK Imago post in that run is 21-23 August, which is the exact week the original check was made. A single blank week got read as a permanent pattern.
What *is* true is that KK Imago gets fewer kinds of flyer than Kuching. In the first week of September, Kuching received a 33rd Anniversary weekend sheet, a 1 Day Price Crush for 5 September, a Members' Best Value sheet for 6 September and a Program Jualan Rahmah MADANI run at Batu Kawah. Miri and Bintulu got two or three of those. KK Imago got one — the anniversary weekend sheet, and nothing since. If you shop in Kota Kinabalu, one flyer a week is the realistic cadence.
Who this suits, and who should skip
Enter the QL draw if you buy eggs at all. RM15 of QL products is one tray plus change, the entry is a QR scan you can do standing at the car, and 671 prizes is a materially different proposition from a four-winner draw. It closes 30 September 2026.
Enter the Everrise anniversary draw passively — do not build a basket for it. A RM100 grocery receipt is an ordinary weekly shop for a family, so if you were shopping at Everrise anyway you are already in. It runs to 31 December, so there is no urgency, and with no published terms you cannot plan around draw dates.
Skip the Vida draw as a reason to travel until you have confirmed it at the counter. It is off the current flyer.
Skip the anniversary framing entirely if you were expecting deeper discounts. Four of the lines that appear on both sheets were priced the same as the week before, and one was RM3 dearer than Kuching.
Skip all of it if you are in Peninsular Malaysia. Everrise has 21 outlets, all in East Malaysia, and exactly one in Sabah.
How to catch the next Everrise KK Imago campaign
- Watch the outlet, not the chain. Everrise posts a separate flyer per outlet and Kuching dominates the feed. On Everrise's promotions page, look for the post ending in "KK Imago" — everything else is noise for a Sabah shopper.
- Expect one post a week, usually Wednesday or Thursday. In 2026 the KK Imago sheet has landed midweek for a Friday-to-Sunday run, with a fourth day added when a public holiday follows.
- Read the corner box first, then the star. Longer supplier campaigns — Vida, QL, the PWP weeks — are announced only in that corner, and they outlive the three-day price list around them.
- Do not trust an unexplained number. A big figure with no mechanic printed beside it belongs to nobody until you find the sheet that explains it. In this case the rules were on another state's flyer.
- Call before a special trip. The Sabah outlet is on 088-273 399 (or 016-886 0933), at B 01, Imago Shopping Mall, Off Coastal Highway, 88100 Kota Kinabalu, open 10am-10pm daily.
