Is there a Kenny Rogers Buy 1 Free 1 right now?

No. KRR's Buy 1 Free 1 is a short campaign that comes back every few weeks, usually on one delivery app at a time. These are the 2026 runs we could trace (dates as reposted by EverydayOnSales from KRR's own announcements):

  • 20–21 April: Buy 1 Free 1 on selected meals at participating outlets.
  • 25–27 April: Buy 2 Free 1 on foodpanda.
  • 28–30 April: Buy 1 Free 1 on foodpanda.
  • 28–30 June: Buy 1 Free 1 on foodpanda (Kenny's Quarter Meal Combo and a "Kombo" mix with Chicken Rice Solo, Nasi Lemak Ohsem and selected Power Meals).
  • 21–27 July: Buy 1 Free 1 on foodpanda; pandaPro early access 21–23 July, all users 24–27 July.
  • 26–27 August: Buy 1 Free 1 on selected favourites on foodpanda.
  • 21–24 September: Buy 1 Free 1 on MIX Kombos on foodpanda; pandaPro only on 21–22 September, all users on 23–24 September.
  • 28–29 September: Buy 1 Free 1 on GrabFood, the first GrabFood run we have seen this year.

Every run since June has landed in the last ten days of the month and lasted two to four days. That makes roughly 20–30 October the window to watch, but KRR has not announced anything for October as of 6 October 2026.

What's running in October 2026

1. RM19.90 nett Wholesome Treat (dine-in and takeaway)

  • From: 30 September 2026, no end date published
  • Where: Participating Kenny Rogers ROASTERS outlets, all day, dine-in and takeaway
  • Choose one of four meals at RM19.90 nett: Nasi Lemak Ohsem, House Favourite Meal, Quarter Chicken Rice, Golden Crispy Meal

This replaces September's stand-alone Golden Crispy Meal at RM19.90 nett with a wider pick. "Nett" means no service charge or tax added on top. Ask at the counter before ordering if you are at a smaller outlet, because KRR only says "participating outlets".

2. ShopeeFood Jom Rebut Deals (28 September – 27 December 2026)

  • Meal for 2: RM38 (RM19 a head)
  • Kenny's Quarter Meal: RM20.90

KRR describes this one as "buy now, makan later", so expect a voucher-style listing in ShopeeFood that you buy first and redeem later. Read the voucher's own validity and outlet list before paying. Delivery fees are not included in these prices and depend on your address.

3. ShopeeFood Shocking Sale (4–10 October 2026)

  • 2pcs Kenny's Ayam Goreng: RM15
  • Kenny's Quarter Meal: RM23.50

Only the RM15 fried chicken is worth singling out. The same Quarter Meal is RM2.60 cheaper under Jom Rebut (RM20.90), which runs at the same time on the same app.

4. foodpanda Best Sellers (1 August – 31 December 2026)

  • Announced discount: Up to 40% off for pandaPro members; 20% for everyone else
  • What we saw on 13 September 2026 (Sunway Putra outlet, logged out): 25% off three meals. Kenny's Quarter Lite Meal and Nasi Lemak Ayam Ohsem were RM21.98 (from RM29.30), and the Golden Crispy Meal was RM22.42 (from RM29.90). Delivery was RM2.99 with a RM12 minimum order.

Those foodpanda figures are from one outlet on one day; the rate you get can differ by account and outlet.

Worked examples: which channel is cheapest?

  • One Golden Crispy Meal: RM19.90 at the counter vs RM22.42 + RM2.99 = RM25.41 on foodpanda. Collecting it yourself saves RM5.51.
  • One Nasi Lemak Ohsem: RM19.90 at the counter vs RM21.98 + RM2.99 = RM24.97 on foodpanda (13 Sep price). Saves RM5.07.
  • Dinner for two, delivered: ShopeeFood Meal for 2 at RM38 plus delivery, vs foodpanda's undiscounted Meal for 2 at RM48.50 (13 Sep list price). That is RM10.50 less before fees.
  • One Quarter Meal, delivered: RM20.90 on ShopeeFood Jom Rebut vs from RM30.20 on foodpanda (13 Sep, not in the Best Sellers discount). About RM9.30 less before fees.
  • Two people, counter vs Buy 1 Free 1: two Wholesome Treat meals cost RM39.80 today. A foodpanda Buy 1 Free 1 on a RM29.30 meal costs RM29.30 + RM2.99 = RM32.29, so waiting for the next run saves about RM7.50, but only if one is announced and your meal is in the free-item pool.

Who should use which deal

  • Near an outlet, eating alone: the RM19.90 nett Wholesome Treat beats every delivery price we found.
  • Two people at home: ShopeeFood's RM38 Meal for 2 is the strongest delivery deal and runs to 27 December.
  • Just want fried chicken: 2pcs Ayam Goreng for RM15 on ShopeeFood, until 10 October only.
  • pandaPro members: check the Best Seller section; your discount may be higher than the 25% we saw.
  • Feeding two and not in a hurry: wait for a late-October Buy 1 Free 1, but don't count on it until KRR posts the dates.

How to check before you order

  1. Open the delivery app and search "Kenny Rogers ROASTERS"; promotions are shown on the outlet page, not the brand page, so check your nearest outlet.
  2. Look at the price in the cart, not the menu, then add the delivery fee and any small-order fee.
  3. Compare that with RM19.90 nett at the counter. If the gap is over RM5 and you can collect, takeaway wins.
  4. For Buy 1 Free 1 alerts, follow KRR Malaysia on Facebook and Instagram; runs are announced only a day or two ahead.
