> Quick view: Senheng and senQ are running a 37th Anniversary campaign to 30 November 2026 that advertises up to RM1,030 in vouchers on a minimum spend of RM1,500. Those two numbers belong to different tiers. RM1,500 earns RM910 of face value, RM1,030 needs RM7,000, and in every tier RM850 of the total is locked to four specific products. The genuinely free-to-spend part is RM60, RM120 or RM180.
Senheng has been selling appliances in Malaysia since 1989, and its anniversary sale is one of the bigger electrical campaigns of the year. This one is branded Your Gift, Your Choice, and Senheng's own landing page sums it up as an RM10 million giveaway.
It is worth reading slowly, because it is not one offer. It is four, they have different rules, and two of them are not discounts at all.
Everything below was read off senheng.com.my on 12 September 2026: the anniversary landing page, its reward poster, the voucher terms, the S-Coin help pages and the individual product pages quoted.
The four offers, and their dates
- 37% S-Coin cashback on selected products. Senheng calls this the Anniversary Reward. No end date is published for it on the campaign page.
- A voucher ladder worth up to RM1,030, out of a pool Senheng values at RM5 million, on a minimum spend of RM1,500. Qualifying period 1 September to 30 November 2026.
- An AEON Credit Easy Payment draw with RM20,000 in prizes, on a minimum spend of RM2,000 in a single receipt, 1 September to 30 November 2026.
- A RM100 UOB instant rebate on a minimum spend of RM3,000 in a single transaction, 1 September to 30 November 2026.
What is actually in the voucher ladder
Senheng's reward poster lists six vouchers, labelled A to F:
- A: RM30 Christmas Gift Voucher, valid 1 to 31 December 2026
- B: RM30 Chinese New Year Voucher, valid 1 January to 28 February 2027
- C: RM75 Joyoung Chopper discount voucher, valid 1 September to 31 December 2026
- D: RM75 Joyoung Healthy Pot discount voucher, same validity
- E: RM100 Joyoung Kettle discount voucher, same validity
- F: RM600 Viomi Smart Door Lock discount voucher, same validity
The three spending tiers hand out different quantities of A and B, and exactly one each of C, D, E and F at every level:
- Spend RM1,500 to RM3,999: A x1, B x1, C, D, E, F x1. Face value RM910.
- Spend RM4,000 to RM6,999: A x2, B x2, C, D, E, F x1. Face value RM970.
- Spend RM7,000 and above: A x3, B x3, C, D, E, F x1. Face value RM1,030.
Where the headline goes wrong
The campaign page says: up to RM1,030 in vouchers, with a minimum spend of RM1,500. Read as one sentence, it sounds like RM1,500 buys RM1,030. It does not. RM1,500 buys RM910, and the RM1,030 number belongs to the tier that starts at RM7,000.
The gap between the tiers is smaller than it looks, too. Moving from the bottom of the first tier to the start of the third means spending RM5,500 more, and the extra reward is RM120 of voucher face value, because the RM850 block of product vouchers never changes.
Only RM60 of it can be spent on anything you like
This is the part no aggregator prints. Of the RM910 at the bottom tier, RM850 is four product-locked vouchers. They are only worth something if you want a Joyoung chopper, a Joyoung healthy pot, a Joyoung kettle and a Viomi smart door lock. Everything else you buy at Senheng is outside them.
The vouchers that behave like money are the two festive ones, the RM30 Christmas and the RM30 Chinese New Year. That is RM60 at the first tier, RM120 at the second and RM180 at the third.
Expressed as a rate on your spending, that unrestricted portion gets worse the more you spend: RM60 on RM1,500 is 4.0 per cent, RM120 on RM4,000 is 3.0 per cent, and RM180 on RM7,000 is 2.6 per cent.
There is a second trap in the product vouchers. Senheng's own terms say each voucher redeems one eligible product, only one voucher may be redeemed per transaction, and they cannot be combined with each other, with S-Coin, or with brand, repurchase, accessories, trade-in or Christmas vouchers. So using all four means four separate trips to the counter, for four appliances you may not want.
The festive vouchers are friendlier. Up to three of the same festive voucher can go into one transaction, so a top-tier shopper can put all RM90 of Christmas vouchers on one December purchase, and they can be combined with brand, repurchase, accessories and trade-in vouchers.
The 37% is on 91 of the 121 products Senheng lists
The anniversary page ends with a product rail headed "Explore more products that eligible for 37% S-Coin Cashback". We counted the cashback badge on every card in it on 12 September: 121 products, of which 91 carry 37%, 25 carry 20% and 5 carry 30%. Roughly one in four products sitting under a 37% heading is not at 37%.
