What Avillion is offering
Avillion is the resort at 3rd Mile on Jalan Pantai, best known for its rows of chalets built on stilts over the water, styled on a Malay fishing village. The Water Chalet is the entry-level over-water room: 50.4 square metres, a balcony over the sea, sleeps up to four.
The offer appears as its own rate plan on Avillion's booking engine, labelled "Deepavali 3D2N Promo 25% OFF". Its terms, read on 7 October 2026, say:
- Booking period: now to 31 October 2026
- Stay period: now to 8 November 2026
- Minimum stay: two consecutive nights
- Includes: daily breakfast for two, Wi-Fi, and free parking subject to availability
- Payment: full prepayment at booking; non-refundable, non-cancellable and non-amendable once confirmed
- Not combinable with any other promotion, and subject to availability
The resort's own offers page did not list the Deepavali deal on 7 October. The booking engine is where it lives, so book there.
What it actually costs (priced 7 October 2026)
We searched the engine for two adults and one room. The prices below are totals for two nights and the engine says they include taxes and fees. "Normal" is the same chalet's regular rate with breakfast on the same dates.
- Tue 20 to Thu 22 October: promo RM600, normally RM800. You save RM200.
- Fri 23 to Sun 25 October: promo RM750, normally RM1,000. You save RM250.
- Fri 6 to Sun 8 November: promo RM862.50, normally RM1,150. You save RM287.50.
- Sat 7 to Mon 9 November: promo RM975, normally RM1,300. You save RM325. The rate breakdown shows RM487.50 for each night, including Sunday 8 November, Deepavali itself.
Each of these is exactly 25% off. Prices change by date and as rooms sell, so check your own nights before you pay.
The detail that matters: on weekdays it is free breakfast
On 20-22 October the Water Chalet's room-only rate was also RM600 for two nights. So on a midweek stay the promo costs the same as a plain room and adds breakfast for two at no charge. That is a fair deal, but not a bigger one than "25% off" suggests.
At weekends the promo does better. For 23-25 October the room-only rate was RM800, so the promo with breakfast was RM50 cheaper than the room alone.
Worked examples
A Malaysian couple, midweek. Two nights from 20 October cost RM600 on the promo. Add the Negeri Sembilan Fi Lestari of RM4 per room per night, so RM8, paid at check-in. Your total is RM608 for two nights with breakfast, or RM304 a night. Also bring RM100 (cash or card) for the refundable security deposit.
A family over Deepavali. Taking Saturday 7 to Monday 9 November, using the replacement holiday, costs RM975 plus RM8 Fi Lestari. That is RM983 for two nights, against RM1,308 at the regular breakfast rate. The chalet sleeps four, but the price we saw is for two adults. Children and extra guests may change it, so enter your real party size on the engine.
Foreign guests pay the RM10 per room per night tourism tax on top, so RM20 more for two nights.
Who should book, and who should skip
Good for: couples and small families who were going to want breakfast anyway, anyone planning a weekend or the Deepavali long weekend (where the saving is biggest), and Klang Valley or Seremban residents after a short beach break by car.
Skip it if: your dates might change, since the booking cannot be refunded or amended. Skip it too if you only want one night, because the minimum is two. If you want a bigger room, the Premium Water Chalet and Water Villas are not part of this promo.
Fine print that trips people up
- King or twin? The written terms say the deal is for the Water Chalet (King) only. On 7 October the engine also sold the same 25% rate on the Water Chalet (Twin). If you book the twin, screenshot the rate before paying.
- The "King" chalet lists a queen bed. The engine's room details give one queen bed for the Water Chalet (King).
- Book by 31 October, not stay by 31 October. You can stay until the night of 8 November, but the rate disappears after the booking deadline.
- Check-in is 3pm, check-out noon.
- Extra charges at check-in: Fi Lestari RM4 per room per night for everyone, RM10 tourism tax for non-Malaysians, and a RM100 refundable deposit.
