Kota Kinabalu Hotel Mooncakes 2026 Have Ended: Shangri-La and Hyatt Prices to Remember, and Their Late-October and November Deals
Mooncake season is over at both Kota Kinabalu hotels. On 24 October 2026 Shangri-La Tanjung Aru's mooncake shop lists nothing and Hyatt Regency Kinabalu's Mid-Autumn category is empty. Here is the 2026 price record to plan 2027 with (Signature box RM198, RM155 a box at 60; Golden Bloom RM268, singles RM45 to RM55), plus what the two hotels sell now: Shangri-La dining credit at up to 25% off until 31 December and a Buy 4 Get 1 Free spa pack to 25 November, and Hyatt's new dated buffet vouchers (weekday breakfast RM65, Halloween, Deepavali and Thanksgiving dinners RM130 instead of RM168).

The October Kaw Kaw and Ong Ong Escapes closed for booking on 10 October. Shangri-La's new Penang member offer is Stay More Save More: 22% off a minimum 3-night stay at Golden Sands (from RM406 a night) and Rasa Sayang (from RM624), with breakfast for two and a RM50 dining credit per stay. Book 15 Oct to 30 Nov for stays 1 Nov 2026 to 31 Mar 2027. We priced it in ringgit on 21 October against every other rate at both resorts, and the prepaid Saver Rate is still cheaper on paper.
