What you actually save

Because the 60% is capped at RM15, the discount only keeps growing up to a RM25 basket. Everything above that is charged at full price, so the bigger your order, the weaker the deal gets.

RM25 is the sweet spot: 60% of RM25 is exactly RM15, the cap. Order less and you leave discount on the table; order more and you are subsidising the extra food yourself.

How to redeem

  1. Link pandacredit first if you haven't: open the Touch 'n Go eWallet app, tap More, search foodpanda, tap Link TNG eWallet and complete the authorisation. Linking is free and takes a minute — do it before you start browsing, so the discount doesn't slip away while you fix payment.
  2. Open the foodpanda app, foodpanda.my, or the foodpanda mini-programme inside TNG eWallet
  3. Add items from a restaurant to your cart — minimum RM12
  4. In the "Apply a voucher" field, enter HELLOTNGD
  5. Select Touch 'n Go eWallet or pandacredit as your payment method
  6. Confirm the 60% discount (up to RM15) shows before you pay

The catch — the clauses the banner doesn't show

  • You get one attempt, not one order. Touch 'n Go's terms are explicit: the voucher applies to your first order attempt only, and if that order is cancelled or refunded *for any reason*, the voucher counts as redeemed and will not be re-issued. A restaurant rejecting your order burns it. Order from somewhere you know accepts orders reliably.
  • Restaurant delivery and pick-up only. pandamart and other grocery orders don't qualify, and the terms also exclude reload transactions, gift cards and in-store services.
  • No split or combined transactions — you can't break a big basket into two orders to squeeze the code twice, and each eligible user gets one voucher for the whole 1 August–31 October window.
  • The pool can end it early. The campaign stops when all vouchers are redeemed *or* on 31 October, whichever comes first, with 750 released a day nationwide. Try late in the evening and the day's batch may already be gone.
  • Payment method is non-negotiable — card, cash or another e-wallet won't trigger the discount, because the offer runs through the Touch 'n Go eWallet tie-up.
  • Cannot be stacked with other foodpanda promotions, discounts or vouchers running at the same time.
  • Delivery fees sit outside the discount. The 60% comes off your food, not the rider fee, so a far-away restaurant can eat a chunk of the RM15 back.

Who this is for — and who should skip it

Worth it if: you've never ordered on foodpanda, or your last order was more than 12 months ago, and you already use Touch 'n Go eWallet. Build a basket at around RM25 from a nearby restaurant and you pay roughly RM10 for food plus the delivery fee — the best first-order rate any Malaysian delivery app is publishing right now.

Skip it if: you ordered on foodpanda within the last year. The code simply won't apply to your account, and there is no workaround in the terms. Regular users are better served by the restaurant-specific deals that rotate weekly — Marrybrown's Kombo Merdeka second combo at RM6.90 runs on foodpanda until 17 September, for example — none of which can be stacked with HELLOTNGD anyway.

Tips

  • Redeem earlier in the day. The 750-voucher cap is a single nationwide pool, not a per-outlet or per-state allocation, so demand from anywhere in Malaysia eats into the same batch.
  • Link pandacredit even if you use the plain foodpanda app. It is free, it is what unlocks foodpanda's pandacredit-only cashback campaigns later, and it gives you instant refunds instead of a multi-day wait.
