> Quick view: from 30 October to 8 November 2026, PC Image is clearing Acer stock at selected branches. The headline deals are a Nitro V14 gaming laptop (RTX 4050) at RM2,999, down from RM4,899, and a Predator Rift 330 gaming chair at RM299, down from RM1,299. Most laptops are one to three units at a named branch, the prices are Elite Club member prices, and the stock will not be replenished. If you want one, phone the branch before you travel.

PC Image is one of Malaysia's larger computer retail chains, with 51 outlets listed on its website. Its Acer Day is a ten-day clearance with Acer. PC Image announced it on its official Facebook page on 27 October with the line "Clearance stock is strictly non-restockable", and published two price posters plus add-on and blind-box posters. Every price below is read from those posters. The banner says "Discount up to RM2,000", but the biggest saving on the published posters is RM1,900.

Every published price, with branch and unit count

All prices are PC Image's Elite Club member prices. "Normal" is the normal price printed on the poster.

The add-ons (purchase with purchase)

These need a qualifying Acer purchase, except where noted:

  • Acer Nitro gaming wired mouse: RM29 (SRP RM129).
  • Acer SuperCare extended warranty: SuperCare 1 at RM49.90 for products under RM2,500 SRP; SuperCare 2 at RM99.90 for products above RM2,500 SRP. The poster rounds these to RM49 and RM99.
  • Acer SD100 DDR4 3200MHz SO-DIMM RAM: 8GB at RM179 (SRP RM229), 16GB at RM379 (SRP RM499).
  • Cyber Cats & Friends blind box: RM19 with any purchase (SRP RM59), or RM39 on its own. Eight designs.

Worked examples

A student laptop in Penang. Aspire Go 14 at RM2,099. Its normal price is RM2,599, which is above the RM2,500 line, so the matching warranty is SuperCare 2 at RM99.90. Add the one-off RM10 Elite Club fee and you pay RM2,208.90 for the laptop plus extended warranty. That is still RM390.10 under the normal price of the laptop alone.

A gaming setup. Nitro V14 at RM2,999 (save RM1,900), Nitro mouse at RM29 and SuperCare 2 at RM99.90 comes to RM3,127.90, or RM3,137.90 with the membership fee. Spread over 12 months at 0%, the laptop alone is about RM250 a month, if your card or plan qualifies. The catch is location: the two units are in Penang and Miri, nowhere near the Klang Valley.

Just the chair. RM299 for a chair PC Image normally sells at RM1,299 is the deal most people can actually get, because it is the only item with 30 units. Thirty units across a 51-outlet chain is still not many.

Who it is good for, and who should skip it

Good for: shoppers in Melaka, which has stock for 10 of the 14 computers listed, and Sarawak shoppers near Kuching, Miri, Bintulu or Sibu. It also suits anyone who has already settled on one of these exact models and can pick it up from the right branch.

Skip it if you are in the Klang Valley and want a laptop: only the Swift Go 14 AI and the N50 desktop are listed at Plaza Low Yat. Skip it too if you want a choice of specs. This is clearance stock, so you take the configuration on the poster.

Fine print that trips people up

  • Member prices. The price tags carry an Elite Club "Member's Price" label. Joining is done at the counter with your MyKad, costs RM10 once, and gives lifetime membership with 1 point per RM1. PC Image has not published non-member prices for these items.
  • Display and clearance units. "Non-restockable clearance" usually means older stock or display sets. Ask whether the unit is new in box, and check the battery and screen before paying.
  • TNG reward tiers are not public. The posters say "up to RM80" but give no spend thresholds. Ask the branch what your basket earns.
  • RAM add-on is DDR4 only. Several of these laptops list DDR5 memory, so the DDR4 SO-DIMM will not fit them. Check before you add it.
  • Prices can change. Every poster says prices and promotions may change without notice and are while stocks last.

How to buy

  1. Pick a model and note its branch from the list above.
  2. Find the branch phone number on PC Image's outlet page (pcimage.com.my/outlets) and ask whether the unit is still there.
  3. Bring your MyKad to sign up for Elite Club at the counter, then ask about the TNG reward and the 0% instalment options before you pay.
