Secret Recipe Merdeka Buy 2 Free 1 Has Ended — Every Cake Slice Deal Still Live in October 2026
Secret Recipe's Merdeka Deal — buy two cake slices, get one free — ran for five hours on 31 August 2026 and is over. Its page on Secret Recipe's own site now returns "This Page Isn't Available" and the campaign has been removed from the brand's promotions index, re-checked 2 October 2026. Nothing on the standing menu matches a third off, and the nearest thing — the one-day Gaji Coming payday on 29 September, 3 slices for RM29 or 4 for RM37 — has also ended, with no October date announced yet. What does exist: Tea Time Special gives a free hot drink with any cake slice on weekdays from 3pm to 6pm, with no membership and no minimum spend; Bestie Thursdate is RM26 for one slice plus two beverages every Thursday, for SR Rewards members; and both the New Lunch Set 2026 and Family Combo 2026 let you add one slice at 10% off. The exclusion lists are where this gets useful — Tea Time Special, the Lunch Set and the Family Combo are Peninsular Malaysia only, so in Sabah, Bestie Thursdate is the only current Secret Recipe promotion that touches a cake slice at all. This page has the terms, the one published slice price to measure them against, and the two places Secret Recipe's own website contradicts itself.
Secret Recipe Gaji Coming Payday Cake (3 Slices RM29): Last Ran 29 September 2026 — What's Live in October

As of 2 October no October date is posted, and September's Shopee, Lazada and Touch 'n Go vouchers have dropped off Secret Recipe's promotions list.
