The X9e Pro is HONOR's new mid-range "tough phone" for Malaysia, sold under the tagline *Pilihan Utama Rakyat Malaysia*. We checked the pre-order page on honor.com/my on 28 September 2026 and read the offer lines, the gift list and the full spec sheet. Here is what you get and what it is really worth.

What the pre-order bundle includes

  • The phone: HONOR X9e Pro in Royal Purple, Reddish Brown, Dawn Gold or Midnight Black.
  • Price: RM1,799 for 8GB+256GB (list RM1,899) and RM2,299 for 8GB+512GB (list RM2,399). Both carry a RM100 "Limited Time Special" rebate.
  • Free HONOR Pad X7 (Wi-Fi, 4GB+128GB, grey), listed by HONOR at RM599.
  • Free 1 Year Extended Warranty, listed at RM129.
  • Free HONOR Rakyat Care+, listed at RM798. HONOR describes it as 730 days of front and back crack replacement plus 730 days of liquid damage cover.
  • Free delivery and 0% instalments over 6, 12 or 24 months. HONOR shows RM149.92 x 12 for the 256GB model and RM95.79 x 24 for the 512GB.

How to order, step by step

  1. Go to the HONOR X9e Pro buy page on honor.com/my, pick the memory and colour. The three gifts are added to the cart automatically at RM0.
  2. Optional trade-in: trade in your old device with Remobie through the link on the same page, fill in your details and you receive an e-voucher code worth RM100.
  3. Apply the code at checkout on honor.com/my. Remobie then arranges collection of your old device.
  4. Pay by 8 October 2026. HONOR says pre-orders ship from 9 October 2026 in order of payment, so earlier payers get their phones first.

What the phone actually is

On paper this is a durability-and-battery phone. HONOR's spec sheet lists an 11,000mAh battery (10,510mAh rated) with 80W wired charging and 27W reverse charging, a 6.8-inch AMOLED screen with up to 10,000 nits peak brightness and Gorilla Glass Victus 2, IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K water and dust ratings, and a 108MP main camera with OIS. The chip is a Snapdragon 6 Gen 5, which is firmly mid-range. It runs MagicOS 10 on Android 16, with NFC and Wi-Fi 6E. It is not a gaming or flagship-camera phone, and the "24GB" memory figure on the spec page includes 16GB of virtual RAM Turbo. The real RAM is 8GB.

Worked examples: what you really save

  • Cash saved on the 256GB: RM1,899 minus RM1,799 = RM100. With the Remobie voucher, RM200 off list, so RM1,699 out of pocket (whatever Remobie offers for your old phone is a separate quote).
  • If you want a tablet too: the Pad X7 is listed at RM599. Phone plus tablet for RM1,799 against RM2,498 at list is RM699 of real value.
  • The headline RM1,626: RM100 rebate + RM599 tablet + RM129 warranty + RM798 Rakyat Care+. That last RM927 is protection you may never claim on. Count it only if you would have paid for accidental cover anyway.
  • 256GB or 512GB? The bigger model costs RM500 more for the same phone with an extra 256GB. Most people who do not shoot a lot of 4K video will be fine on 256GB.

Who it is good for, and who should skip it

Good for: outdoor workers, riders and parents who break or drown phones, anyone who wants two-day battery life, and households that were going to buy a basic tablet for the kids anyway.

Skip it if you need strong gaming performance or a flagship camera, or if you can wait. Launch bundles often end once pre-orders close, but prices on mid-range phones in Malaysia also tend to dip during mega sales.

Fine print that trips people up

  • The gifts are tied to this pre-order window. HONOR's wording is to "secure your pre-order from 24th Sept to 8th Oct 2026" to get the Pad X7.
  • The RM100 trade-in voucher needs Remobie first. You cannot claim it at checkout without the code from Remobie.
  • The paid add-on on the page is an "Extended 3rd Year Warranty" at RM179. You do not need it to get the free 1-year extension.
  • Marketplace listings may differ. HONOR also sells through its official Shopee and Lazada stores, where platform vouchers and coins change the final price. Compare the checkout total, not the headline.
