> Quick view: Lotus's Malaysia is running four separate promotions at the same time right now, and they do not end together. The fortnightly in-store catalogue ("Lesgo Lokal", 3–16 September 2026) is the headline one — but the fresh-food rack printed inside it closes on 8 September, a homeware sale closes 9 September, and a one-day flyer called Kannn Ada is valid only on 7 September. On one item they share, Top liquid detergent 3.6kg, the one-day flyer is RM0.80 cheaper than the fortnightly catalogue.

Four Lotus's promotions, four different end dates

Checked against Lotus's own catalogue and e-flyers on 7 September 2026. The single most useful thing to know about Lotus's promotions is that the date printed on the catalogue cover is not the date that governs most of what is inside it. The current 16-page national catalogue is stamped 3–16 September 2026, but three of its own sections carry shorter windows, and two more e-flyers run alongside it on the promotions page.

What's in the 3–16 September catalogue

The cover four, all with the pre-promotion price shown first:

  • Top liquid laundry detergent 3.6kg, assorted — was RM23.90, now RM18.79/unit
  • Jasmine Siam Best 5% imported white rice 10kg — was RM30.95, now RM28.90/pack
  • Marigold HL Susu Asli / Advance 1.89L — was RM16.80–16.90, now RM13.90/unit
  • Indomie Mi Goreng Segera Asli / Spesial 5s x 80g–85g — was RM4.45, now RM3.85/pack

Inside, the "Pilihan Rakyat Malaysia" pantry pages (also 3–16 September) carry Knife cooking oil 5kg down from RM35.60 to RM31.90, Buttercup Luxury spread 227g down from RM8.20 to RM5.90, CED peanut butter 500g down from RM15.35 to RM11.99, Milo refill 1.8kg down from RM38.50 to RM35.49, Anchor cheese slices 24s 400g down from RM18.25 to RM16.95, and Julie's sugar biscuits 343g down from RM3.75 to RM2.99.

The grocery and household pages add Dutch Lady 123/456 milk powder 850g at RM22.90 (was RM24.60), Farm Fresh Grow 800g at RM31.90–34.90 (was RM37.99–42.99), MamyPoko Dry Absorb Pants at RM27.50 (was RM33.00), Genki! Active Pants at RM24.50 (was RM29.50), Coca-Cola or Sprite 4 x 320ml at RM6.99 (was RM7.50–7.99), and Top detergent powder 2.1kg at RM12.35 (was RM14.30).

Two drinks — Fuze Tea 1.5L at RM7.99 and Minute Maid Orange 1.5L at RM7.99 — are marked *hanya terdapat di stor terpilih*, available at selected stores only. Do not plan a trip around those two.

The fresh rack closes 8 September, not 16 September

The two fresh-food spreads inside the catalogue are stamped 2–8 September 2026. If you are reading this on 7 September, they have one day left, which is the most time-sensitive thing on this page.

Chilled and fresh: chicken fillet at RM13.79/kg (halal, local supplier certified by JAKIM/JAIN), mutton shoulder slice at RM32.99/kg (imported halal, Australia / New Zealand / Brazil / India), red globe grapes at RM7.99/kg, China potatoes L at RM2.49/kg, Beijing cabbage at RM2.59/kg, red chilli padi at RM8.89/kg, local red dragon fruit L at RM5.99/kg, and MD2 Pendang pineapple at RM3.99.

Seafood: siakap (barramundi) M, 400–600g each, at RM7.99 per fish; jenahak (golden snapper) 1.5kg at RM31.99/kg; white sotong M at RM31.99/kg; XXL prawns, 20–30 to a kilo, at RM29.99/kg; and cencaru L at RM7.29/kg.

Today only: the Kannn Ada flyer

Lotus's published a separate one-day e-flyer, Lotus's Kannn Ada, marked "Sah pada 7 Sep 2026" — valid on 7 September and nothing else. It is a mix of repeats from the fresh rack and its own prices: Cap Rambutan Thai white rice (blue) 10kg at RM33.90, Buruh cooking oil 5kg at RM28.85, Milo refill 900g at RM17.89, Lotus's sardines in tomato sauce 400g at RM5.29, Glo dishwashing liquid 1.2L at RM6.39, a Lotus's 45L storage box at RM29.80, and a Toshiba 1.8L conventional rice cooker at RM89.90.

