Ipoh Attraction Ticket Prices 2026: A RM9 Castle, a RM160 Theme Park, and the Two Stops You Cannot Just Walk Into

Ipoh's one big-ticket attraction: water park, amusement rides, petting zoo, tiger valley and hot springs under the Tambun limestone cliffs. Published walk-in prices on Sunway's own rate card are RM160 an adult and RM140 for a child (12 and under, or 90cm and above) or senior (60+); under 90cm is free. With a MyKad it is RM125 and RM108. The Hot Springs and Night Park (6pm to 11pm) is a separate ticket: RM130 or RM105 with a MyKad. The theme park opens 11am to 6pm on weekdays and 10am to 6pm at weekends, and closes on Tuesdays except in school and public holidays. The day ticket covers the parks and rides but not pay-per-ride extras such as the Haunted Chambers (RM10), Zip Line (RM20) or kayak (RM15). Malayana X-Press ride priority is RM25, counter only. Lockers cost RM28 to RM55. Online vouchers are valid 30 days from purchase and are non-refundable. Address: Persiaran Lagun Sunway 1, Sunway City Ipoh, about 20 minutes by car from the city.

The unfinished mansion a Scottish planter began building in the early 1900s is the best-value paid stop around Ipoh. The operator, Fest Imperio, lists RM9 for a Malaysian adult, RM7 for a child aged 4 to 12 and RM6 for a senior; foreigners pay RM19 and RM16. A combo with the Japanese Village Park in Ipoh is RM15 for a Malaysian adult (RM28 foreign), and adding an ATV ride takes the castle ticket to RM34 (RM44 foreign). Open daily from 9.30am to 10pm, last entry 9.30pm, so it works as an evening stop when the heat is gone. Tickets can be bought online for a chosen date and session, or at the counter. A still, green lake enclosed by limestone walls, reached through a short tunnel, with boat rides that take you into the second lake. The live price table on the operator's e-ticket page lists Tasik Cermin 1 entrance only at RM7 with a MyKad (RM12 without), entrance plus boat tour at RM32 for a MyKad adult and RM25 for a senior or child (RM42 and RM34 without MyKad), and the Tasik Cermin 2 boat tour at RM25 and RM18 (RM30 and RM22). Be aware the same page's first-loading text still shows an older RM4 entrance price; the live table is the current one. Online tickets are paused for the peak season, so buy at the counter. Entrance is open 9am to 5.45pm daily and boat tours run 9am to 5.30pm. Buying a MyKad ticket without a MyKad costs RM5 extra per adult. Use the e-ticket page or Facebook page rather than the homepage, which was showing unrelated spam links when we checked.

One of the very few tin dredges left from the boom that once worked the Kinta Valley's mining ponds, now a museum you can walk through. The price has moved a long way from the RM10 MyKad ticket older blogs still quote: the operator's site now sells one flat rate of RM38 for everyone aged 4 and above, with children under 4 free and no Malaysian discount. The bigger change is that tickets are sold online only; the site states plainly that it does not sell over the counter, so book on the phone before you drive out. School and travel-agent group rates are separate. Open daily 9am to 6pm, per the official site. Address: 9th km Jalan Tanjung Tualang, Batu Gajah, a short drive from Kellie's Castle.

The former Hakka miners' club on Jalan Bijeh Timah is now a museum of Ipoh's tin-mining years, and it is the attraction people most often turn up to and cannot enter. Visits are by appointment only: book up to 30 days ahead on IpohWorld's reservation page and bring the confirmation email. There is no fixed fee for the public; visitors are asked for a donation, while commercial tour companies pay RM10 an adult and RM5 a child or student. On the live booking page this week, English tours ran at 11am only from Tuesday to Friday, at 11am, 2pm and 3.30pm on Saturdays, and at 11am and 3.30pm on most Sundays. Closed on Mondays. It sits in the old town, so it pairs with a walk past the murals.

A gaharu (agarwood) plantation and tea producer in the hills outside Gopeng, with a lake, water wheel, shop and tasting area. Entry is free, which the operator states on its own visit page (updated June 2026). Selected activities cost extra: the Experience Van Ride around the estate, Trekaton, tree planting and eco farming. The site does not publish RM prices for these and says rates vary, so ask at the counter; figures of RM10 and RM5 for the van tour appear only on third-party sites. Open Monday to Sunday 9.15am to 6pm, closed every Tuesday except public and school holidays. Walk-ins are fine. One of the longest limestone caves in Peninsular Malaysia, visited on guided routes that range from dry walkways to wet river crawls. It is on this list because it is one of the area's biggest draws, but we could not verify a single price. The operator, Pusat Pelancongan Gua Tempurung, posts no RM figure on its Facebook page or Instagram, whose ticket and package highlights sit behind a login. Its last Instagram post, in January 2026, mentions the Grand Tour route. Prices of around RM98 for a local and RM118 for a tourist, with a minimum group size, appear only on aggregator sites, so treat them as unconfirmed. Call the hotline on 014-220 4142 before going, ask which routes are running (the wet routes depend on water levels), and bring shoes that can get muddy.
