> Quick view: IKEA Malaysia is celebrating its 30th anniversary with a limited-edition IKEA x Touch 'n Go collectible card — spend RM500 in one receipt in-store (or Click & Collect with in-store pickup) and redeem it free, 10-31 August 2026, while stocks last.
What the card actually is
This isn't a discount coupon — it's a collectible loyalty card. IKEA Malaysia's own 30th Anniversary campaign page describes it as a card that combines two things you'd normally carry separately: your IKEA Family membership (the free loyalty programme that unlocks member-only prices and offers) and a standard reloadable Touch 'n Go card (usable for tolls, parking, public transport and retail top-ups, wherever Touch 'n Go is accepted).
Redeeming one gets you an in-store customisation step: your IKEA Family member number is printed directly onto the card, making it a personalised keepsake rather than a generic freebie.
How to redeem it
- Spend a minimum of RM500 — that's the threshold IKEA's own campaign page states
- The purchase can be made in-store at any IKEA Malaysia outlet, or online via Click & Collect — but only if you choose in-store pickup (a home-delivery Click & Collect order doesn't qualify per the campaign terms)
- You must hold a valid IKEA Family membership — sign-up is free and can typically be done on the spot if you're not already a member
- The card is customised and issued in-store, with your IKEA Family member ID printed on it
Where and when
Available at all IKEA Malaysia stores — Damansara and Cheras in the Klang Valley, Batu Kawan in Penang, and Tebrau in Johor Bahru — from 10 to 31 August 2026. It's explicitly while stocks last, first-come-first-served, so IKEA hasn't guaranteed every RM500 spender during the window will get one if the limited print run sells out early.
The fine print
- Non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash
- The campaign page states a minimum RM500 spend and doesn't publish a per-member cap; it also doesn't spell out on-page whether the RM500 must sit on one receipt, so check the linked IKEA X Touch 'n Go terms & conditions before splitting a big order across bills
- Online orders with home delivery are excluded — only Click & Collect orders picked up in-store count
- This runs alongside IKEA Malaysia's other 30th Anniversary and Merdeka-season activity (a storewide Merdeka Sale through 31 August and a National Day Special Menu at the IKEA Restaurant through 30 September) — see our Merdeka & Malaysia Month 2026 roundup for those separately, since they're different offers with different qualifying spends.
What else is running in the same 30th Anniversary campaign
The Touch 'n Go card isn't the only thing on IKEA's anniversary page this month, and two of the others stack on the same shopping trip:
- Spend & win: GWM HAVAL H6 HEV — spend a minimum of RM500 on home-furnishing products in a single in-store receipt to enter an exclusive challenge for a GWM HAVAL H6 HEV. 3 cars, 3 winners, one winner a month, for in-store shopping from 14 August to 13 November 2026. If you're spending RM500 in-store anyway to redeem the Touch 'n Go card, you're already at the entry threshold for this one.
- IKEA Fest daily discoveries — a different offer every day across furniture, home accessories and food, running 30 July to 25 August 2026. Worth checking the day you go, since a daily discount can be what pushes a planned basket over the RM500 line.
- National Day special menu at the IKEA Restaurant — limited-time local favourites, available 4 August to 30 September 2026, so it outlasts the card campaign by a month.
Tips
- If you're already planning a big-ticket IKEA purchase (a wardrobe system, a sofa, a full room set) this month, timing it inside the 10-31 August window turns a purchase you were making anyway into a free collectible
- Shop in-store rather than Click & Collect if you can: an in-store RM500 single receipt from 14 August qualifies for both the card and the GWM Spend & Win challenge
- Sign up for IKEA Family before you shop if you aren't already a member — it's free, and you'll need it at the point of redemption, not after
- Since it's a physical Touch 'n Go card, it's genuinely useful beyond the collectible angle — reload it for tolls, parking or transit like any other TnG card
- Card stock is limited — if you're close to the RM500 threshold near the campaign's final days, don't leave the trip to the last weekend of August
Check IKEA Malaysia's 30th Anniversary campaign page for the full terms before you shop.