The same detergent has two prices this week

Top liquid laundry detergent 3.6kg appears on both the fortnightly catalogue cover and today's one-day flyer, at two different prices:

  • Catalogue, 3–16 September: RM18.79
  • Kannn Ada, 7 September only: RM17.99

The one-day flyer wins by RM0.80. But this does not generalise — check the rice, where it runs the other way. The catalogue's Jasmine Siam Best 10kg is RM28.90, while today's Cap Rambutan 10kg is RM33.90. Different brands, same 10kg Thai white rice slot, and the fortnightly catalogue is RM5.00 cheaper. The lesson is not "the day flyer is better" — it is that Lotus's runs concurrent flyers that are not price-aligned, so the cheaper one differs item by item.

Cooking oil shows the same split: Knife 5kg is RM31.90 in the catalogue, while Buruh 5kg is RM28.85 on today's flyer — RM3.05 apart, though these are different brands rather than the same SKU.

Magnolia fresh UHT milk 3 x 1L is the one item priced identically on both, at RM12.89 with Buy 2 Free 1 — three packs, nine litres, RM25.78, or about RM2.86 a litre.

"Up to 40% off" undersells five of the homeware items

A third e-flyer, Kelengkapan Rumah, is headlined *Diskaun sehingga 40%* and runs until 9 September 2026. Five items are discounted well past the 40% the headline claims:

  • Fukuro Redi non-stick 2-piece cookware set — RM139.90 to RM59.00, a 58% cut
  • Cuckoo 1.8L 700W jar rice cooker CR-1005 — RM300.00 to RM129, 57%
  • Philips 1.2L jug kettle HD9303/03 — RM139.00 to RM69.00, 50%
  • Russell Taylors rust-resistant gas hob GS11 — RM109.00 to RM54.90, 50%
  • Elba 16" 5-blade stand fan ESF E1638TM — RM150.70 to RM79.00, 48%

The headline items are shallower than the small ones: the Philips 55" Google TV 55PUT7330 is RM2,099 to RM1,449 (31%) and the Sharp 25L microwave R357EK is RM399 to RM299 (25%). The weakest item on the flyer is the Russell Taylors 4.5L air fryer Z3C at RM199.90 to RM189.90 — a RM10, five percent cut that is not worth a trip.

Note one collision with today's flyer: the Cuckoo 1.8L rice cooker at RM129 (until 9 September) sits alongside the Toshiba 1.8L rice cooker at RM89.90 (7 September only). Same capacity, RM39.10 apart, different brands and different deadlines.

The multibuys, ranked by what you actually save

Not every "Beli 2" is worth doing. Working each one out per unit:

  • Samyang Rose bowl noodles 105g — RM7.89 each, or Beli 2 RM10 (RM5.00 each). Saves RM5.78, a 37% cut. The best on the flyer.
  • Blueberries 125g — RM10.99 each, or Beli 2 RM14 (RM7.00 each). Saves RM7.98, 36%.
  • Kimball pasta sauce 295–300g — RM5.39 each, or Beli 2 RM8.80 (RM4.40 each). Saves RM1.98, 18%.
  • Frozen duck 1kg — RM14.49 each, or Beli 2 RM25 (RM12.50 each). Saves RM3.98, 14%.
  • Lo'Ti Portuguese egg tarts, 4 pieces — RM10.99 with Buy 1 Free 1, so eight tarts for RM10.99, about RM1.37 each.
  • Lotus's pandan or orange chiffon cake — RM7.19 each, or any 2 for RM13.99 (RM7.00 each). Saves 39 sen across two cakes, under 3%. Buy one if you want one.

Frozen seafood: read the glazing percentage before comparing

The frozen seafood prices look cheaper than the fresh counter, but Lotus's prints a glazing percentage on each pack, and glazing is ice. Taking the printed figure as the share of pack weight that is ice, the real cost per kilo of seafood is:

  • Pangasius (patin) fillet 1kg, 20% glazing, RM10.89 — about 800g of fish, roughly RM13.61/kg
  • Sotong flower 1kg, 65% glazing, RM8.99 — about 350g of squid, roughly RM25.69/kg
  • Asari clams 500g, 40% glazing, RM3.29 — about 300g, roughly RM10.97/kg
  • Shelled lala 500g, 40% glazing, RM6.99 — about 300g, roughly RM23.30/kg

The sotong is the one to watch. At RM8.99 a pack it looks like a third the price of the RM31.99/kg fresh white sotong, but at 65% glazing the actual squid works out to about RM25.69/kg — much closer to the fresh counter than the shelf price suggests. Tilapia fillet 1kg at RM17.99 and salmon portion cut 1kg at RM59.99 do not print a glazing figure on the flyer.

