This sale has ended

SSFHOME's moving-out clearance at Paradigm Mall Johor Bahru closed on 2 August 2026. Nothing on this page is claimable any more — it stays up as a record of what the sale was, plus the part readers actually still need: where SSFHOME trades in Johor now, and what the chain has running this month instead.

The outlet is gone from SSFHOME's own outlet finder, which is the clearest signal available that the Paradigm Mall JB store did not simply pause. Paradigm Mall's own tenant directory still lists "SSF, Lot 11 - 22, Level B" under Home, Decor & Furnishing — a stale directory entry, not a store you can walk into. Don't drive to Level B on the strength of the mall's website.

How the sale worked

It ran in two phases at the same Basement Floor outlet, both flat storewide discounts rather than item-by-item markdowns:

  • 12 June – 12 July 2026: 20% off storewide.
  • 13 July – 2 August 2026: extended and raised to 30% off storewide.

The discount covered furniture, home décor, kitchenware and general household essentials. On a RM1,200 sofa, 30% off worked out to RM360 saved (RM840 payable); on a RM250 bedding set, RM75 saved (RM175 payable); on a RM60 kitchenware pick, RM18 saved (RM42 payable). Those are straight arithmetic on the advertised storewide rate — SSFHOME published no per-receipt cap and no exclusion list for this closure, so the honest summary is that terms were settled at the counter.

Who it suited — and who should have skipped it

It suited anyone furnishing a JB home or rental who could take the item away or arrange delivery before the outlet shut, and who was happy to buy from remaining floor stock rather than order a specific colour or size. Bulky furniture is where a closing store gets awkward: once the outlet closes, the after-sales contact for that location goes with it.

It was a poor fit if you wanted a particular SKU (closure stock thins fast and isn't replenished), if you needed a long delivery window, or if you were hoping for deep clearance percentages — 30% storewide is a real discount, but it is not the 50–80% you see in SSFHOME's end-of-season clearance events.

For most people displaced by the Paradigm Mall closure, AEON Tebrau or Danga Utama are the nearest like-for-like replacements.

What's running instead (verified this week)

SSFHOME's own site currently advertises Merdeka Deals — items as low as RM1, 10–31 August 2026, in-store only and limited to SSFHOME VIP members. Alongside it: a permanent Clearance Zone with price drops in the 12–44% range, vouchers at RM30 off a RM300 spend and RM50 off a RM500 spend, and furniture delivery at RM80 in Klang Valley (free above a RM2,000 spend, with Peninsular Malaysia delivery now available).

Note the Merdeka Deals condition carefully: in-store and VIP-only, so sign up before you queue, and it is a nationwide chain promo rather than anything specific to Johor.

Fine print worth remembering

  • Storewide percentage sales at SSFHOME have historically not published exclusion lists — always confirm at the counter whether already-reduced stock stacks.
  • A single-outlet moving-out sale is not a chain-wide event. Other SSFHOME branches stayed on regular pricing throughout this one.
  • Mall tenant directories lag reality by months. The brand's own outlet finder is the more reliable source for whether a store exists.
