KTM ETS Train Guide 2026: Routes, Fares, Concessions and How to Book
KTM's ETS now runs the full West Coast line from Padang Besar to JB Sentral. We searched KTMB's own booking system on 25 October 2026: KL Sentral to Butterworth costs RM82 to RM107 on a mid-November Wednesday, KL to Ipoh from RM48 and KL to JB Sentral from RM78. Here is how the three train types differ, how flexible fares and the 50% senior and OKU concessions work, and what you get back if you cancel.
Butterworth to KL Sentral ETS in October 2026: Jimat 10% Is Over, Gold From RM82 Is the Cheapest Ride
KTMB's Jimat 10% on the two early Platinum trains ended with September, and no public ETS promo code is live in October. On 3 October we checked 16 travel dates on KTMB's own booking site. The 7.50am Gold EG9343 is the cheapest Butterworth to KL Sentral train at RM82 to RM90. Platinum starts at RM101 on late-October Tuesdays, and Fridays to Sundays cost RM8 to RM10 more.
