> Quick view: Auntea Jenny's 4-day Buy 1 Free 1 at Aman Central, Alor Setar ran 23–26 July 2026 and is long over. So is the Merdeka campaign that followed it, which closed on 16 September 2026. The outlet is still trading at LG-K17 & LG-K18, it is the only Auntea Jenny in Kedah, and JAKIM's own Halal Malaysia Portal now returns 26 certified Auntea Jenny premises — six more than the brand's July poster listed. This is what is worth knowing about it now, and what is still live in that mall this week.

First, the status

The promotion ended on 26 July 2026. There was no extension, no rolling version and no "opening month" tail. Auntea Jenny's opening promotions are short and they stop dead.

What did survive is the outlet. Re-checked on 18 September 2026:

  • Auntea Jenny's own store locator still lists "Auntea Jenny Aman Central — Lot Lg K17 &18 Aman Central 1 Darul Aman Hwy Kampung Lubok Peringgi 05100 Alor Setar".
  • Aman Central's own tenant directory lists it at LG-K17 & LG-K18, on the Lower Ground floor.
  • Mall hours: Monday to Sunday and public holidays, 10.00am – 10.00pm.

Two independent official sources, the same unit numbers, all three unchanged from our August check. The shop is open and trading at normal prices.

The question most people are actually searching: is it halal?

Yes — and specifically yes for *this* outlet, which is not automatically true of every Auntea Jenny in Malaysia.

Auntea Jenny Malaysia received JAKIM halal certification on 11 May 2026, initially covering 12 premises. Ng Ching Wai, the chain's Malaysia general manager, framed it at the launch as proof of its quality system and a mark of respect to the local market; JAKIM's executive director Muhyiddin Aziz @ Saari attended. On 1 July 2026 the brand published an updated Halal Certified Outlet poster carrying the Malaysia halal mark, MS 1500, certificate 2125-03/2025. That list has since grown to 20 outlets:

  • Klang Valley (8): Ativo Plaza, Bukit Tinggi Klang, IOI Puchong, Kepong, Mytown, Puchong, Sunway Pyramid, Sunway Velocity
  • Johor (3): Kluang, Segamat, Toppen
  • Penang (3): Gurney Plaza, Raja Uda, Queensbay
  • Malacca (2): Ayer Keroh, Kota Syahbandar
  • Kedah (1): Aman Central
  • Perak (1): Aeon Station 18
  • Pahang (1): East Coast Mall
  • Negeri Sembilan (1): Seremban 2

Aman Central is the single Kedah entry on that poster. The brand's own footnote adds that other outlets are still applying for certification and that all its drinks are halal-compliant — but in Malaysia the certificate is granted per premise, so "the brand is certified" and "this shop is certified" are two different claims. For Alor Setar, both happen to be true.

Certification is renewable and can lapse, and the authoritative check is JAKIM's own Halal Malaysia Portal rather than any brand poster. That portal was returning a server error when we tried it on 26 August 2026. It is working again, and this is the most useful thing we can add to this page today.

Searching the portal's Premis Makanan category for "Auntea" on 18 September 2026 returns 26 certified premises, all held by a single licence holder: SENJUN INDUSTRIAL SDN BHD, of 23-5 Menara Bangkok Bank, Berjaya Central Park, Jalan Ampang, 50450 Kuala Lumpur. That is six more premises than the brand's 1 July poster listed, so the certified estate has grown over the past two and a half months even though the poster has not been reissued.

One caveat before you lean on that number. The portal's directory prints the licence holder's company name and head-office address against every record rather than the individual shop, so it tells you *how many* Auntea Jenny premises are certified but not *which* ones. For any specific outlet — Aman Central included — the certificate displayed in that shop remains the check that actually settles it.

Kedah's only Auntea Jenny — and where the chain has got to

Aman Central is the only Kedah outlet on Auntea Jenny's locator. The nearest alternatives are in Penang: Gurney Plaza, Queensbay, Raja Uda and Sunway Carnival in Seberang Jaya.

The locator listed 50 trading outlets plus two marked "Coming Soon" (Ombak KLCC and Kota Damansara) in August, and it read exactly the same on 18 September. Treat that as a floor rather than a headcount — the Kota Damansara shop ran its own opening promotion on 7–9 August 2026 and is *still* filed under "Coming Soon" six weeks later, so the locator lags reality by more than a month.

The brand's own published counts disagree with each other, which is worth knowing before you quote any of them. Auntea Jenny's Instagram bio says 51 outlets. Its Facebook bio says "43 outlets in Malaysia" and "Globally 9000+ Outlets". The chain told Malaysian media in May it was at "nearly 50" and targeting more than 100 by the end of 2026. The locator is the least stale of the four, and even that is a month behind.

Two locator entries are worth noting for anyone tracking the rollout: Kuching Airport and Sandakan Airport now both appear, alongside The Spring Kuching — the chain's first East Malaysia store, which opened 22–24 July 2026, one day before Alor Setar.

Correction: Alor Setar did not get the full package

Our original write-up said the Aman Central launch used the same mechanic as the Klang Valley openings, and called it the standard rollout. Having now lined up every 2026 Malaysian opening, that was too generous — the mechanic and the length both vary a great deal, and Alor Setar landed mid-table.

Alor Setar got four straight days of Buy 1 Free 1 with no half-price tail, where the two big Klang Valley launches ran a full week in two phases. Kuching, opening the day before, got the most generous mechanic of the lot at Buy 2 Free 2. If you missed the Alor Setar window, the thing to take from this is not "openings are all the same" but "watch which mechanic a given opening gets" — the difference between four days of 1-for-1 and a week of 1-for-1 plus half-price is substantial.

