> Quick view: McDonald's Malaysia's PEACEMINUSONE merch started on 5 November 2026 at 10am. The Vintage Cap is RM38.88, followed by the Pin Set at RM18.88 from 12 November and the Shoulder Bag at RM28.88 from 19 November. Three G-Dragon photocards cost RM12.88 each. You need an eligible McValue Meal, and you have to buy in the restaurant.
RM25 or RM38.88? Go by the newer posters
Deal listings published around 29 October quote a flat RM25 add-on for every item. McDonald's own Instagram posts from 1 November and 3 November print something different, with a separate price on each item. We have used those newer posters throughout.
The gap matters if you budgeted on RM25. The cap costs RM13.88 more, the shoulder bag RM3.88 more, and the pin set RM6.12 less. All three come to RM86.64 instead of RM75. McDonald's website was showing a maintenance page when we checked on 5 November, so we could not re-read its campaign page. The kiosk price is the one that counts, so check it before you pay.
What drops, and when
- From 5 November: Vintage Cap, RM38.88, plus photocard design 1, RM12.88
- From 12 November: Pin Set, RM18.88, plus photocard design 2, RM12.88
- From 19 November: Shoulder Bag, RM28.88, plus photocard design 3, RM12.88
McDonald's posters print only "starting" dates and "while stocks last". The closing dates of 11, 18 and 25 November come from listings of the campaign. We cannot tell you whether leftover caps stay on sale after 11 November, so don't count on it. Ask your outlet if you miss a week.
How to buy, step by step
McDonald's lays out the process in its 3 November post:
- Go to a restaurant early, because it is first come, first served.
- Crew give you a Q-Ticket number to hold your place.
- Go to a Self-Ordering Kiosk when your turn comes.
- Crew guide you through the order.
- Collect your food and redeem your merch.
Merch is not available through Drive-Thru, McDelivery, delivery partners or the McD App. You cannot send a rider or order the cap in the app.
Which meal qualifies
The large print says Spicy Chicken McDeluxe or Spicy Gochujang McDeluxe McValue Meal. The small print on the merch poster is wider: Regular Chicken, Spicy Chicken, Regular Gochujang and Spicy Gochujang McDeluxe McValue Meals, in medium or large. That helps anyone who does not want the heat.
The photocard poster names only the two spicy meals, so a regular-burger order may not qualify for a card. Check at the kiosk or with crew before you pay.
What it costs, before the meal
The meal price is not on these posters, so add it on top of each figure:
- Cap only: RM38.88
- Cap and photocard 1: RM51.76
- All three merch items: RM86.64, over three separate drops
- All three items and all three photocards: RM125.28
Going for the full set means at least three trips and three meals. The posters do not say whether one meal can carry both a cap and a photocard. The limit wording suggests one person can buy both, but confirm it with crew.
Who should go, and who should skip
Go early if you want the cap. It was the most sought-after item in Singapore, where AsiaOne reported more than 60 people queueing at McDonald's Funan on launch morning, 8 October. Malaysia may spread out differently, since McDonald's says all restaurants nationwide will carry the merch here, whereas Singapore's hat was at 10 outlets. McDonald's has not published stock per outlet, so call ahead on 1300-13-1300 or try a quieter branch.
The pin set is the cheapest way in, at RM18.88. The bag is the one you are most likely to use every day.
Skip if you just want a cheap meal, since the add-on saves you nothing on the food. If you only like the design, compare the resale price once the drop has settled rather than queueing out of panic. Collectors should inspect items at the counter, because the posters state that products are shown for illustration only.
Fine print worth remembering
The limit in McDonald's post is 1 Vintage Cap and/or 1 photocard per person. It does not yet state limits for the pin set or bag, so expect similar rules but check before week 2 and week 3. We could not open a T&C page, and the posters end with "other terms and conditions apply". The merch poster carries McDonald's "Disahkan Halal" mark.
