Firefly Flights in October 2026: TNG eWallet Still Pays 2% Cashback to 31 December, and When Maybank's MBBFY Code Beats It
TNG eWallet's Firefly cashback is still running in October 2026, but only at the base rate: 2% back on any Firefly ticket bought in the Firefly Mini Program, capped at RM150 a transaction, no minimum spend, until 31 December or until a shared RM100,000 pool runs out. The 4% MATTA Fair fortnight ended on 14 September. We re-read TNG Digital's terms on 8 October, re-checked every sibling travel offer in the app, and ran the ringgit against the door most readers miss: Maybank's MBBFY code on Firefly's own site, worth 15%, 10% or 5% off the airfare depending on fare class, but blacked out over the Deepavali weekend and late December.
AirAsia's 10% and 27% All Seats, All Flights Sales Have Both Ended: What Is Live on airasia.com in October 2026, and the Base-Fare Asterisk
Both of AirAsia's 2026 "All Seats, All Flights" sales have now closed. The 10% sale ran 17 to 23 August, and its September rerun, up to 27% off to mark AirAsia's 17th straight Skytrax World's Best Low-Cost Airline award, ran 19 to 27 September. Re-checked on 7 October 2026, AirAsia's promotions hub carries no sitewide sale. The only new fare sale is a route-return deal, Kuala Lumpur to Ahmedabad and Amritsar from RM669 all-in, booking until 11 October. Below: what each sale really discounted (one-way base fare only, not your checkout total), how the two compared, and the standing offers still bookable today, starting with an extra 5% off international flights with code BIGPAY5.
