> Status, 28 September 2026: the RM6.90 Merdeka Special ended on 31 August, and the GrabFood Cham Latte pre-launch ended on 20 September. Beutea's live deals are the RM7.90 Coconut Latte in the Beutea app and the Week 2 Coffee Series merch bundles that started today.

Is the Beutea RM6.90 deal still on?

No. The Merdeka Special ran from 1 to 31 August 2026 and was not extended. Nothing Beutea has posted in September brings back a RM6.90 cup, and none of its current offers discounts the White Peach Oolong or Jasmine Green milk teas that deal covered.

Beutea spent September launching coffee instead. It ran a GrabFood-only pre-launch of its first coffee drink from 14 to 20 September, held a members' Coffee Rave at Ombak KLCC on 19 September, and put a full Coffee Series on sale in its outlets from Monday 21 September.

What's live now

1. Coconut Latte at RM7.90 in the Beutea app

Beutea's launch post lists one "Limited Time Promo": the Coconut Latte for RM7.90 when you order through the Beutea app. A 26 September post repeats it, describing the drink as espresso with creamy coconut and zero-calorie sugar. No end date is printed and T&Cs apply, so treat it as live until Beutea's app stops showing it.

The offer is app-only. Counter orders and Grab orders pay the normal menu price, which Beutea hasn't published for the Coffee Series.

2. Coffee Series denim merch, Week 2 (from 28 September)

Beutea is releasing limited-edition denim merchandise in weekly drops. Week 2 started on Monday 28 September 2026:

  • Free puzzle sticker when you buy any 2 Coffee Series drinks
  • Denim Charm bundle: a denim charm from RM11.90 with any 1 Coffee Series drink
  • Denim Bag bundle: a denim bag from RM16.90 with any 1 Coffee Series drink
  • Each charm or bag bundle also comes with a free puzzle sticker

All merch and free stickers are "while stocks last". Week 1 (21-27 September) offered a free sticker sheet with any 1 drink, a Denim Lanyard from RM19.90 and a Denim Pouch from RM9.90. Commenters on Beutea's post said the pouch sold out in the first week, so go early in the week if you want a specific piece.

The four Coffee Series drinks

Beutea calls these limited-time drinks. All use the same 100% Arabica blend of Ethiopia Yirgacheffe, Brazil and Colombia beans:

  • Black Tea Cham Latte: coffee with black tea, like a kopi cham
  • Coconut Latte: the RM7.90 app drink
  • Strawberry Cloud Latte: a latte with a strawberry cream top
  • Oreo Cloud Latte: espresso and milk with a cream cloud and Oreo crumbs

What it works out to

Beutea hasn't posted menu prices for the Coffee Series, so we can only work from the prices it has printed:

  • One Coconut Latte in the app: RM7.90. Beutea doesn't say whether that includes the 6% service tax. If it doesn't, as with the Merdeka price, expect about RM8.37 at checkout.
  • Two Coconut Lattes in the app: RM15.80 before tax. Two Coffee Series drinks is also the Week 2 threshold for the free puzzle sticker, if the app order counts. Beutea hasn't said.
  • Cheapest way into a denim piece: one Coffee Series drink plus a Denim Charm from RM11.90. With a RM7.90 Coconut Latte that would be RM19.80. Beutea hasn't said whether merch bundles can be bought in the app, though, so you may pay the counter price for the drink.
  • Compared with the Merdeka deal: RM7.90 is RM1.00 more per cup than the old RM6.90 milk tea price.

Who should bother, and who can skip

Worth it if you drink lattes and already use the Beutea app. RM7.90 is below what most chains charge for a flavoured latte at full price. The merch bundles suit collectors who'd buy a Coffee Series drink anyway. Go early in the week, because stock runs out.

Skip it if you only drink the Fresh Milk Tea range. Nothing in September discounts it. Also skip if you don't want the app, since the RM7.90 price isn't available at the counter.

Other Beutea news this month

  • Tea bags at Jaya Grocer. Since 22 September, a BEUTEA x Grab Signatures tea bag collection has been sold at selected Jaya Grocer outlets and on GrabMart.
  • Brunei. Beutea's first Brunei outlet (Setia Kenangan 2, Kiulap) soft-opens on 28 September, with milk teas at B$2 from 28 to 30 September and a grand opening on 16 October. This only matters if you're crossing over from Miri or Limbang.

The Merdeka Special, for the record

  • What: Regular White Peach Oolong Milk Tea (usually RM10.90) or Regular Jasmine Green Milk Tea (usually RM9.90) at RM6.90
  • When: 1-31 August 2026
  • How: Beutea app only, pickup or delivery
  • Catch: RM6.90 was before 6% service tax (about RM7.31 a cup at checkout) and couldn't be combined with other vouchers

Both the Merdeka Special and the RM7.90 Coconut Latte were app-only. If Beutea discounts a signature drink again, the app is the likeliest place, so it's worth keeping installed.