The product pages confirm it in their own titles. The Samsung 65-inch Neo QLED QA65QN70FA at RM4,299 is titled "20% S-Coin Cashback" on Senheng's site, as is the Samsung 65-inch Mini LED M80H at RM3,999. The TCL 75-inch C6K QD-MiniLED at RM5,799 and the Skyworth 50-inch SUE8200 at RM1,759 are both titled "37% S-Coin Cashback". Check the rate on the product page before you commit to a model.
What S-Coin is actually worth
S-Coin is not money off your bill. Senheng's own help page sets the rate at 100 S-Coin to RM1, and the coins are redeemed against a rewards catalogue, either in store or through the S-Coin Rewards Centre in the Senheng app, which Senheng says carries more than 2,000 products.
Four conditions matter:
- Redeeming needs a paid PlusOne membership. Senheng's membership page prices the 3+2 year plan from RM36 and the lifetime plan from RM60, and says you join or renew by walking into an outlet.
- S-Coin issued from 1 January 2026 expires 12 months after it is issued, unless a campaign says otherwise. Coins earned in September 2026 are gone by September 2027.
- S-Coin is not transferable, and it is deducted if you return the product.
- Senheng's anniversary voucher terms say vouchers generally cannot be used together with S-Coin, apart from its RedeemPLUS+ campaign.
Two worked examples
Skyworth 50-inch SUE8200 QLED Google TV, RM1,759 (Senheng lists RM2,399 as the list price). It carries 37% S-Coin, so the purchase credits RM650.83 worth of S-Coin, or 65,083 coins. The receipt clears RM1,500, so it also earns the first voucher tier: RM910 of face value, of which RM60 is the two festive vouchers. Cash saved at the till on the day: nothing.
TCL 75-inch C6K Premium QD-MiniLED, RM5,799 (list RM8,399). Also 37%, so RM2,145.63 in S-Coin. The receipt lands in the RM4,000 to RM6,999 tier, so RM970 of voucher face value, of which RM120 is unrestricted. It clears RM3,000, so a UOB cardmember can ask for the RM100 rebate, and it clears RM2,000 for the AEON Credit draw.
Now the comparison that makes the S-Coin rate matter. The Samsung 65-inch Neo QLED at RM4,299 earns RM859.80 in S-Coin at 20%, while the TCL 75-inch at RM5,799 earns RM2,145.63 at 37%. The TCL costs RM1,500 more and credits RM1,285.83 more. Run the same check on anything you are comparing, because a rate difference of 17 points on a four-figure appliance is bigger than most price gaps.
The two card offers
UOB. RM100 instant rebate, minimum spend RM3,000 in a single transaction on an eligible UOB credit or debit card, 1 September to 30 November 2026. The terms cap it at 100 redemptions a month, first come first served, and limit it to Senheng and senQ retail outlets nationwide only, so an online order does not count. Read literally, the same terms say the offer cannot be used in conjunction with other promotions, discounts, coupons, vouchers, loyalty programmes or member privilege cards. Ask at the counter whether taking the RM100 costs you the anniversary vouchers before you pay.
AEON Credit. Pay with AEON Credit Easy Payment, spend at least RM2,000 in a single receipt between 1 September and 30 November 2026, download and sign up for AEON Wallet, and get your Easy Payment application approved. The first 333 approved customers each month get 2,000 AEON Points, and there is a draw for RM20,000 in prizes. Senheng's page still says the full AEON Credit terms will be updated once available, so the draw mechanics are not published yet.
Who this is for, and who should skip it
Take it if you were already going to buy a large appliance before 30 November, you are already a paying PlusOne member, you shop in store rather than online, and you shop at Senheng often enough to spend the S-Coin inside a year. If you genuinely want a smart door lock, the RM600 Viomi voucher is the single largest line in the whole ladder.
Skip it if you want money off today. Nothing in the voucher ladder or the S-Coin reduces the price on the day you pay. Skip it too if you are not a PlusOne member and do not want to pay RM36 or RM60 to become one, if you buy online, if you will not be back inside twelve months, or if you were about to buy a 20% model in the belief that everything on the page is at 37%.
Fine print that catches people
- Vouchers are redeemable at offline stores only, are not exchangeable for cash, and give no change if your purchase is worth less than the voucher.
- Vouchers cannot be used on insurance, reload coupons or gift cards.
- The reward poster's own footnote reads "Conditional sale. For PlusOne members only."
- Product vouchers are first come, first served, while stocks last.
- UOB's terms note that prices are subject to service charge and prevailing government taxes.
- The two festive vouchers are dated for December 2026 and January to February 2027. If you will not be near a Senheng in those windows, treat them as worth nothing.