SARA recipients: an RM3 e-coupon, 1st to 14th of each month

The catalogue carries a panel most coverage skips. Lotus's accepts Sumbangan Asas Rahmah (SARA) payment on selected products, marked on shelf and on the flyer with a SARA / MyKasih logo — on today's flyer that includes the Cap Rambutan rice, Buruh cooking oil, Lotus's sardines, Milo refill and Top detergent.

On top of that, SARA recipients who spend RM50 using SARA receive an RM3 e-coupon, redeemable on a following purchase with a minimum spend of RM50. The panel states it runs from the 1st to the 14th of every month, which means it is live as you read this and closes on 14 September. It is tied to the My Lotus's programme and subject to terms.

Separately, Lotus's is carrying a My Lotus's New User Bonus with TrueMoney: first-time TrueMoney Wallet users who register with promo code NEWML3 and complete eKYC get RM3 cashback, credited within 48 hours. The campaign period runs 15 March to 31 December 2026, but it is capped at the first 2,000 claimants or RM6,000 total — given it opened in March, treat the cap as possibly already reached.

What the July Banyak Murah round bought you, and what changed

This article originally covered Lotus's Banyak Murah catalogue, which ran 23 July to 5 August 2026. That round is long closed, but it is a useful benchmark, because two of its headline items have direct comparisons today:

Rice barely moved. Banyak Murah had Jati Beras Putih Thai import 5% 10kg at RM29.50; the current catalogue has Jasmine Siam Best 5% import 10kg at RM28.90 — 60 sen cheaper, on a comparable grade.

Chicken moved a lot. Banyak Murah had boneless chicken breast at RM9.79/kg. The nearest cut on the current fresh rack is chicken fillet at RM13.79/kg — RM4.00, or about 41%, higher. These are close but not identical cuts, so treat it as an indication rather than a like-for-like index; even allowing for that, the July chicken price was the better one by a wide margin.

The Banyak Murah round also carried a Harga Rata flat-price rack from RM2, a Citarasa Korea aisle and a Lo'Ti bakery range from RM7.49. The Harga Rata rack and the Citarasa Korea aisle do not appear in the current national catalogue; the Lo'Ti bakery range does, now as egg tarts at RM10.99 for four with Buy 1 Free 1.

Fine print

  • Prices are national catalogue prices. Lotus's runs several store formats, and the small-store and Lotus's Mart formats have their own separate catalogue — the 16-page national flyer described here is the hypermarket and supermarket one, so a smaller Lotus's Kedai or Express may not carry these prices or this range.
  • Two drinks in the catalogue are explicitly flagged as selected stores only, and the flyer's standing disclaimer is that prices are correct at time of printing, subject to change without notice, and valid while stocks last.
  • Sub-promotions inside one catalogue routinely carry their own shorter windows. This round has at least four: 2–8 September (fresh and seafood), 7 September only (Kannn Ada), until 9 September (homeware, plus Darlie toothpaste at RM14.79 and Lux body wash refill at RM8.95, both individually stamped *sah sehingga 9 Sep 2026*), and 3–16 September (everything else).
  • Glazing-adjusted per-kilo figures above are calculated from the glazing percentage printed on the flyer, not quoted by Lotus's.

How to use this

If you are shopping on 7 September, check the Kannn Ada flyer first — it is the only one that expires tonight, and it wins on detergent and cooking oil. If you want the fresh rack prices, you have until 8 September. If you want the homeware discounts, you have until 9 September, and the deep cuts are on the small appliances rather than the TV. Everything else holds until 16 September, so there is no reason to rush it.

Before a big trip, open the current flyer on Lotus's own catalogue page and the promotions page — the second one is where the short-window e-flyers appear, and it is the page most shoppers never check.
