> Quick view: Bataras, the Sabah and Labuan supermarket chain, has two flyers running at once. Jimat Setiap Hari (23 October to 8 November 2026) has Coca-Cola 1.5L at RM3.29 and Bio Zip 3.8kg at RM16.90. A separate page of carton prices ends on 2 November, and that is where the real stock-up value is: Maggi works out to 76 sen a pack and 100Plus to RM1.58 a can. Watch the two different buying limits.

Bataras runs hypermarkets, superstores, Fresh Marts and a Marketplace format across Sabah and Labuan, from its head office at Bataras Hypermarket Kolombong in Kota Kinabalu out to Tenom, Kudat, Semporna and Labuan's Financial Park. Both flyers below were uploaded to bataras.com on 24 October 2026, and we read every price straight off the artwork on 31 October. The carton page is the more useful of the two for families and small kedai owners, but it is also the one that ends first.
Jimat Setiap Hari: the four headline items
Valid 23 October to 8 November 2026, limited to 2 units per customer per day:
- Bio Zip powder detergent (assorted) 3.8kg: RM16.90
- Coca-Cola, Sprite or A&W Sarsaparilla 1.5L or 1.75L: RM3.29 each, or RM39.00 for a carton of 12
- Babas curry powder (assorted) 250g: RM5.79
- Kobis bunga (cauliflower): RM6.99 per kg
The page is marked 11/26, which suggests it is the front of a longer catalogue. Only this front page is published on bataras.com, so the other items in the issue have to be checked on the shelf.
Borong Mudah dan Jimat: ten carton prices, per unit
Valid 23 October to 2 November 2026, at all Bataras outlets in Sabah and Labuan, limited to 3 per family per day:
- Maggi Curry or Chicken, 12 x (5+1) x 79g: RM54.90. That is 72 packs, so about RM0.76 a pack or RM4.58 for each 6-pack.
- Cap Burung Murai wheat flour, 12 x 850g: RM27.90, about RM2.33 a packet
- Kara coconut cream, 30 x 200ml: RM94.50, or RM3.15 a box
- F&N Teh Tarik pouch 2.5kg: RM16.90 per packet
- Dutch Lady UHT Pure Farm, 12 x 1L: RM69.90, about RM5.83 a litre
- Fanta (assorted), 12 x 1.5L: RM31.90, about RM2.66 a bottle
- Drinho Asian drinks, 4 x 6 x 250ml: RM18.90 for 24 packs, about 79 sen each
- 100Plus isotonic, 24 x 325ml: RM37.90, about RM1.58 a can
- K1000 powder detergent, 4 x 5kg: RM56.00, or RM2.80 per kg
- Glo dishwashing liquid, 12 x 800ml: RM63.90, about RM5.33 a bottle
How to use it, step by step
- Go before Monday 2 November if you want cartons. After that date only the Jimat Setiap Hari prices remain.
- Split a big order across days or family members. The carton cap is 3 per family per day, so a fourth carton of 100Plus means another visit.
- Compare per kilo and per bottle, not per pack. K1000 at RM2.80/kg is far cheaper per kilo than Bio Zip at about RM4.45/kg, if you have room for 20kg of powder.
- Bring the flyer on your phone. Bataras' standing KAMI PATUH promise says the lower price applies when the shelf label and the till disagree, so a screenshot helps.
Worked examples
- Monthly family restock. One carton each of Maggi (RM54.90), Dutch Lady UHT (RM69.90), 100Plus (RM37.90) and Cap Burung Murai flour (RM27.90) comes to RM190.60, well inside the limit of 3 per item.
- Kenduri cooking. Three cartons of Kara coconut cream, the daily maximum, cost RM283.50 for 90 boxes (18 litres). Need more and you are back the next day.
- Fizzy drinks for a party. A Coca-Cola carton is RM39.00, or RM3.25 a bottle. Twelve singles at RM3.29 would cost RM39.48, so the carton saves only 48 sen. The Fanta carton on the other page is cheaper at RM2.66 a bottle, but only until 2 November.
Who it suits, and who should skip it
It suits households in Sabah and Labuan with storage space, and anyone cooking for an event, because the carton prices on Maggi, Kara and 100Plus bring the unit cost well down. Skip the Coca-Cola carton if you only want a few bottles: the single price is nearly the same, and two singles at RM3.29 stay inside the daily limit. Skip the cartons altogether if you live far from a Bataras branch, since fuel for a special trip can cancel out a few ringgit of saving.
The fine print that trips people up
- Two end dates. The carton page ends on 2 November; Jimat Setiap Hari runs to 8 November. The cover banner you see in store may not tell you which is which.
- Two different limits. 2 units per customer per day on Jimat Setiap Hari, 3 per family per day on cartons. Neither page says whether a Coca-Cola carton counts as 1 unit or 12 against the 2-unit cap, so ask at the counter.
- Decorative items are not included, and prices can change or run out while stocks last, according to the carton page footer.
- Other campaigns overlap. Bataras' Instagram also lists a Nestlé promotion from 29 October to 1 November, and a reel posted on 30 October tells MyKasih recipients they can claim at Bataras between 1 and 10 November. Neither publishes a price list we could read, so check the shelf.
