Genting Highlands Attraction Prices 2026: The Booking Window That Halves a Ticket, and the Museum That Is Packing for Melaka

The resort's flagship outdoor theme park publishes its Malaysian and non-Malaysian rates on two separate pages that do not mention each other, which is the root of almost every wrong figure quoted online. On the Malaysian card, a Standard adult ticket is RM88 online, marked SAVE RM80, and RM168 walk-in or same-day; the page states the RM88 rate is only valid for tickets bought at least one day in advance. A child, senior citizen or guest with disabilities pays RM38 online and RM65 walk-in. On the non-Malaysian card the same Standard adult ticket is RM168 online, marked SAVE RM30, and RM198 walk-in, with child, senior and guest-with-disabilities tickets at RM65 either way. Read those two together and the practical point is stark: a Malaysian who arrives without a booking pays RM168, precisely the online price a foreign visitor pays. Every ticket type on both cards includes three Virtual Queue Reservations. The complimentary RM10 F&B or retail e-voucher attaches to walk-in Standard tickets and is released only after you link the ticket in the Genting SkyWorlds mobile app, so it is not a discount you can spend at the gate. Prices are quoted in ringgit and stated to be inclusive of service tax and entertainment duty where applicable. When the page was re-read on 14 October 2026, every price was unchanged, but two other things had changed. The park now lists its hours as 10am to 6pm daily and says it is closed every Tuesday, except on Malaysian national public holidays and school holidays. A separate calendar shows the Tuesdays it opens. And for visits from 14 October to 15 November 2026 (bookings opened on 29 September), every 1-Day Standard ticket, online or walk-in and Malaysian or not, comes with an e-voucher for one snack of your choice and one mineral water. The voucher lands in the Genting SkyWorlds app once you link the ticket there, and you redeem it at Jetpack, Chips and Dips, EXO Grab 'N' Go or Han's Cha Chaan Teng on the day of your visit.

Skytropolis sits inside SkyAvenue and runs whatever the weather does, which on this hill matters. The 1-Day Unlimited Ride Pass is RM70 online and RM90 walk-in for a Malaysian, and RM90 online and RM110 walk-in for a non-Malaysian, with the online rate marked SAVE RM20 on both cards. Then comes the line no aggregator reprints: a Pahang Citizens Rate of RM54 against the RM90 normal price, marked SAVE RM36, valid for the 1-Day Unlimited Ride Pass and available to MyKad holders whose card carries a Pahang state code. Genting Highlands is in Pahang, so a Bentong or Kuantan family is paying barely half what a walk-in visitor pays for the same wristband. The park also sells pay-per-ride tickets at RM16 for a family ride, RM16 for an adventure ride and RM22 for a thrill ride, each valid for one ride on one attraction. That makes the arithmetic simple: at RM16 to RM22 a ride, three rides cost RM48 to RM66 and beat the RM70 online pass, while four rides do not. One quirk worth knowing before you budget for children: the published pass has no child price at all, so an adult and a child pay the same. Since 4 September there is also an Adventure Combo, valid to 31 December 2026. It bundles the 1-Day Unlimited Ride Pass with Pontianak, Jurassic Research Centre and the Eagle Landing Zipline for RM102 for a Malaysian or RM122 for a non-Malaysian. The price is the same at every age, and the ticket is valid for same-day use. Bought one by one at the Malaysian online rates, those four come to RM175 (RM70 + RM30 + RM30 + RM45), so the combo saves RM73 a head. For a non-Malaysian the separate total is RM195, which is also a RM73 saving. The combo cannot be stacked with other promotions. On 14 October the page also listed Super Glider and The Bolt as temporarily unavailable, and gave park hours of 11am to 9pm, or to 10pm on Saturdays.

The cable car from Awana Sky Sentral at mid-hill to the top is the cheapest headline number on the mountain and the easiest place to accidentally triple your spend. A standard gondola is RM11 one way and RM19 return, shared with eight to ten passengers, and it includes a stopover at Chin Swee Caves Temple. Adding express boarding takes it to RM17 one way and RM32 return. The glass floor gondola is RM32 one way and RM54 return at the normal price, or RM29 and RM48 as an online exclusive rate, seating six, and the page notes it must be purchased one day before the ride. Senior citizens pay RM6 one way and RM10 return on the standard gondola, RM10 and RM18 with express boarding, and RM13 and RM26 on the glass floor; guests with disabilities pay the same RM6 and RM10 standard fare, and the glass floor has no OKU rate listed. A chartered gondola is RM324 one way and RM594 return, standard or glass floor, for a private non-shared ride. Two charges catch people out at the station: oversized baggage is a RM22 one-way or RM38 return surcharge, because each passenger may bring only one cabin-size bag into the gondola, and lockers run RM22 small, RM44 medium and RM65 large and are open 24 hours. The same page now says tickets bought in advance are valid for 30 days from purchase. It also lists the Awana SkyWay as temporarily unavailable from 12 to 16 October 2026 for its fourth-quarter maintenance. During that window the Genting SkyWay from Gohtong Jaya runs from 7am to 11pm instead, at standard-gondola prices.

