> Quick view: The Fitness Concept roadshow at AEON Mall Kota Bharu ended on 2 August 2026 and the booth has packed up. What is still live is the campaign behind it — the "Strong Heart, Strong Malaysia" Mega Sale, advertised on Fitness Concept's own homepage banner as running July through 26 September 2026 at up to 60% off, with an RM100 birthday rebate for July, August and September babies. Re-checked 1 September 2026: every price below still holds exactly, but five of the seven machines are now out of stock online — and the deepest live cut anywhere on the site is not in the campaign at all.
The roadshow is over — and you never needed it
The touring booth on the Ground Floor of AEON Mall Kota Bharu ran 20 July to 2 August 2026. It is gone. The part of the original pitch that does not survive scrutiny is the idea that it was a rare chance to try equipment in person in Kelantan: Fitness Concept's own store locator lists two permanent Kota Bharu outlets, and one of them is in that same mall, two floors up from where the booth stood. Both were still listed on 1 September 2026, with the details below unchanged.
- AEON Mall Kota Bharu (JKB) — Lot S-25, Second Floor, Kampung Sireh, Jalan Jambatan Sultan Yahya Petra, 15050 Kota Bharu. Tel 09-740 6018. Sat–Wed 10am–10pm; Thu, Fri & public holidays 10am–10.30pm (closed Fri 12.30–2.30pm for Friday prayers).
- Kota Bharu Mall (KBM) — Lt 1.21, 1st Floor, Jalan Hamzah, 15050 Kota Bharu. Tel 09-747 8781. Daily 10am–10pm (closed Fri 12.30–2.30pm for Friday prayers).
What the Mega Sale discount actually looks like
The banner headlines "UP TO 60% OFF". The campaign collection holds 108 products, and on 1 September 2026 the deepest cut inside it was still 40% — on RM29 hiking poles — while the cardio machines most people come for sit far below the headline. The prices are unchanged from our August check. Availability is not, so each line carries its stock status as at 1 September:
- SOLE E25 Elliptical (new version) — RM8,900 from RM12,550, a 29% cut. Out of stock online.
- FC Pro 9 Treadmill — RM5,200 from RM6,800, 24%. Out of stock online.
- NordicTrack T Series 8 — RM8,720 from RM10,900, 20%. Out of stock online.
- FC Pro 8 Treadmill (ready stock) — RM4,498 from RM5,498, 18%. In stock, and one of only two machines here you can actually add to cart.
- FC SlimRun Pro Treadmill — RM3,140 from RM3,800, 17%. Out of stock online.
- FC IC15i Spin Bike — RM5,680 from RM6,850, 17%. In stock.
- FC Dual-Sided Walking Pad with massage — RM1,300 from RM1,600, 19%. Out of stock online.
Read "up to 60%" as a ceiling that small accessories reach and treadmills do not. On a RM5,000 machine a genuine 18–24% is still RM900–RM1,600 off — worth having, just not the number on the poster. Check the stock line before you plan a trip: an out-of-stock product page replaces the add-to-cart button with a "subscribe to back in stock notification" box, which is the only reliable signal, and the Kota Bharu shop floor may still hold a unit the website will not sell you.
The deepest cut on the site is not in the campaign
The one thing that beats the advertised ceiling sits outside the Mega Sale collection entirely, in the 115-item Sale rail — the ex-display machines. Checked 1 September 2026:
- Hammer Sport Water Effect 3D Rower (display unit) — RM4,190 from RM11,850. That is 65% off, the deepest cut anywhere on the site and above the campaign's own headline number. In stock.
- TRAX X5 Elliptical (display unit) — RM1,200 from RM2,600, 54% off. Out of stock online.
- Schwinn Airdyne AD2i (display unit) — RM2,300 from RM3,950, 42% off. In stock.
These are floor-used units, so inspect one before buying and ask what warranty carries over. But if the 60% headline is what drew you in, this rail is the only place on the site where it is real — and the ProForm CardioHIIT display unit we flagged in August at RM5,600 has since gone, which is how fast this rail turns over.
The Merdeka flash sale has closed
A "Merdeka Flash Deals" sub-collection ran inside the campaign from 28 to 31 August 2026, adding a spend-and-get voucher ladder on top of the listed prices: RM100 off RM1,500, RM150 off RM4,000 and RM200 off RM8,000. It ended on 31 August — but its page is still live and still lists 14 products, so a link from a search result or a shared post can look current when the voucher tier behind it is gone. The Mega Sale runs five sub-collections in all: Fitness and Wellness, Give the Gift, Kids Fitness, Special Promotion, and the now-closed Merdeka Flash Deals.
The extras that stack
- RM100 birthday rebate — stated on the campaign banner for July, August and September babies, T&Cs apply. If your birthday falls in this window, this is the single best reason to buy before 26 September rather than after.
- RM50 off your first purchase — Fitness Concept's newsletter signup issues an RM50 storewide voucher code to new subscribers.
- Free shipping above RM500, and a 7-day exchange window, both site-wide with T&Cs.
- All three were still advertised on the Fitness Concept homepage on 1 September 2026, each as a separate offer carrying its own terms rather than as a guaranteed stack.
Who this suits — and who should skip
Buy now if your birthday falls in July, August or September, you were already shopping for an FC Pro 8 or an IC15i, or you want a display unit from the Sale rail — that rail is where the real depth is. Skip if you were waiting for the roadshow's free gifts and cash vouchers, or for the Merdeka spend-and-get vouchers; both have closed and neither is published as part of the ongoing online campaign. Skip too if you had your eye on one of the five machines now out of stock and cannot wait — ring the Kota Bharu store before travelling rather than assuming the website reflects the shop floor.
Worked example
An FC Pro 8 treadmill at RM4,498 (from RM5,498) is RM1,000 off, and it is one of only two campaign machines still buyable online. Add the RM50 newsletter voucher and, if you qualify, the RM100 birthday rebate, and you are at roughly RM4,348 — about 21% off list, with delivery included on the RM500-plus threshold. Confirm each rebate's terms at the counter before paying; they are advertised separately, not as a guaranteed stack. For scale, the Hammer display rower at RM4,190 costs less than that treadmill while carrying a RM7,660 nominal saving — a completely different machine, but the only place the poster's headline number is honest.
