Two different ways to save on baby gear in Klang Valley

"Warehouse sale" gets thrown around loosely in Malaysia — some of it means a genuine clearance event with dated discounts, and some of it is just a permanent outlet store that never closes. Both are worth knowing about if you're kitting out a nursery or replacing a car seat your toddler has outgrown, but they work differently: outlet stores are there every day at a lower everyday price point, while baby fairs and warehouse sales are periodic events where brands clear stock hard for a few days at a time.

We only kept operators we could verify were genuinely trading in Malaysia in 2025/2026 through their own websites or official social pages. No SGD, no Singapore-only events, and no discount percentage that we couldn't trace back to a dated source.

Permanent outlets: everyday lower prices

Poney, the Malaysian-founded children's clothing brand (its first store opened at Mines Shopping Centre back in 1992), runs a full outlet at Genting Highlands Premium Outlets — about an hour from KL — and periodically layers extra promotions on top, including a special sale running 29 May to 7 June 2026 with deals from as low as RM9 plus an additional 10% off. Cotton On Kids sits a few doors down at the same outlet mall, discounting kids' apparel and accessories daily. Mothercare Malaysia doesn't run a single "outlet" but keeps a standing online sale section and has 21 stores nationwide, several of them in Klang Valley malls, where end-of-season stock gets marked down. Mama Kim runs dedicated baby-product outlets in Klang and Shah Alam that skip mall rent entirely, which shows up in its pricing. Toys"R"Us Malaysia runs periodic Star Card member clearance sales at its stores, including one confirmed running at Sunsuria Forum Mall until 2 August 2026.

Recurring baby fairs: the biggest one-off discounts

If you can time a big purchase — a stroller, car seat, or a bulk buy of diapers and formula — around a baby fair, the savings tend to beat any everyday outlet price. BIG Baby Expo returns to Mid Valley Exhibition Centre from 28 to 31 August 2026, with daily limited "Super Special Deals" from as low as RM1 on selected items and a RM100 New Mummy Voucher for pre-registered first-time mothers. TCE Baby Expo, billed as Malaysia's largest baby fair, holds its 63rd edition at MITEC in Kuala Lumpur from 2 to 4 October 2026, with over 200 booths covering strollers, car seats, milk powder, diapers and toys. Motherhood Malaysia runs its own recurring Baby Fair & Warehouse Sale (most recently featured for February 2026) advertising discounts up to 90% off on formula, diapers and strollers, alongside its permanent retail outlet at Jaya One in Petaling Jaya.

What we left out

We dropped Royal Sporting House from this list — while it does carry kids' shoes and does run warehouse sales, it's a general sportswear retailer rather than a dedicated baby/kids operator, so it didn't fit cleanly alongside the others. We also skipped BaaBaaSheepz's warehouse clearance sale, since the confirmed 23–24 May 2026 event we could verify was held in Singapore, not Malaysia — its Malaysian arm (baabaasheepz.my) runs online promotions but we found no dated Malaysia warehouse sale to point to.

Before you go

Baby fair layouts, exact discounts and even exhibition dates shift between announcements, and outlet stock changes weekly. Confirm current pricing and opening hours on each operator's own website or official social page before making the trip, especially for a big-ticket item like a car seat or stroller.