Snow World Genting Highlands sells through the OnlyTicket portal, and its two rate cards are the clearest MyKad split on the hill. With a MyKad or MyKid: adult RM88, child from 90cm to 130cm RM68, senior citizen aged 60 and above RM68. Without: adult RM118, child RM88, senior RM88. That is a RM30 gap on an adult ticket and RM20 on a child. Both cards state that ticket pricing is inclusive of jacket rental worth RM28, which is worth checking against any third-party listing that quotes a cheaper entry and then charges for the jacket separately. The Malaysian card carries three conditions in plain sight: the rate is for Malaysian citizens only with a Malaysian identification card, guests must produce the physical card for verification before admission, and if you buy the wrong ticket you must top up the difference against the walk-in rate to get in. Tickets bought online are valid for one year from the date of purchase, which makes this one of the few attractions here you can buy ahead of an undecided date without losing the money. On OnlyTicket on 14 October 2026 all six prices were unchanged, and Snow World's own site gives daily hours of 10am to 10pm.

The resort's mid-hill glasshouse garden is the newest ticketed attraction here and the only one whose price carries a published expiry. Malaysian adults pay RM35 and non-Malaysian adults RM45. Children aged 3 to 12, senior citizens aged 60 and above and guests with disabilities pay RM15 Malaysian and RM25 non-Malaysian. The page states plainly that introductory prices are only applicable from 30 April to 31 December 2026, so this is one gate where the 2027 price is an open question. A combination ticket bundling park entry with a cable car return trip starts at RM47 for a Malaysian and RM57 for a non-Malaysian, which prices the cable car leg at about RM12 against RM19 bought on its own. Two things to plan around. Opening hours are 10am to 6pm, five hours short of the retail and dining floors below, so this cannot be an evening stop. And from 1 October 2026 all Eufloria attractions close every Wednesday, except during Malaysian public holidays and school holidays. Before that the closure covered both Wednesday and Thursday. The resort publishes a separate calendar of the Wednesdays it does open. The park also sells an Eco-Educational Package from RM138 per person for school and group learning journeys.

The Eagle Landing zipline is run by Only World Group, not by Resorts World Genting, and it runs from the fourth floor of SkyAvenue's west wing about 200 metres across to the east wing, finishing above Skytropolis, at speeds the operator describes as up to 25km/h in ideal conditions. It is priced by group size rather than by age or citizenship, and the ladder is unusually steep. One person is RM45. Two people are RM65, which is RM32.50 each. Four people are RM120, which is RM30 each. Going as a pair rather than alone therefore cuts the per-person price by more than a quarter, and there is no child or senior rate to complicate the sum. Tickets bought online through the OnlyTicket portal are valid for one year from the date of purchase, so a group that is not sure which weekend it is going can still buy at the group rate now. This is one of the few attractions on the hill with no Malaysian or non-Malaysian split at all, which makes it, in relative terms, the best value here for a visiting family and the least distinctive one for a local. On 14 October 2026 the OnlyTicket prices were unchanged. The zipline is also one of the four parts of Skytropolis' RM102 Adventure Combo, which runs to 31 December.

The walk-throughs are the cheapest ticketed things to do on the hill, they all cost the same, and they are not all in the same building. Jurassic Research Center is RM30, sold as one category covering adults and children of 90cm and above, with no child, senior or citizenship rate — and it sits inside Ripley's Adventureland on Level 4, SkyAvenue, alongside Zombie Outbreak, a second RM30 walk-through that Resorts World Genting still lists at that price and that most price round-ups miss entirely. Pontianak is also RM30 on the same single-category basis, but it is not at SkyAvenue at all: the resort puts it at T2B-07, Level T2B, First World Plaza, a separate building a cable-car stop away from the others. Its listing also carries a condition the dinosaur attraction does not: please purchase your ticket a minimum of one day before entering the attraction. Read that twice, because it means a walk-up on the day may not be possible even though the price is identical either way. Both Jurassic and Pontianak are sold through the OnlyTicket portal, and Jurassic Research Center tickets are valid for one year from the date of purchase. For a family choosing between these and a full ride pass, the sum is simple: two adults and two children through two walk-throughs costs RM240, against RM280 for four Skytropolis online day passes at the Malaysian rate. Before you buy a multi-attraction Ripley's combo rather than single tickets, check at the counter which components are open — see the note above on the Odditorium. On OnlyTicket on 14 October 2026, Jurassic Research Center and Pontianak were both still RM30. Both are also bundled into Skytropolis' RM102 Adventure Combo to 31 December, together with the day pass and the zipline.

The bowling alley is the quiet answer to the hill's weather, and the only attraction here priced by day of the week rather than by citizenship or booking window. A normal game is RM12 off-peak and RM14 peak, with off-peak defined as Monday to Thursday and peak as Friday to Sunday, national and school holidays and the eve of public holidays. Shoe rental is RM4 and socks are RM4 to buy, charged at the same rate off-peak and peak, which means the real entry price for someone arriving without their own shoes is RM16 on a weekday and RM18 at the weekend for one game. Opening hours run 12pm to 11pm on Fridays, Sundays and the eve of public holidays, with a 3pm start from Monday to Thursday. Three games for a family of four at the weekend comes to RM168 in games plus RM64 in shoes, which is worth setting against a single adult SkyWorlds walk-in ticket at RM168 before you decide how the afternoon goes.
