> Quick view: from 1 October to 1 November 2026, a child aged 3 to 11 wearing a full Halloween costume gets into LEGOLAND Malaysia free with every full-price adult day ticket bought at the resort's ticketing counter. For a family of two adults and two children, that is RM410 for the Theme Park instead of RM608 with the online 20% discount. Only 200 free entries are given out each day.

What Brick-or-Treat is

Brick-or-Treat is LEGOLAND Malaysia's yearly Halloween event in the Theme Park at Bandar Medini, Iskandar Puteri. This year it runs from 1 October to 1 November. New for 2026 is the Mummy Queen, who joins Frankenstein, the Witch, Lord Vampyre and the Zombie Cheerleader for meet-and-greets and photos.

Other things on the programme:

  • Build-A-Spider: children build a LEGO spider that goes onto the MINILAND display.
  • Candy Trail: trick-or-treating along a trail, Friday to Sunday only.
  • Costume contest, live shows at the Castle Stage and The Beginning Stage, and Halloween games at The Castle.
  • The Great Monster Chase 4D at the LEGO Studios theatre.

All of it is included in a normal Theme Park ticket or Annual Pass. There is no separate event fee.

How the free costume entry works

  1. Dress the child in a full Halloween costume. The resort's terms say a T-shirt does not count, and staff can turn away a costume they do not accept. Costumes must also not block vision or restrict movement on rides.
  2. Go to the ticketing counter at the resort. Tickets bought on the website or through any other agent are not eligible.
  3. Buy a full-price adult day ticket. Each adult ticket unlocks one free child entry. The free child gets the same park access as the adult: Theme Park, Theme Park + SEA LIFE, or all three parks.
  4. Arrive early on busy days. The offer stops after 200 redemptions each day, and each child can use it only once during the event.

What it costs: worked examples

We used the Malaysian resident prices on the LEGOLAND website on 1 October: Theme Park RM205 adult and RM175 child, Triple-Park RM345 adult and RM285 child. The online "Book Now & Save 20%" deal brings these down to RM164 / RM140 and RM276 / RM228, if you book at least five days ahead. The terms do not print a separate counter price, so check the rate at the window before you pay.

  • Two adults and two children, Theme Park: costume deal at the counter RM410. Online 20% off RM608. You save RM198.
  • Two adults and two children, Triple-Park: costume deal RM690. Online 20% off RM1,008. You save RM318.
  • One adult and two children, Theme Park: only one child goes free, so it is RM205 + RM175 = RM380 at the counter, against RM444 online.
  • Evening only, family of four: Evening Tickets cost RM75 per adult and RM55 per child, so RM260. That is the cheapest option, but entry is from 4pm on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays only. The free costume entry is written for day tickets, so do not expect it on an evening ticket.

Who it suits, and who should skip it

It suits Johor Bahru families who can drive in on the day, and families coming over from Singapore for the day; check the rate for your residency at the counter. It also suits anyone with two kids and two adults, where every adult ticket covers a child.

Skip it if you already have an Annual Pass, since the event is included anyway. Skip it too if you only have one adult and several children, or if you want the cheapest possible visit and can do an evening.

Fine print that trips people up

  • Counter only. Booking online, even through LEGOLAND's own site, cancels the deal.
  • Not stackable. It cannot be combined with the 20% online discount, MyKad promotions or any other offer.
  • 200 a day. Saturday and Sunday mornings are the most likely to run out.
  • Opening days. The booking calendar showed no tickets for Wednesday 7 October, so check the date before you drive.
  • Late hours: the Theme Park stays open until 8pm on Thursdays and 9pm on Fridays and Saturdays in October. LEGOLAND Express, Dino Island and the Boating School close at 7pm.
  • Annual Pass extras: pass holders get 50% off a day ticket for a friend, and up to 20% off LEGO products with a minimum spend of RM500 on Fridays to Sundays in October.
  • Parking is extra and children under 3 enter free anyway.
