What changed this October
Seoul Garden has always had a cheaper rate for older diners. Until now it sat in the price list's Student/Senior column, and "senior" meant 60 and above. For October, tied to International Day of Older Persons on 1 October, the brand has replaced that with a flat 25% off the adult price and lowered the age to 55.
The new October price lists on Seoul Garden's outlets page already print the change. The student column is now "Student" only, and a separate row reads "Senior (55 years old and above): 25% OFF Adult's Pricing". The promotion itself is dated 1 to 31 October 2026, so treat 31 October as the end unless Seoul Garden says it is staying.
How to use it
- Pick your outlet and session. Prices differ by region and by weekday lunch, weekday dinner and weekend, so check the table below.
- Bring identification that shows your age. MyKad is the obvious one. The terms say "valid identification", so the cashier decides what counts.
- Order Regular or Superior. The 25% comes off whichever adult price applies to the tier you choose.
- Pay with no other offer applied. If you also have a birthday this month, a voucher or a group booking discount, you pick one.
What a senior pays, by region
All prices are Seoul Garden's own nett figures from the October price lists, before the discount. The senior figure is 25% off; your receipt may round by a sen.
- Klang Valley, Putrajaya and Negeri Sembilan (13 outlets, including Sunway Putra Mall, IOI City Mall, Paradigm Mall PJ, Lalaport, Palm Mall and AEON Mall Nilai): weekday whole day RM52.90, senior about RM39.68. Weekend and public holidays RM62.90, senior about RM47.18. The Superior upgrade is +RM17, so Superior on a weekday is RM69.90 and about RM52.43 for a senior.
- Johor Bahru (Toppen, Angsana Mall, KSL City, Paradigm Mall JB): weekday lunch Regular RM64, senior RM48. Superior lunch RM82, senior RM61.50. Dinner and weekends Regular RM69, senior RM51.75.
- Melaka (Mahkota Parade, The Shore): weekday lunch Regular RM61, senior RM45.75. Dinner and weekends Regular RM66, senior RM49.50.
- Penang 1st Avenue and Aman Central, Alor Setar: weekday lunch Regular RM59, senior RM44.25. Dinner and weekends RM66, senior RM49.50. Aman Central's "weekday" lunch runs Sunday to Thursday.
- Sabah, Sarawak, Kelantan and Terengganu (Imago KK, Miri, Vivacity Kuching, Bintulu, Lembah Sireh, Mesra Mall, Paya Bunga Square): weekday lunch Regular RM59.90, senior about RM44.93. Dinner and weekends RM64.90, senior about RM48.68.
Kangar Jaya, AEON Kinta City and Taiping Mall still display an older poster with a Student/Senior rate of RM47 at weekday lunch. The October promotion covers them too, and 25% off their RM59 adult price is RM44.25, so ask for the 25% rather than the poster rate.
Worked examples
- A couple aged 58 and 63, weekday lunch in the Klang Valley. In October both pay about RM39.68, so roughly RM79.35 together. Under the August price list the 58-year-old would have paid the full RM52.90 and the 63-year-old the RM39.90 senior rate, RM92.80 in all. That is about RM13.45 saved, almost all of it on the younger partner.
- Three generations, Saturday in the Klang Valley. Grandparents aged 57 and 61, two parents, and children aged 7 and 10. Parents pay 2 x RM62.90 = RM125.80, grandparents 2 x about RM47.18 = about RM94.35, and the children pay 55% off the adult price, about RM28.31 each. The table comes to roughly RM277.
- A 66-year-old in Johor Bahru, weekday lunch. RM48 instead of the RM52 student rate or the RM64 adult price.
Who it suits, and who can skip it
It suits diners aged 55 to 59, who previously paid full adult price and now save a quarter. It also suits families taking parents out for a weekend meal, since the saving per senior is bigger when the adult price is higher.
If you are over 60 and usually eat in the Klang Valley, the change is close to nothing on Regular: about RM39.68 versus the RM39.90 you could already get. If you only want a cheap meal, a weekday lunch is still the lowest price at every outlet.
Fine print that trips people up
- The discount is for the senior only. The rest of the table pays normal prices.
- No stacking. The terms exclude "other promotions, discounts, vouchers, or privileges". A 55-year-old with an October birthday gets 25% off once, not twice. The birthday offer also needs at least one full-paying guest, which the senior offer does not mention.
- AutoCity, Penang is excluded. It runs its own price list, with a Student/Senior weekday lunch of RM50 against RM60 adult.
- 120 minutes per seating, and a 10% wastage charge on the whole bill if you leave food.
- Berjaya MegaMall Kuantan has been closed for renovation since 7 September 2026.
