Padel arrived in the Klang Valley as a novelty and has become a weeknight habit. It is played two against two on an enclosed court about a third of the size of a tennis court, with solid rackets, an underhand serve and glass walls that stay in play. The rallies are long and forgiving, which is why people who have never held a racket can have a decent game in their first hour.

Every price below was read on 24 September 2026, either on the club's own price page or on its live booking grid in the Playtomic app for Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 September and Tuesday 29 and Wednesday 30 September. We confirmed each club was taking bookings that week. Where a club's own website and its booking grid disagree, we say so.

Read the price as per court, per 90 minutes

Every club here prices the court, not the player, and padel always needs four. So the headline hourly rate is misleading in two ways. First, divide by four: a RM120 court is RM30 each. Second, most games run 90 minutes, not 60, because an hour is barely enough to warm up and play a set. Jom Padel only sells 90-minute slots, and at Reserve the 90-minute option disappears at peak times.

On that basis, a standard game costs RM30 to RM67.50 a head across the eight clubs. The spread is wider than it looks on the hourly board.

When the cheap hours are

Weekday daytime is the off-peak window at almost every club, and it ends earlier than office hours:

  • Padelground: RM120 an hour until 4pm on weekdays, then RM160.
  • SkyCourts: RM80 until 4pm on weekdays, then RM90.
  • City Padel KL: RM140 from 10am to 5pm on weekdays, RM180 otherwise, including before 10am.
  • The Rally Padel Club, JPC and Reserve: cheaper until 5pm on weekdays.
  • Pop Padel: RM110 until about 5pm, RM130 in the evening, and back to RM110 for the last slot at 11pm.

Two clubs break the pattern. Reserve charges RM100 an hour all weekend, less than its RM120 weekday evening rate. Jom Padel's grid showed the same two prices on a Saturday as on a Tuesday. For anyone with a desk job, those two are the only clubs here where a weekend game costs no more than a weekday evening one.

Indoor, roofed or open to the sky

This matters more than it sounds in a city with afternoon thunderstorms. Reserve and City Padel are fully indoor. Rally, JPC, Jom Padel and Pop Padel are roofed or sheltered, which keeps rain off the court but not the heat. Padelground's courts are covered but open-sided, and SkyCourts is an open-air rooftop: the cheapest court in the city centre, and the one most likely to be rained off.

Worked examples

A group of four playing 90 minutes every Tuesday at 7pm for a month, four games:

  • SkyCourts: RM135 a game, RM33.75 each, RM135 each for the month.
  • JPC: RM180 a game, RM45 each, RM180 each for the month.
  • The Rally Padel Club: RM210 a game, RM52.50 each, RM210 each for the month.
  • City Padel KL: RM270 a game, RM67.50 each, RM270 each for the month.

The same group switching to a Saturday morning at Reserve would pay RM100 an hour, RM25 each per hour of play.

Add equipment if you do not own it. Padelground lists racket rental at RM15 a racket and balls at RM24 for a can of three; the other clubs offer rental but do not publish a price.

How to pick

Start with the time you can actually play. If it is a weekday evening, compare peak prices, because that is what you will pay every week, and the gap between SkyCourts (RM135 for 90 minutes) and City Padel (RM270) is RM540 a month for a group of four playing once a week. If you can play on weekday afternoons or weekends, Reserve and SkyCourts are the cheapest.

Then decide how much the weather matters. An open-air court is fine at 8am and a gamble at 5pm in the rainy months. Finally, if you are new, book one coached session first. Padel rules on the walls and the serve are simple, but an hour with a coach saves a month of bad habits.

Beyond the eight below, cheaper courts exist further out: De Palma Social Club at i-City in Shah Alam lists RM45 an hour before 5pm, and Base Pickle & Padel Club in PJS 51 lists about RM53. We saw those only on Playtomic and could not confirm them on the operators' own channels, so they are not on the list.
