> Update (21 October 2026): there is no Village Grocer Bumper Sale this week. The last edition ran Friday 2 to Monday 5 October 2026. On 21 October the Bumper Sale collection on bites.com.my was empty, which is what it looks like between editions, and nothing headed "Bumper Sale" had been posted on @myvillagegrocer since. Noodle Day and the New Zealand Fair both ended on 11 October. Below is what you can still use until 31 October, followed by the record of every 2026 edition.

Is there a Village Grocer Bumper Sale right now?

No. Bumper Sale editions run Friday to Monday, and Village Grocer posts them on Instagram on the Friday they start. The last one (2–5 October) had Lay's 170g at RM10.99, OSK Japanese tea 50-bag boxes at RM16.99 and Buy 1 Free 1 Dettol Washing Machine Cleaner. It's over, and those prices are back to normal.

The weekly Bumper Harvest slot, which is a different thing, is still running. It's one or two fresh or frozen items at a fixed price, Friday to Monday, at all outlets. For 16–19 October it was frozen black tiger shrimp paste 150g at RM9.99 a pack. The next one should be posted on Friday 23 October. When the item is announced, it's listed in the Bumper Harvest collection.

What's on at Village Grocer until 31 October 2026

Bites Member Price, 16–31 October

You don't need a voucher. Scan the Bites app or card at the till and the member price applies. On 21 October the member-price list had 30 lines. Some show a normal price next to the member price:

  • Dynamo 4-in-1 laundry capsules 52s (Fresh, Eau de Rose, 3X Odor Remover, Colour Care): RM59.89, was RM89.10. That's about 33% off, the biggest cut on the list.
  • Ecobrowns Gold wholegrain mix 2kg: RM15.19, was RM18.55
  • Chobani Greek yoghurt 160g (nine flavours): RM11.69, was RM13.15 (RM13.20 for honey)

Mak Nyonya instant pastes and sauces 200g (asam pedas, rendang, tom yam, chicken curry, fish curry, curry laksa) are RM6.95, and Caroma matcha, hojicha and genmaicha latte 6-sachet boxes are RM15.90. For those, bites.com.my doesn't show the normal price, so we can't tell you the saving.

Bakery: 60% off the second item, 16–31 October

Buy two items from the in-store bakery and you get 60% off the cheaper one. Village Grocer's post lists ten outlets where it does not run: Gamuda Walk, IOI Mall Puchong, LSH33 Sentul, Cheras Leisure Mall, MET Galleria Mall, Vangohh Eminent, City Junction, 1st Avenue, Queens Waterfront Q1 Penang and IOI Mall Kulai. Every other Village Grocer outlet has it.

How the maths works (round numbers for illustration): a RM12 loaf and a RM9 pastry come to RM21. The 60% comes off the RM9 item, so you save RM5.40 and pay RM15.60, which is about 26% off the pair. A RM12 loaf with a RM3 bun saves only RM1.80, so pair items of similar price.

VG Brands Fair, live since 16 October

The VG Brands Fair collection had 255 products on 21 October, and 110 of them showed a "was" price. Village Grocer hasn't published an end date. The deepest cuts:

  • Bibigo stir-fried ramyun 4-packs (kimchi, cheese tteokbokki, spicy tteokbokki, K-chicken, smoky K-chicken): RM11.99, was RM18.90 (37% off)
  • Mamee Chef mi goreng rendang 4x89g: RM4.99, was RM7.60. Mamee Premium curry or chicken 5-packs: RM3.89, was RM5.60.
  • Naturel 3kg cooking oil (blend, sunflower, canola): RM30.39, was RM36.80. Naturel pure or extra virgin olive oil 750ml: RM42.59, was RM53.50–54.50.
  • So Good almond or oat milk 1L: RM10.99, was RM12.35. 100 Plus 1.5L: RM3.69, was RM4.45. Mr Potato tubes 125g: RM4.09, was RM5.60.