What you can't get at Aman Central

On 12 August 2026 Auntea Jenny promoted a croissant-and-milk-tea pairing and named the outlets carrying it: Bukit Tinggi, Kepong, SS15, Taipan, TARUMT, Tamarind Square, Sunway Carnival, Gurney Plaza, Ayer Keroh and Kota Syahbandar. Aman Central is not on that list — Kedah gets drinks only. Worth knowing before you drive in for one.

Similarly, the Tai Zi Sponge merchandise combo — any two Large Iced Milk Series drinks plus one sponge for RM22.80 — ran 5–16 August 2026 and has ended. The sponge itself moved to the Auntea Jenny app afterwards, while stocks last.

The newest addition to the menu is the Coconut Mango Series, launched on 4 September 2026 — a Coconut Mango Watermelon Jumbo and a Coconut Mango Red Glutinous Rice, both topped with chewy red glutinous rice. Auntea Jenny gave away limited-edition stickers and postcards with those drinks until 16 September 2026; that freebie has ended, but the drinks themselves stay on the menu. As with the croissant, the brand has not published an outlet list for the series, so ring ahead if Kedah is a drive for you.

What happened to the Merdeka campaign

When we updated this page on 26 August, Auntea Jenny had been teasing a Merdeka campaign since 23 August — "get ready to play, win and have some fun" — without publishing a mechanic, dates or a prize list, and we said to treat any figure quoted elsewhere as unverified until the brand posted terms itself. It has since landed and closed, so here is the resolution.

Two separate things ran, not one:

  • A National Day offer on 30–31 August 2026. Buy any two drinks — any size, any series — and get a free medium Fresh Milk Tea. Two days only.
  • A spend-and-win contest that closed on 16 September 2026, with a DJI Osmo Pocket 3 among the prizes. Auntea Jenny was still pushing it on its own channels on 9 September with "one week left … the fun ends on 16 September".

Both are finished. As at 18 September 2026 Auntea Jenny has no live nationwide offer, and its most recent posts are ordinary menu and lifestyle content rather than promotions. If you are reading this page hoping for a running Auntea Jenny deal, there isn't one today — the next is likely to be tied to an outlet opening.

What is actually live in Aman Central this week

Two things in the same building still have published terms and have not expired:

  • Beutea, Level 4 (4-K02A). Its RM6.90 Merdeka Special on Regular White Peach Oolong and Jasmine Green Milk Tea ended on 31 August 2026, so disregard any page still quoting that price. Running now: Black Tea Cham Latte, second cup 50% off, 17–20 September 2026 — a pre-launch for the new drink, GrabFood only, at participating outlets. Check the Aman Central branch is listed on GrabFood before you count on it. Separately, Beutea's open-ended Snack & Sip offer continues through its own app: free yam chips with any Large Fresh Milk Tea, or free pretzel croutons with a Regular.
  • Aman Central's "AC Merdeka 2026" Short Video Challenge, which runs 13 August – 20 September 2026 and therefore closes this Sunday. Post a 15–30 second video shot in the mall, caption it "Aman Central is my go-to place because…" in 20 words or fewer, tag three friends, and use #ACMerdeka2026, #ACContest and #AmanCentral. Prizes run from a RM500 grand prize and RM350 / RM200 / RM150 for the top three, down to ten RM100 merit prizes and twenty RM50 consolation prizes. An Auntea Jenny cup is as good a prop as any.

The mall's Knot of Harmony Merdeka Bazaar at the North Atrium finished on 31 August 2026 and is no longer listed on Aman Central's site.

Correction: Gong Cha has left the directory

Our August version of this page said Aman Central's directory carried Gong Cha at LG-05. It does not any more. On 18 September the directory's G section runs Garmin, Gigi Coffee, Gintell, Gio Fabrics, Giordano, GoGo Party and Golden Screen Cinemas, with no Gong Cha entry at all.

The drinks competition around Auntea Jenny today is ChaTraMue (LG-20), Coolblog (LG-K16), Bask Bear Coffee (LG-K02) and Boost Juice Bars (LG-02) on the same Lower Ground floor, Chagee (G-61 & 73) on Ground, and Gigi Coffee (4-K06) and Beutea (4-K02A) up on Level 4. That is still six rivals in one building, four of them within a short walk of the Auntea Jenny counter — walk the Lower Ground strip before committing.

How to catch the next Auntea Jenny promotion

The chain does not run a promotions page on its Malaysian website, so there is no single URL to bookmark. In practice the campaign always appears first on the brand's own social channels, and the terms live inside the poster image rather than in the caption. The channels that actually carry offers:

  • Instagram [@aunteajenny.my](https://www.instagram.com/aunteajenny.my/) — the fastest, and where the halal-outlet list is pinned.
  • Facebook [Auntea Jenny MY](https://www.facebook.com/AunteaJennyMY/) — the same posters, though the page bio is stale (it still says 43 outlets).
  • The Auntea Jenny app, linked from the brand's official Linktree, which also carries app-only mechanics and merchandise drops.
  • Delivery and voucher channels: foodpanda, GrabFood and ShopeeFood for delivery, plus a ShopeeFood e-voucher store and an official Lazada store — though the Lazada store only sells RM20 and RM50 cash vouchers at face value, so there is no discount in buying one.

One pattern is reliable enough to plan around: every new Malaysian outlet opens with a promotion, usually 3–7 days long, announced only days in advance. With Ombak KLCC and Kota Damansara both still sitting under "Coming Soon" on the locator as at 18 September, and a target of 100+ outlets by year end, there will be more.
