> Status on 17 September 2026: the two Beauty Hall offers this article followed have both ended at SOGO Kuala Terengganu. The Merdeka & Malaysia Day fragrance gift sets finished on 16 September, and the RM300-for-RM30 coupon last ran here on 6 September. Is the SOGO Kuala Terengganu fragrance promotion still on?

No. Here is what was checked on SOGO Malaysia's own site on 17 September 2026:

  • The Merdeka & Malaysia Day gift sets are gone. The six full-price bottles with free pouches, miniatures and samples ran at the Ground Floor Beauty Hall of all four stores until 16 September. The campaign no longer appears on SOGO's promotion index or on its Kuala Terengganu tag, which now carries only two posts. SOGO removes a campaign's page once it ends, so that absence means the offer is over, not moved.
  • The RM30 coupon did not come back to Kuala Terengganu. During the Members' Day Sale it ran here at a RM300 threshold on nine set days, the last being 6 September. SOGO brought a free RM30 cosmetics and fragrance coupon back for Malaysia Day, 16 September only, but its artwork lists just SOGO Kuala Lumpur, Central i-City Shah Alam and The Mall, Mid Valley Southkey Johor Bahru, with the terms headed "Beauty Department (KL, SA & JB)". Mayang Mall was left out, and that one day has also passed.
  • No Beauty Hall coupon is listed at any SOGO store now. Neither the sale index nor the promotion index carries one as of 17 September.

What still works at the KT Beauty Hall

Two fragrance prices and one points weekend reach Kuala Terengganu:

  • Michael Kors Pour Homme EDP 100ml - RM190, normal price RM595. Part of I Am Malaysian Hot Picks, which runs 8 to 20 September 2026 at all four stores, Mayang Mall named on the poster. SOGO marks the item with its "available at all SOGO stores" asterisk. That is RM405 off, or about 68%, the deepest fragrance discount on SOGO's current campaign pages. SOGO does not print a unit count for it, so treat it as while stocks last.
  • Versace L'Homme EDT 100ml - RM132, normal price RM270. Part of the SOGO 32nd Anniversary Sale, 12 September to 11 October 2026, all stores. No store restriction is printed against it, and SOGO's footnote says items are available at all stores unless stated otherwise. That is RM138 off, about 51%.
  • Extra Points Reward, 18 to 20 September 2026, all four stores: 3x points on a single receipt of RM120 to RM299.99, 5x on RM300 to RM499.99 and 10x on RM500 and above. It excludes tenanted counters and food and beverage outlets, is capped at 200,000 points per member per day, and members on the Easy Payment Plan get base points only.

One Beauty Hall offer that does not reach Kuala Terengganu: the Shiseido Vital Perfection Lift & Sculpt Discovery Kit, redeemable at the Shiseido counter until 15 October 2026, is for SOGO Kuala Lumpur and SOGO Johor Bahru only.

Worked examples at SOGO Kuala Terengganu

SOGO's rewards page fixes the value of a point: 2,000 points = RM10, redeemable once you hold 2,000, with each point expiring after two years.

  • Both bottles on Friday 18 September. RM190 plus RM132 is RM322 on one receipt. That lands in the 5x band, so 322 base points become 1,610 points, worth about RM8.05. The same receipt clears SOGO's RM300 line for a complimentary SOGO paper bag, and it earns a Merdeka Spend & Win entry and a Shop & Sweep entry (both below). Total saving against normal prices: RM543.
  • Just the Michael Kors on Saturday 19 September. RM190 sits in the 3x band: 570 points, about RM2.85. Below RM300 you pay for a bag (RM0.50 small, RM1.20 large, or RM0.70 for a brown paper bag).
  • Pushing to RM500. Add RM178 of other eligible shopping to the two bottles and the receipt reaches the 10x band: 5,000 points, or RM25. Only worth doing if you were going to buy those things anyway.
  • Compared with last week. Burberry Hero EDP 100ml cost RM520 with a free gift set SOGO valued at RM310. There was no money off the bottle. The Michael Kors deal is the opposite: money off, no gift.

SOGO's sale pages say the points offers exclude "non-participating brands" without naming them, so ask at the counter whether a fragrance brand counts before you rely on the multiplier.

