> The Ipoh Falim sale has ended. Gatti Sports Factory Outlet's mega sale at AEON Big Ipoh Falim ran 24 July – 2 August 2026. Still on in Perak: the same operator's clearance has moved to Taiping Sentral Mall, Ground Floor, 13–31 August 2026, daily 10am–10pm — up to 80% off, items from RM8. Full details below, with the Ipoh record kept for reference.

What's on in Perak right now

Gatti Sports moved its travelling clearance north after Falim wrapped. The current Perak leg is at Taiping Sentral Mall — roughly an hour's drive from Ipoh up the North–South Expressway:

  • Where: Ground Floor, Taiping Sentral Mall, No. 36 Jalan Istana Larut, 34000 Taiping, Perak
  • When: 13–31 August 2026, daily 10.00am–10.00pm
  • Headline: up to 80% off, selected items from RM8 (shoe bags)
  • Published price floors: jerseys from RM10, branded caps from RM29, running shoes from RM59, badminton rackets from RM79
  • Bundle prices: two pairs of football boots for RM50, two pairs of kids' shoes for RM80
  • Buy 1 Free 1: selected Gatti shoes, slippers and backpacks, plus Puma shoes — slippers and sandals excluded
  • Accessories (backpacks, sports bags, caps, balls): 30%–50% off

That's a 19-day window, more than double the nine days Ipoh got, so there's less pressure to go on opening day. The clearance logic is the same, though: the RM8–RM59 end of the rack is where sizes vanish first.

What the Ipoh Falim sale was

Kept for the record — this is what this article originally covered:

  • Dates: 24 July – 2 August 2026, daily 10.00am–10.00pm
  • Where: Ground Floor, AEON Big Ipoh Falim, No. 1 Hala Falim, Jalan Lahat, Taman Mas Jaya, 30200 Ipoh, Perak
  • Offer: up to 80% off original sportswear, running shoes, badminton rackets, jerseys, backpacks and accessories; Buy 1 Free 1 on selected items; selected items from RM9
  • Brands listed for that leg: Gatti, Adidas, Puma, Asics, Nike, Saucony, Lotto, Umbro, Yonex, Maxbolt and Wilson

How Gatti's travelling sale actually works

This is not a one-off event, and that matters for how much urgency you should feel. Gatti Sports Factory Outlet runs the same clearance format on a rolling circuit of Malaysian malls. In 2026 alone:

| Leg | Dates | Headline | | --- | --- | --- | | Angsana Mall, Johor Bahru | 22 May – 7 Jun 2026 | Up to 70% off | | AEON Big Ipoh Falim, Perak | 24 Jul – 2 Aug 2026 | Up to 80% off, from RM9 | | Sutera Mall, Skudai JB | 31 Jul – 10 Aug 2026 | Up to 80% off, from RM8 | | Taiping Sentral Mall, Perak | 13–31 Aug 2026 | Up to 80% off, from RM8 |

Two things follow. First, if you miss a leg, another one is usually a few weeks away — it is rarely worth panic-buying at one. Second, the "up to 80%" headline stays constant but the *floor* price shifts (RM9 in Ipoh, RM8 in Taiping) and the brand mix changes by leg: Ipoh advertised eleven brands including Asics, Nike, Yonex and Wilson, while the Sutera Mall and Taiping legs led with Gatti, adidas, Puma, Lotto and Maxbolt. Don't drive out assuming a specific brand will be on the rack.

Who this suits — and who should skip it

Worth the trip if you buy sports gear by price rather than by model: school PE shoes, a spare jersey, a beginner badminton racket, a gym bag, kids' shoes they'll outgrow in a year. At two pairs of kids' shoes for RM80, the per-pair cost is hard to beat in a mall.

Skip it if you need a specific model, a specific size, or a technical running shoe you've already been fitted for. Factory-outlet clearance is end-of-line stock — the size run is whatever didn't sell, and there's no guarantee your size exists in the model you want. A specialist running store is the better call there.

Fine print, then and now

  • "Up to 80% off" is a ceiling, not a flat storewide rate. Individual products are cut by different amounts — check the shelf tag against the usual retail price before you commit.
  • Buy 1 Free 1 covers named categories only. On the Taiping leg, Puma slippers and sandals are explicitly excluded; Gatti's own slippers are included.
  • Bundle prices are fixed set prices. Two pairs for RM50 or RM80 only saves you money if you genuinely want two pairs.
  • No excluded-item list or per-receipt cap was published for the Ipoh leg. Neither leg required a minimum spend, membership or app — it's straight over-the-counter clearance.
  • Stock is not replenished. Popular sizes and colourways go well before the closing date.

How to catch the next Perak leg

Gatti Sports Factory Outlet's online store is at gattisfo.com, which carries Gatti, Lotto, adidas and Puma year-round and lists standing vouchers (RM3 off RM50, RM5 off RM150, RM30 off RM250, RM50 off RM500). New roadshow dates tend to be announced on the host mall's own Facebook page rather than on the brand site — for the current leg that's Taiping Sentral Mall. Worth a check before any special trip, since clearance events occasionally shift dates or close a few days early once the stock runs down.