"VG Oct Deals"

This shorter October list still had 23 items on 21 October. Among them: Ruffles 170g at RM12.99 (was RM14.50–14.65), Brets crisps 125g at RM12.99 (was RM15.10) and Nut Walker mixed nuts 150g at RM18.99 (was RM23.45–23.75).

Worked example: a pantry top-up

Here's a basket bought between now and 31 October:

  • one Dynamo capsule tub (RM59.89)
  • two Bibigo 4-packs (RM23.98)
  • one Naturel 3kg cooking oil (RM30.39)
  • two So Good 1L (RM21.98)

That comes to RM136.24. At the "was" prices it's RM184.36, so you save RM48.12, about 26%. Roughly 60% of the saving is the laundry capsules, which only get the member price if your Bites app is scanned. The basket is just under the RM150 needed for the FD5 code online. Add one more item and you get RM5 off.

RM5 e-voucher on Saturday 31 October

Bites members get an RM5 e-voucher for RM80 or more in one receipt at IOI Mall Puchong, IOI Mall Kulai, Myra Park Marketplace Nilai and LSH33 Sentul on that day only. Infant milk powder and tobacco don't count towards the RM80.

Food Art Scratch & Win, last dates

The in-store Food Art Scratch & Win was announced for 24–25 and 31 October and 1 November at Atria, Sunway Giza, Plaza Arkadia Desa ParkCity, IOI Mall Puchong and Queens Waterfront Q1 Penang. Buy a Food Art soup and scratch a card for an RM500 or RM200 shopping card, or a Food Art goodie. It only runs while a promoter is on duty.

New store: One Square, Bandar Utama, from Friday 23 October

Village Grocer opens at One Square, Bandar Utama on Friday 23 October 2026, 10am to 10pm, with a lion dance at 9.30am. The opening offers in its 19 October post apply at this outlet only:

  • 23 October: "Bumper Bonanza" Buy 1 Free 1 deals (items not listed in advance). Spend RM300 and get a free fruit and vegetable gift bag (50 a day). Spend RM100 in one receipt and get an angpao pack with four discount vouchers inside (1,000 packs). Spend RM100 and get Ottogi Ramen Sari 5x110g (200 a day).
  • 30 October: spend RM100 and get two Listerine Total Care 100ml (200 a day). Spend RM350 on fresh seafood alone and get a whole 3–4kg Norwegian Atlantic salmon (20 a day).
  • 13 November: spend RM100 and get Royal Gold Signature facial tissue (200 a day).
  • New Bites members on 23 October: a succulent at RM100 spend (first 100), a kitchen plant at RM180 (first 100), or a Village Grocer non-woven bag at RM30 (one per member).
  • Farmers Fair, 23–25 October: live tuna cutting and live black tiger prawns. Supplier booths such as NutriPlus are giving away Ang Lhao sauce and a bag when you buy three packs of its air-chilled chicken.
  • Google review gift on 23 October only: post a Google review with text and photos, then redeem at customer service.

Who should shop this week, and who can wait

  • Shop now if you're a Bites member who uses laundry capsules. The Dynamo price is a third off and ends 31 October. Also shop now if you're near any non-excluded outlet and buy bread twice a week.
  • Go to One Square on 23 or 30 October if you live in Bandar Utama or Damansara and have a big shop planned. The RM350 seafood-for-salmon day (30 October) is the biggest single gift on the list.
  • Wait if you only want Bumper Sale-style headline prices on snacks and household items. Watch @myvillagegrocer on Friday mornings, because editions are announced the day they start.

Buying online: how the codes work

Village Grocer's online store is bites.com.my, with delivery or in-store pick-up. The 15 October Bumper Harvest post still listed the same two codes:

  • FD10: RM10 off plus free delivery, minimum spend RM250
  • FD5: RM5 off, minimum spend RM150

Online and in-store prices can differ, so check the shelf tag in store.