Still live for Kuala Terengganu shoppers

  • Merdeka Spend & Win, all stores, until 20 September 2026. A RM69 single receipt gets you an entry. Ten winners each take a RM690 SOGO voucher plus 69,000 SOGO Reward Points.
  • Shop & Sweep with SOGO & Bank Islam, until 30 September 2026. A RM100 single receipt earns one entry, or two for Bank Islam Card-i cardmembers (Bank Islam Master Card-i purchases do not count). Forty winners take part in the sweep at SOGO Kuala Lumpur and pay their own travel there, which matters if you are entering from Terengganu.
  • Redeem, Spin & Win, 1 to 30 September 2026. Redeem any Reward Gift with points on the MySOGO app for one spin at the Customer Service Centre, for the first 500 redemptions.
  • Atome x SOGO, until 31 December 2026. RM10 off a RM150 spend or RM40 off RM400, at the Customer Service Centre and selected cashiers. It excludes the Supermarket, tenanted counters and food and beverage outlets.
  • Konsert Muzik D.R.A.S tickets, until 30 September 2026. SOGO Card members get 10% off VIP, P1, P2 and P3 tickets with code SOGO10 (P4 is sold out), plus a draw for five ceramic tableware sets.
  • Jom Batik on Thursday. An extra 10% off batik from participating brands in the Women's and Men's departments every Thursday, for SOGO Card members, at all stores.
  • Elsewhere in the 32nd Anniversary Sale, with no store limit printed: Jeep polo tee and jeans at 2 pieces for RM132 (normal price RM249 each), an RM32 instant rebate on Jeep handbags (normal price RM459 to RM519), Disney round-neck tees at buy 3 free 2 (normal price RM79 each), Cuddles suit sets at RM32 each (normal price RM59) and an Eco Living mesh ironing board at RM32 (normal price RM129).

Ended since the last update: the Cuti-Cuti Malaysia Contest closed on 16 September (its page now returns a 404), the I Am Malaysian Early Bird Deals ended on 16 September, and the Home Department's Malaysia Day RM16 coupon on RM160 ran 15 to 17 September.

Who should go now, and who should wait

Go before 20 September if Michael Kors Pour Homme or Versace L'Homme is on your list. Both are more than half off SOGO's printed normal price, and the Michael Kors price ends with Hot Picks on 20 September.

Wait if you only shop the Beauty Hall for a coupon. SOGO has not announced another one, and Kuala Terengganu missed the most recent round. SOGO has not announced its next Members' Day either. The last one ran 25 August to 6 September 2026, and that is when the KT coupon last appeared.

Skip the multiplier maths if your brand sits at a tenanted counter. Every storewide mechanic above excludes tenanted counters, and SOGO does not publish which counters at Mayang Mall are leased. Ask before you pay.

The record: what the KT Beauty Hall offered in August and September

  • August (to 31 August): a "New Fragrance @ SOGO Kuala Terengganu" post showcased Ferragamo, DKNY, Jean Paul Gaultier and Rabanne bestsellers. That page was later removed.
  • 25 August to 6 September: a free RM30 coupon on a RM300 single receipt of cosmetics or fragrance at Kuala Terengganu and Shah Alam (RM350 in KL and JB), on nine set days only. It excluded Budget Cosmetics, Best Buy items, purchase-with-purchase items, coffret sets and tenanted counters.
  • 7 to 16 September: the Merdeka & Malaysia Day gift sets. Gucci Flora Gardenia EDP Intense RM685 (SOGO's bundle value RM1,078), Chloé Signature EDP Intense or Le Parfum RM670 (RM1,055), Burberry Goddess RM645 (RM1,018), Burberry Hero RM520 (RM830) and Hugo Boss Bottled Beyond RM495 (RM767). Each bottle was full price, with a four- or five-piece gift set.

Fine print

  • Hot Picks and Anniversary Sale prices are while stocks last. SOGO publishes per-store units only for its Early Bird Deals, not for these two bottles.
  • The extra points are for single receipts only. Supermarket purchases don't count at SOGO KL, and the sale pages also exclude non-participating brands.
  • Returns on these promotions follow SOGO's Return & Exchange policy. Easy Payment Plan purchases can't be returned or refunded and earn base points only.
  • Contest entries need the original receipt attached to each entry form, from the Customer Service Centre.
